We took the long way back to our hotel after dinner (aka we were lost) and Google Maps guided us by this magical place. We were passively looking for a dessert place, so the crowd of people here definitely caught our eye. I initially didn't want anything here, but then I noticed one of the workers remove some freshly baked milk tarts right off the oven and onto the front display. This pleased the crowd of people and definitely intrigued my appetite.
I'm only in HK for 2 days, so I might as well try it. After taking that first bite... I wish I had extended my stay. The milk portion just melted in my mouth and put me in such a good mood (euphoria to the max). I thought that was the end of the story, but then I tried the crust. I don't think I should have done that, because that single handedly made all the pie crusts I've ever had inferior. Now I need freshly baked milk tarts in my life. read more
