Enters Suzuki Solio! Its a "k" car in the Japanese Auto Category as it is like a micro car compare to most N. America standard, but it still sits 5 and has double sliding doors for easy access! With a high body, seniors are able to get in an out without any problem and with a good sized trunk, you can even put in a wheelchair after seating 5 adults! The sales persons here we dealt with are all very professional and super nice! As you can see from my photos, they also have a few more sporty models for younger crowds! Will attach more photos when my car is delivered! Keep posted!

I had called around the area for quotes and this was better with everyone else's plus a friend had his car fixed here before so I picked this one. They immediately knew where the problem was when I explained. He explained everything he was going to do and made sure I understood and agreed with. Honest, fast, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I appreciated that he didn't try to up sell and just said exactly whats needed to be done and nothing more. Its a family owned garage and their service was great, they came and picked up the car in the morning and returned it when I was going home after work. I didn't even need to get to their shop! I would recommend this family owned business as the place to go if you need to have some car fixing or service. Its an overdue review, so sorry for late review but better now then never.

Car washes in Hong Kong are usually quite pedantic compared to overseas ones- we are more careful…read moreabout what we put onto the car, how we dry it whether we wax it and in general I'd like to think that we take better care of our cars here. This place is a well established carwash chain that was probably the first ones to introduce automated car washing machines in Hong Kong. their name translates as "The Computer Carwash House" which tells you that they came in from a time when there weren't many of these places. They have done well to preserve their name and for that they have expanded themselves greatly all over Hong Kong. As with all chains though, there are better and worse ones. This one is a good one that I went to recently where, although they had what seemed like all the cars in Hong Kong coming at once, they were extremely helpful and telling you when to come back or how you could wait here. These are little things that count. Their shop front may not be the prettiest but I guess in this part of town and with little choice- you are stuck with them. I'm just glad that they are a good one.

This car park is one of the biggest in Tsuen Wan and most people park here if they come to…read moreDiscovery Park. There are a couple of factors that makes a good carpark: good access, wide spaces and good signage. This place doesn't do well in any of those factors despite the fact that this place only opened its doors around 15 years ago. The carpark is spread over some 4 levels with 1 level dedicated exclusively to monthly pass users whilst another level is now blocked off as a used car sales area. The monthly fees have been rumored to be exorbitant so much so that monthly owners have been scared away by and large; leaving this carpark largely under used. Further controversy was brought when the management company leased out the carpark as a used car sales area without permission from the Lands Department. The sales floor is quite small and it focuses on older and cheaper cars as opposed to the other used car centres in Hong Kong. The access to the carpark is through two chopstick narrow bridges which is counter-intuitive at best. On every level you will find that the first swaths of parking spaces are out of use because there simply isn't enough space for two lanes of traffic to pass. Signage is poor and you are always trying to find your way in and out of the place and the wait for elevators down is glacial at best.

A few days ago I was filling up here and I cast myself back thinking: when was the first time I…read morecame here to fill up? Fact is: I don't remember. Why? Well a) its a petrol station there really isn't anything to remember and b) its one that I come to most frequently. The second one demands more elaboration, I have been coming to this station for some 12 years now and there is a good reason why I come here all the time: I reckon this is one of the best filling stations in town. Its convenient: Its situated in Prince Edward on Boundary Road- this is the main thoroughfare from West Kowloon to East Kowloon so you really can't miss it. Moreover, it is very well connected to road going northbound (Shatin) and southbound (TST) so you really can go anywhere from here. Its big: Hong Kong is a small place and filling stations can sometimes be one that's been carved into the side of a building complex. This one is a proper size one, with some 4 lanes of vehicles that could fill up simultaneously. It has a proper shop that sells everything from washer liquids to bags of rice so it will feed both you and the car. It has everything: You can take your time and pump up your tires here; plenty of space to do it too and there's a tap down the back so people come and wash their cars here. Need I say more?

Cyclon car wash in Tsuen Wan is one of a rarity in Hong Kong: its both a car wash and full service…read moregarage at the same time. They may even organize your MOT testing for you. Whilst this may be a common feature overseas, in a land where space is a premium this car wash certainly sets itself apart. Judging from the number of customers on a weekend you will see that they do their job well (note: it is not recommended that you go at the weekend as the queues are long and the quality does tend to suffer). The car wash for a saloon currently costs 138 which is a fair price given how labour intensive the process is- at one pointed I counted over 8 people working on a car. They also go above and beyond the car where they would clean not only the visible parts, but the panel gaps as well as doing some very rudimentary checks on water levels and tire pressure. They offer other cleaning and waxing services which again from past experience is well worth the money they charge (they are a little bit more expensive than their competitors). Maintenance wise they have a full workshop that will do both emergency repairs and routine maintenance. The staff are helpful and certainly better than what I have experienced elsewhere where most people simply try to fleece you to part away with as much cash as possible.

The Japanese have a way with cleanliness- they seem to have this obsession with keeping everything…read morepristine; this seems to apply in every area of their lives including their cars. Keepree Pro is Japanese brand that was brought over to Hong Kong a couple of years ago, their marketing gimmick being that they offer a "no-touch" foam wash where by instead of strips of cloth turning on a roller, they have this huge foan sprayer that would "wash" or coat your car without so much as a fibre touching your car. This keeps it clean and avoid unintentional scratching by the rollers. Does it work? Hell yes. If there was a place to watch a car wash this would be the place. The shop floor isn't huge but in all honesty they keep it exceptionally clean, there is no clutter of any form in the working area and this is quite rare in Hong Kong. Moreover, they do stick to their world when it comes to giving the ultimate care not to scratch your vehicle, the foam system seems to work really well here. Judging from the other cars that were parked there waiting to be waxed (which by the way was also a miracle maker); this place must perform quite well. Aside from the machine itself, the meticulous attention they pay to every sill and corner in the vehicle is also a bonus point. Around 4 people work on your car in cleaning both the interior and drying the car. Brilliant. What are the downsides? Its not cheap- 180 HKD for a complete wash is on the high side but given the part of the town its in (middle of Wanchai) I am willing to pay the premium for the location. Apart form that, queues are often quite long and that means you either keep doing circles around the block to wait for them to take your car (they do run out of space to take your car on). If you are really into detailing your car then you might say you can do it yourself. But if you are in town and looking for a good clean wash of your car then look no further.
