This shopping mall is a bit confusing to me. It's the layout that throws me off every time. I mean, when you go in, it seems pretty standard, but then when you are looking for something in particular, that's when it gets confusing.
There are two sides to the escalators, the direction it brings you up or down makes you have to go around and around in circles, makes me dizzy every time I go to the movie theatre or the restaurants.
There are shops flanked both sides of the escalators, seems pretty straight forward, but it's not that, it's just the direction of the escalators that makes it tiring.
Okay aside from the dizziness, the selection of shops here are more catered towards parents of young children. There are loads of children shops/clothing shops and toys'r'us. I mean, it's great for them, but for other people who are not parents or young children, there's nothing much in this mall.
The other confusing part is where you go upstairs to the computer centre or furniture store. It seems like you are in an office building when you get up there, or actually, you feel like you're in a completely separate shopping mall.
It used to be quite busy up there but i think a lot of the business have changed, most people would rather go to wanchai computer centre than go to the one at windsor for some reason, probably because the selection there is getting smaller and smaller. read more
