I got a grin that the ice cream they offer was a small town company back home in Illinois. They serve, Prairie Farms. Which is based in, Carlinville, Illinois. It was nice to see that they support a farmer owned company. Front Porch does have a fabulous porch that almost wraps around the entire building. It is great for relaxing on a beautiful day. Our 1st visit, I ordered the seafood chowder and fried chicken dinner which were both phenomenal. Every spoonful of the chowder was filled with clams and fish. The portion size of the extra crispy fried chicken fed me for 2 nights. I left there so satisfied!
