Well a) its a petrol station there really isn't anything to remember and b) its one that I come to most frequently. The second one demands more elaboration, I have been coming to this station for some 12 years now and there is a good reason why I come here all the time: I reckon this is one of the best filling stations in town. Its convenient: Its situated in Prince Edward on Boundary Road- this is the main thoroughfare from West Kowloon to East Kowloon so you really can't miss it. Moreover, it is very well connected to road going northbound (Shatin) and southbound (TST) so you really can go anywhere from here. Its big: Hong Kong is a small place and filling stations can sometimes be one that's been carved into the side of a building complex. This one is a proper size one, with some 4 lanes of vehicles that could fill up simultaneously. It has a proper shop that sells everything from washer liquids to bags of rice so it will feed both you and the car. It has everything: You can take your time and pump up your tires here; plenty of space to do it too and there's a tap down the back so people come and wash their cars here. Need I say more?

Whilst this may be a common feature overseas, in a land where space is a premium this car wash certainly sets itself apart. Judging from the number of customers on a weekend you will see that they do their job well (note: it is not recommended that you go at the weekend as the queues are long and the quality does tend to suffer). The car wash for a saloon currently costs 138 which is a fair price given how labour intensive the process is- at one pointed I counted over 8 people working on a car. They also go above and beyond the car where they would clean not only the visible parts, but the panel gaps as well as doing some very rudimentary checks on water levels and tire pressure. They offer other cleaning and waxing services which again from past experience is well worth the money they charge (they are a little bit more expensive than their competitors). Maintenance wise they have a full workshop that will do both emergency repairs and routine maintenance. The staff are helpful and certainly better than what I have experienced elsewhere where most people simply try to fleece you to part away with as much cash as possible.

Conveniently located right next to Central D2 exit, it doesn't get any easier than this! I needed a…read morereally basic health check for my future employee and this was the cheapest I could find (compared nearly all the private hospitals and a couple other centres). But the convenience is a big plus for me too. It was easy to book online, but you have to make sure you have the code of the health check plan you want. They also don't have a price list with them but their website shows it clearly so don't expect them to confirm costs on the phone. Although when I asked what's the difference with basic and general, their incompetent receptionist could not answer me. I was able to make an appointment 3 days in advance for 11am on Saturday. They warned me it would be busy and would take 1.5 hours. Come Saturday 11am, the tiny lobby was packed and all the seats were taken (about 13~ people in lobby). They had me fill out a form after a 10 minute wait and asked me if my company was registered with them (you'll have to find out first yourself). Luckily I got a seat after 10 minutes 10 minutes because I had to wait about 45 minutes before they called my name. The first step of my general health check was blood pressure and bloodwork. Both went smoothly, however the lady taking the bloodwork was only wearing gloves on her right hand. Not sure if that's standard practice? I don't remember. After wards I was told to change into their robe and I left my belongings in the changing room lockers. It was about a 10 minute wait for the chest X-Ray (Make sure you're not on your period/no chance of being pregnant). Another 5 minute wait after, I was weighed and had my height taken. After giving in urine sample, I was done. When I was done (around 12:30pm) there was NO ONE in the waiting room, so it was probably their lunch. Compared to a previous diagnostic centres, this seemed slightly more efficient. They claim their reports are out in 7 days. I managed to schedule a weekend appointment with the doctor and the earliest date was Aug 1(2 weeks after). They also have many centres and you can schedule your report with a different one from your check I believe. *** Tip: Their doc/report appointments have no reminders. Book during lunch?! Weekdays for less people. Favourites: It seems a bit faster than other clinics I've been to? Meh: Their website is not very friendly. Their plans don't highlight differences. Last words:

That's where DCH actually differs. DCH is a trading group in HK with a huge motor division; they are the official importer for a number of brands with one of the biggest service centres. In the past they had sold their trade in vehicles through smaller dealerships but this practice has changed with the introduction of this Used Car Centre. These are all vehicles which have been either taken part-exchange or used by the DCH group, with that it comes with warranties that differs depending on the vehicle but it is their guarantee that matters. Their guarantee is that the vehicles have not been clocked and in anyway masked for problems- this is a breakthrough locally as in the past buying used always had its inherent dangers and nothing was ever guaranteed. The cars do vary in brands, so they stock not only the brands they deal with but other vehicles too. One of the apparent things that should hit you is that the cars have not been prepped in anyway, they sit there the way came in which depending on how you look at it may be a good thing or bad thing. The prices are also on the high side with no room for negotiation, but again you are buying a peace of mind that money can't buy else where. One major criticism with the place is that its a big place and its difficult to get to speak to someone if you are interested. Again, that may be a good thing in the sense that there is no one to bug you whilst you take your time. To sum up, if you are in the market for a second hand car you should go take a look here.

Parking in Kwun Tong had always been in easy and cheap in the past, but with the introduction of…read morenew office blocks this has become an ever more expensive affair. Day parking has long past the 100 dollar mark and its rare to find anywhere that will let you park from 8-6 for anything less; and even if they did chances are the parking lot will be small and dingy enough to turn you away. Wilsons Parking at MC6 bucks this trend as being one of the very few new buildings in this area that provides day parking for $95 (as of July 2014). The carpark is clean and well-kept with more space than you could wave a stick at- so you could park here even if you were ham fisted when it comes to parking. The only drawback is that on the second level you will have to park on split level "ramps" though they never actually park two cars one on top of another. Even if you do find a space without a ramp, chances are they have managed to cone off the space and make you park 4 cars into 3 spaces. Then again, if you do drive in Hong Kong then this should not come as much of a surprise nor much of a challenge. You should also be warned that you will need to drive into a lift to get upstairs though the lift itself is bigger than most apartments in Hong Kong so again it shouldn't be much of issue. MC6 is also close to a number of other new buildings in the area hence you may well consider to park here even if you weren't coming to MC6 itself.
