Recent new find of this Congee House specializing in Chicken Congee; their original shop started in Yuen Long, and this is their first shop on the Island. The interior of this location is bright and clean, tables are set apart with sufficient spaces between each other in Hong Kong standard.
Went there at around 9:00pm and it was not busy, the tables next to us already had their food served and they all looked good! I was surprised to see that they even have Steamed Whole Fish!!
Anyways, my intentions were to try their House Special: Chicken Congee , we also ordered several other dishes: Stir Fried Noodles with Ham ( I call it "Chinese Yaki Soba" ), Sampan Congee, and Roasted Squab.
My Chicken Congee arrived pipping hot in a clay pot, the look already entices you to dig in and once I did, I am happy I came here! The congee was cooked to perfection; smooth and flavourful, in fact was full of the rich chicken flavour! : 4/5

Sampan Congee is a typical style of congee made famous in Lai Wan, Canton. In Hong Kong it is also an old standby for most Congee Shops.
Consistes of various seafoods; sliced fresh fish, julienne of jelly fish, pork rind, lean port, peanuts and some slices lettuce, this congee is one of the top Cantonese Comfort Food! Their version captures the essence and well represents Southern China's way of cooking; not overwhelming with spices or flavours but letting the ingredients speak themselves in a well orchestrated symphony. 4/5
Roasted Squab @ HK$51.00! The quality is way above the price they charge! Meat is juicy, well seasoned, do not have a gamey taste. The skin is done just right with parts being crispy. I will be back for more!
