Update on today, 5/31/25, related to the Owner's Google response: The person who responded pretty much focused solely on the fact that we came is at 5pm for a service for 4 people, but just asked initially that our son and daughter do the full service, but we would do only manicures. You could have just as easily said "no" though if you didn't want to service our family. That would have been okay. Even in the midst of the late time you continued to mention, you had no problem taking our full payment for four people plus 18% tip though??!! The other focus was on our daughter's disappointment with her service. Nothing at all about the hateful, stereotypical, vile statements being spoken in your native language--just that" our cameras have audio and did not hear that". Finally, the owner wrote that if we don't like their price chart (which I never even mentioned and is actually not posted) ..."Don't come back!" LOL...unbelievable... While we never planned on coming back, this just further proves my point about their ultimate unprofessionalism, especially if the actual salon owner wrote this kind of response. **************************************************************** Initial review is below: First, I'd like to say that I never thought I would be providing a one-star review for a business that over the years, I have truly enjoyed visiting. I am very sad as I write this. I've had multiple services at your location as well as brough my entire family here, both close as well as extended. All of the nail technicians, with the exception of one, have always been gracious and professional. Yesterday, however was quite different. The energy when we initially walked in was a bit tense. However, I dismissed it because it was coming from the particular technician that I mentioned earlier who just always seems in what I would call "a bad mood" and gives off terrible energy to clients as soon as they walk through the door. Early one, I just thought it was towards me, but I've noticed over the past year that this is something she does to everyone. It's off-putting but seems acceptable because she continues to exhibit this behavior consistently--at least each time I'm there. This technician though is not the reason for my review. I'd like to remind you that in this day and age, technology is KEY! It has not only changed the way we each live our lives but also the methods in which we communicate with one another and interact with the world around us. So, I just want to let you know that Google Translate was in full swing yesterday when the technician was performing a nail service for our daughter. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself as well as the person who was sitting next to you laughing at the foolishness you were saying. One thing you need to always remember is that what you believe is private, if you're in public---it's never private! EVER!! Because words have power AND meaning--especially those that are vile, stereotypical, disgusting and hateful, I will not repeat what you were saying in this review. With the current climate in our country, it would not be the best nor the most positive use of this platform. Plus, it may just be a random person who works there that does not understand yet that even if you're speaking in another language in an effort to disguise your disrespect, this is NOT and will never be okay! Nevertheless, had she told me this before we left, I would have certainly discussed it with you in that moment. She sent it to another family member though because both her father and I were there and she did not want it to cause any additional conversation. She only wanted to leave immediately and never return. We paid for service for four people with an 18% tip while never knowing that our daughter was being mistreated and it makes me sick to my stomach. Zura Nail Spa is a business that I have championed for years! When anyone asks me who has "the best nail spa in DeSoto County", your business has always been at the very top of my list. I finale found my new favorite Nail salon!! I've been searching for salons that do gel x nails, and this is it. Kimberly did my gel x she was amazing with the colors and design, application overall 10/10 . Nina did my pedicure and did a wonderful job as well. I'm very happy with my experience at Zura Nail Spa. Everything was clean and the furniture/decor was pretty and new. I went during a slow part of the day and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Everywhere I go to get my dip powder done, I always have painful sores all around my cuticles from the drill, but I did not have any today! 0 pain which is a huge win for me. I know each nail tech is different but I would 100% recommend this nail salon out of the options in Olive Branch. read more

I usually come here all the time because I consider this place to be clean and the service to be friendly. But sadly, this last time I went was my last time going. I came in to get my nails done for my wedding, I had a reservation and everything. I come in, and start my appointment off with an older women who seemed nice at first, but quickly proved that she was rude. I asked for a soft rounded almond shape and she gave me the most pointed talons ever, so I politely asked her to make them softer. She was noticeably upset about my retort, but continued. She filed for a while and then stopped and asked me again, and I told her once more that the shape was incorrect (very politely) she proceeds to THROW THE NAIL FILE AT ME FROM ACROSS THE TABLE and says "here you do it!" I was shocked. I even attempted to show her, but she kept talking to her co worker next to her and laughing. She got up and left at one point (and I would have too but I was in a bind, these nails were for my wedding). She came back and asked me if I had ever been there before, and I replied yes! Why would that matter? By the time I left my appointment I had tears in my eyes. I used to love coming here, but the older woman who had nail polish on her left pinky finger has ruined it for me. I'll never be back and I'll tell everyone that even suggests this nail salon about my experience. read more

This was my first time in a nail Solon in 2 yrs as I have been doing my own since the beginning of Covid and this place did not disappoint!! My mom and I went here for some mother-daughter bonding and they were great! I was able to make an appointment online and they sat us and started on our nails. Long soak off process as I had hard gel (acetone doesn't soak it off easy) and the lady (I forget her name-sorry) was gentle and took her time. I could keep going but I won't write a book tonight. They are great and worth it. I will be going back!!! read more
