Stopped by this little tea restaurant near Kowloon for breakfast and was very happy with the food. The service was insanely efficient compared to any restaurant I've been to in the US, without five minutes of ordering, we were faced with two steaming plates of satay noodles and egg sandwiches.
The ying yang drink (milk tea and coffee) was milky, sweet, and flavorful. The satay beef noodles had the right amount of bite and the beef were smothered in a thick and flavorful satay sauce...even the soup was good! The eggs were cooked over easy and the buttered sandwiches were soft and fluffy. The ham were sliced paper thin and very smooth. It was sweet and had the right amount of salt.
I am glad we visited this place around 7:30am because by 8am, this place was packed with early risers and long time patrons. I am very happy with my first meal in Hong Kong. read more
