Auto service I got a flat tire and rep refused to fix it…read moresince all tires were getting bold. They changed all tires to new ones. I was ok with that. When I got back to my car Honda 2000 I noticed that the sign Tire low pressure was still on. I asked them to fix it. They said it will disappear after 20 minutes of driving. After two days of driving the sign was still on. I went back and the Manager offered help. He sat in my car with some book and some small equipment which he connected to the car. After 10 minutes I gave up. Obviously he didnt know how to eliminate the sign. I went home, open Youtube and got instructions how to calibrate it. It took me 10 seconds to fix it. I put Kombucha on my grocery list for up North weekend with the in-laws thinking it would never be…read morethere, lo and behold, yes, Kombucha! Mind you, Cook has a population of 570 people, but I guess we are not the only big city folks up here. After reading another review I decided to ask if they had salmon jerky. The guy was super sweet, he walked me to the meat department asked a couple people, no it's not in stock. But he told me they did their own smoked salmon so we looked for that but it was not going to be in stock until Wednesday. Bummer! The gentleman did ask if there's any other meats he could help me find and suggested some but I had my family waiting in the car so I had to go. Again bummer! At least I got my other Kombucha , it was five dollars but but I want to support businesses who support my sometimes quirky, New Age habits. I asked to use the bathroom and was directed to the back stock room, take a right. Small town at its best! I interacted with four employees and they were all super friendly, super sweet

Super One is one of those must have places. Like all good grocery stores this one is strictly food…read moreso your not off buying items like a new tv, or movie, or new clothes....nope this place is good. Super One often has great prices on produce, meat, and dairy. The wife and I love making salads and have growing kids who live off of cereal and milk, so those deals on milk our always good haha the service from the people who work here are great, they smile, they get to know you, and soon you can call them out by name when you see them. I believe my only complaint about this store like many others, they are forcing people to go to self check out because 1. They are too short handed, or 2. They are eliminating check out by their own staff, which in my opinion is wrong. The industries that are eliminating jobs from people so that people will check themselves may be the way of the future, but I enjoy the interaction between the staff and customers. It makes me come back to shop there. Other then that, Super One is a good place to shop, it's nice to know where most things are from being a frequent shopper, but if I didn't I know I can rely on the staff to help me find anything in the store. The ambiance is clean, always busy, and good deals are all around! Can't wait go back which I'm sure will be soon! They have an organic alcohol list as well as tea and coffee, baked goods and delicious full, hot meal options made with seasonal veggies. I'm glad I was on vacation here and limited to what I bought from the grocery section otherwise I could have spent way too much. I got delicious candies I couldn't pass up on-vegan ones I can't even find in the Cities! I stopped by again for lunch and was a little nervous about trying the sandwich of the day-the portobello. I've had these before and they are soggy but not this one! The mushroom was cut and cooked thin so it fit perfectly on bread with mayo and veggies. So insanely juicy but in a good way! Darn tasty and served with a side of veggie chips (dehydrated vegetables, not like veggie stix junk), a pickle, a slice of orange and a little bunch of grapes. I saved my grapes for last and offered them to my sister because I'm super picky about grapes and they looked soft... thank goodness I tried one before I gave them away-crisp and delicious! Definitely not just an added afterthought. The meal was so well put together and wholesome. I also tried a lemon tartlette-refreshing and tasty! I wish I had something like this near me (I probably do but Organic Roots just feels different and honest). My only qualm is the issue of stairs on entry. The clientele is older and many have troubles getting up and down (also not wheelchair accessible etc). Music could be updated as well. Many of the selection is laugh out loud funny (I think it is being worked on...it's charming!)
