Once upon a time there, signs and construction began and a little "well known" coffee shop came to this side of the city. All the residents eagerly awaited for it to open. Daily social media postings kept all who watched over it in suspense and then bam! It finally opened! And all the residents rejoiced because they could finally function again! The End.
While I am late to this Starbucks party, apparently it's has been open for a few months but at least I got to try it today after being out of town for a while.
For those living nearby, it probably rates as 5 stars just because of convenience. Sadly, it doesn't offer as much (in terms of food or choices in my opinion) as compared to the two (larger) locations in CityGate. Maybe later on they will add more... or maybe not? It's still a nice option to have this on our side of the city.
Service was pleasant and efficient. The baristas had no problems getting our orders exactly how we like our coffee...Smooth and easy. A nice assortment of the standard coffee mugs are also for sale near the counter area as well as in several shelves which gives you something to study while your coffee is being made.
Accessible from two enterances- Century Link or from the sidewalk near the Visionary. Pretty much your average Starbucks. There's a decent amount of Small tables and chairs inside but more seating outside in the courtyard area and with the high humidity/hot summer upon us, I'm sure more customers will be sitting inside cooling off with the Aircon or taking orders to go. Either way, I can't really complain, this place is at least an option for helping us run on caffeine. read more
