I have had nothing but bad facials since moving to Spokane 2 yrs ago - but I think I've found my place! I received an excellent facial & peel from Megan. She is very enthusiastic about her work, and she DOES truly work! This is not the place to go if you want loads of pretty-smelling creams, low lighting, and yoga music. This is the place to go if you want a facial that is deep cleaning and makes a real difference in how you look. Although I'm on a budget, I don't mind paying $70 for a facial when it is that good. I also had lash tinting, brows, and a bikini wax with Megan. All went great. She did not charge me for the brow shaping as there was very little to do, I really appreciate that. I will be back. I've had eye lash extensions put on multiple times by different people/places, but Megan at Zuri is by far the best around. She customizes length and thickness based on your preferences, and she uses (what feels like) the minimal amount of glue. My eyes are never itchy or irritated, even immediately after, and I can't even tell they they are there. And, importantly, they last! I've had bad experiences with extensions in the past: once where I could feel the glue on each lash and they itched like crazy; once the lashes were too heavy to be supported my natural lash (so they pulled the natural ones out); and once where they just fell out because they talked me in to seeing an intern after they lost my appointment. Don't go just anywhere. The price is well worth it. Megan is great at what she does and such a sweetheart! If you are searching for good eye lashes extensions, look no further. read more

My complexion is quite fair. Things can go wrong real quick!! I have gone to a few other local places and not had the same results. I've recently come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for. And if you've been going to get your lashes done for $60, then you need a new full set every two weeks, I was done with that. I found Zuri Skin Spa last minute, and I'll never go anywhere else. Megan has 9+ years of experience, and it shows. I wasn't very impressed with this place. I had a recommendation for one of the Lash Artists and I previously had lashes. I let this lash artist know that I would like to be seen by her and asked her if she would like me to shed off my old lashes for new ones. She did want me to do that so I scheduled a month out to allow my lashes to regrow. When I got to the salon the door was locked, I was only 10 minutes early and I would have thought that she would be ready for me. She showed up and seemed like she was in a rush. I tried to make small talk with her but she seemed pre occupied. She told me to lay down on the table and then she barely looked at my lashes and told me I had bald spots and that my lashes weren't good enough for a full set. She then told me that if I paid $70 she would do a serum on me to make them grow and then I could come back to pay for a full set. I explained to her that I had already spent $140 on serum and had been using it every night. She told me that the brand I purchased didn't work and that hers was way better. I turned it down again and she told me I could schedule back in a few weeks and she would do a full set. I told her that I would let her know my schedule, she then proceeded to tell me that she booked me for three hours and due to me not getting lashes, she was going to charge me $25. I was very upset considering I showed early, her customer service was very bad and it's not my fault she did not want to do lashes on me. Just because I did not want to spend $70 on her serum did not mean I wasted her time. I explained to her that I gave my lashes over a month to regrow and she didn't care. I did my part and she did not go through with hers. She ended up charging me still. It was honestly a ripoff. I would not recommend her at all. I ended up getting a second opinion and my lashes are just fine. Just be careful if you want to try her because I ended up paying $25 just to sit there and get treated like crap. read more

I got a Brazilian wax at this so called "spa". Not only is it not a spa, (it's a room inside a room with a single esthetics bed) but the important thing is while Megan was waxing me she used the same stick dipping it in her wax pot from my privates over and over, back and forth. I was so disgusted. This means she is completly unsanitary and every moron knows disease spreads this way. God knows how many privates have been touched and then re-dipped into her waxing pot. I will never go here again and wouldn't recommend anyone else to. Not only did that happen but she was running 20 minutes late and was talking inappropriately to her current customer on her table. I went here for a Bikini wax since they had so many great reviews. The customer service was great and the space was beautiful. However the Bikini wax was horrible, she told me I might need to get a few strays at home but when I got home and looked at what she had done. Half the areas she waxed had hair still, I had to tweeze the rest my self, as well as I had horrible red bumps for a week and the hair was back within that same week. With previous waxes I've had done at home, i have no red bumps or left over hair and I don't have hair grow back for a moth or so. I'm sorry to say but for the price I paid, I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this place. read more
