Super One is one of those must have places. Like all good grocery stores this one is strictly food…read moreso your not off buying items like a new tv, or movie, or new clothes....nope this place is good. Super One often has great prices on produce, meat, and dairy. The wife and I love making salads and have growing kids who live off of cereal and milk, so those deals on milk our always good haha the service from the people who work here are great, they smile, they get to know you, and soon you can call them out by name when you see them. I believe my only complaint about this store like many others, they are forcing people to go to self check out because 1. They are too short handed, or 2. They are eliminating check out by their own staff, which in my opinion is wrong. The industries that are eliminating jobs from people so that people will check themselves may be the way of the future, but I enjoy the interaction between the staff and customers. It makes me come back to shop there. Other then that, Super One is a good place to shop, it's nice to know where most things are from being a frequent shopper, but if I didn't I know I can rely on the staff to help me find anything in the store. The ambiance is clean, always busy, and good deals are all around! Can't wait go back which I'm sure will be soon! The other thing I will mention quick about Walmart is that the employees up in the front seem to do alot of standing around. The last time I was there I spotted 5 in the self chekout area doing absolutely nothing. Wouldn't it be great if they could open cashier checkout line especially when all of the self check lines are full? They have a nice deli and many products that are made in house. I have recently become especially fond of the Bleu Cheese Salami that is made in house; that stuff is killer! Cashiers here are always friendly. The grocery store is always clean, well stocked and a popular pick for locals and tourists. Definitely oozes the small town and communal vibe. Postings at the entrance of the store are always fun to read and keep up with the latest happenings in town. I hope Ely Northland is around for a while because it is absolutely a staple in Ely's community.

I was hoping for actual help from the "coach" - or AT A MINIMUM to place an "out of order" sign so no more customers would be robbed. Refused to do so and agreed with me that he "did not care" if other customers were robbed. I said I was not shopping there again - he said in a snarly tone "I am sure we will see you here again".
