I paid my first visit to Velvet Lush after the change of ownership and rebrand. I had a great time…read moreshopping. First off, the aesthetics alone are beautiful. The decor and layout really help to set the vibe and atmosphere. Second, the shop's playlist was one point -- the kind of music you listen to if you're ever home trying on clothes or when you're getting ready for a night out. Their selection is cool, trendy and fit better than I expected. I'm switching up my style this year so I tried on a few things I wouldn't normally try on and I loved seeing myself in something sexy and different and a little risqué even (not pictured ;)). The shop attendant made me feel welcome and comfortable and not pressured while shopping (which I really appreciate). I got a few trinkets for myself and will be back for more. I also look forward to shopping here for my styling & personal shopping clients for all the reasons listed above.

I loved the personalized experience offered by L'fay too. I was not the kind of bride that had tolerance for any of the big places with 30 brides running around and pushy attendants. This was much more my speed. I LOVED my gown, LOVED my alterations, and was made to feel so special about my big day. The hair accessory I got was the perfect addition to my look as well. The prices are not cheap, but the quality and attention to detail in every aspect was so worth it. They also offered me a military discount on my gown as my husband is active duty in the US Air Force. That was also very much appreciated! Thank you Patti and the other ladies of L'fay! This review is nearly a year overdue but I still so much appreciate all of you!!

Their pieces were unique and beautiful. We then proceeded to go around to all the shops in Edison. We didn't find the same quality except at Sajda, but those very 4x the price. So we went back to make an appt at Khajana for the next day but they said we had to do it online. So we made it online (there is a $35 charge for the appt). When we came to our appt, they didn't have it in the system and they weren't very welcoming at that point but we showed that we did pay so they helped us and we ended up buying 4 pieces. I think their selection is one of the best in Edison but they could have overall been more warmer and more friendly is my only feedback. I think they were more friendly once they knew we were buying but it would have been nice to be received that way from the start.

I walked into the store in need of a special dress for an event that evening. Note: I despise shopping. Despise it. I was filled with dread as I declared, "I hate shopping. I have no idea what will look good on me, but I need a dress." That was all it took. Immediately, I was given a dressing room and dresses were brought to me to try on. This was the best experience of my life in a clothing store. Not only did I find a dress that looked great on me, but they had a seamstress in the store to make the necessary alterations right then and there! I was able to wear this gorgeous dress for my event. I can't thank Pink Orchid enough. People were so kind and welcoming. I will most definitely shop here again.

We started the process around April where I sent Jessica some photos of the inspiration dress and she quickly recommended her Lilian White Satin Tulle Dress. My sister in law and I made an appointment for my 2 nieces where we enjoyed our time in the adorable Tutu Spoiled boutique. The girls had a blast trying on some veils and gowns and loved the "I said YES" photo op with the chalkboard sign following. The selected dresses came with the matching ivory bow and the girls looked beautiful in them walking down the aisle on our wedding day. My sister in law left that day with 2 additional dresses for the girls' dance recital and has been back again to purchase a communion dress. Jess is not only helpful and responsive to our requests but never rushed us during our appointment and helped to keep us within our budget for these precious pieces. Thank you Jess and Tutu Spoiled!
