They use Japanese Meiji milk which is always a plus in my book Second visit: This time around they had an intriguing blackboard sign with the words curry fishball and latte pairing. Sounds like an odd match which is exactly why I had to try it. Curry fish balls are a staple street food in Hong Kong and their version of this snack was really on point. The fish balls were nice and chewy and the texture had a good bite to it. The curry sauce was on the lighter side and not too spicy. The milk from the latte helped to cool down the kick from the fish balls but other than that this pairing is not something I will proactively do. I also had the more classic pairing of the Belgian waffle and black coffee. This time I had the Ethiopia guji. The coffee had a nice fruity was to it without any sourness or real acidity. I really enjoyed these beans and bought a bag to bring home. The Belgian waffle was tasty. The caramel sauce was not too sweet and the waffle batter had a nice richness to it. Only criticism is that the waffle wasn't as crispy as I would like.
