The food here is mediocre and expensive for what you're getting. First, the fish cakes tasted like…read morecardboard. They were piteously thin and had a consistency that kinda reminded me of cardboard. Then, came the shrimp cakes. These tasted like tiny rubber tires. They did not taste like shrimp at all. Next, came the beef and chicken skewers aka satay. The beef was crappy beef tenderized with some chemical solution so it had that weird consistency that kinda reminded me of rubber. The chicken satay was decent. It's kinda hard to mess up chicken satay. The satay sauce was watery and lacked taste. Finally, the piece de resistance... is the shrimp pad thai. At least the shrimp was fresh and the pad thai tasted good. However, there's hardly any shrimp in it. I commented to the waitress, "Hey, how come there's only 2 shrimp in my pad thai?" The waitress replied, "No, you're wrong. There's actually 3 shrimp in the pad thai!" LOL!!! The shrimp here are so precious that they counted them! Oh, my lord! To top it off, it was expensive, too. I paid $400 HKD for lunch for 2 and it sucked. The only thing that was good here was the chilled coconut drink but it was overpriced at $40 HKD per drink. There are plenty of tasty seafood restaurants in Sai Kung, so I suggest that you take a pass on this one. P.S. I noticed while I was here that nobody else in this "Thai" restaurant ordered any Thai food. Everybody else ordered Hainan chicken and a chilled coconut drink. I did not try the Hainan chicken. However, another Yelper Cindy H did and reported that it was good. If you do dine here, be sure to order the Hainan chicken and chilled coconut drink.

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered two dishes that were recommended at the front of the menu; 鮮辣香茅蝦 Spicy Lemongrass Shrimp Starter - Texture as hard as wood but if you just eat the shrimp it tastes alright 泰式生蝦刺身 - Thai style Raw Shrimp (Goong Che Nam Pa) - Super spicy awesome shrimp shooter For our main meal; Grilled Pork Neck Meat - Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Thai Green Curry Chicken - Full of flavor and creamy. Mango Sticky Rice - Not too sweet, just perfect in every single way. (but old photos shows their portions got smaller)

We made reservations so we got a prime seat by the window with a view and our waiter was more than helpful with everything. The unique thing about this resturant is that you can pick your seafood before they prepare it the way you want. Everything is fresh and very large! The one shrimp and oysters we got were the size of flip flops. Everything was very tasty and I am in love with the curry crab. After you eat the crab, order some hot roti and clean the plate. It's amazing!
