I visited the Flying Pan for a quick breakfast before heading off to work, and first impressions…read morewere good- it's a small, but low-key place, and while the menus are a bit much to look at, the food was just right.
I went with an Eggs Guacamole and a mango juice and I thought it was all pretty awesome overall. The food isn't overly expensive, you get fairly generous portions, and they definitely don't skimp on your free sides. The potatoes were a tad dry and I probably wouldn't go with them the next time around, but their grits aren't half bad. Hollandaise sauce is thick, yet runny, and the eggs were poached perfectly. The guacamole was offered in generous portions, and the only thing that I could possibly say they weren't generous with, in terms of portion size was my juice. That's fine though.
I'll definitely be back to try a few other menu items.
