I was visiting Cannon Beach from Portland for a few days back before Christmas and decided to hit the outlet mall in Seaside to do some Christmas shopping. I strolled in to Zumiez on Monday, December 18th and wished I hadn't. The staff looked me in the eyes and ignored me.... Not a hello or a nod, a complete blow off.... This comes during the busy shopping season mind you... I will never go back and you shouldn't waste your time. Management should take a hard look at the staff and/or retrain or fire! read more

Great staff that really seemed to love their jobs and were having fun. Blown away that I knew more about some of the tunes that they were bumping than they did. It feels pretty good to school the youngin's and keep them guessing sometimes. (wink) Decent sales and a great selection on everything from clothes, skate decks, accessories, hats, and shoes. Worst Zumiez I've ever been to. Employees didn't even acknowledge me the entire 20-30 minutes I was there. They were on their phones, shopping around for themselves, taking selfies, screaming to eachother from across the store ect. Didn't say hi to any of the customers there. The back of the store smelled like straight weed. Honestly the worst customer service I've ever seen. The employees looked annoyed to even be there. Even if I did find something, I still wouldn't have bought it because I couldn't justify it with that service. Get employees who actually care enough to say hello, and make the customer feel welcome. I get its an outlet store, but c'mon I've been to the Lincoln city Zumiez and they at least have their shit together. Will not be returning until I here the staff is fired. read more

Great store. Reasonable prices for their skateboards so you don't feel ripped off and they're always helping you to find what you need. Even though they're young and listen to angry music they have some of the best customer service I've experienced. read more

Watch out!!! We are locals and try to keep our money local too!!! I bought my husband a 30.00 tshirt for Valentines Day. He didn't try it on right away but when he did a week later it was too small. I looked high and low and couldn't find the receipt. But the stickers and tags from their store were attached. We thought no big deal since we didn't want our money back we just wanted a different size. Well we were sure wrong. Without a receipt we were told they would do nothing for us. I then asked to talk to the manager. The young, rude, and unprofessional kid checking me out said he was the manager and could do nothing. I then asked for the main office contact info he told me I would have to find that myself. I said is there anyone else I could speak with. His answer was yeah but he's out of town for a week. You can come back!! Yeah right I will never be back!! We aren't all tourists who leave town right after our purchase. Bad business all the way around!! They stole our money!! Oh and by the way even though they are in a outlet mall, they're not a outlet store!! You're paying full price!! Something else they don't tell you unless you ask!!! Nice huh:( read more

Came here with gf. She purchased a couple things. She was wrung up wrong and doing a return and repurchase took forever. Not surprising the kids at zumiez aren't the best at something. How lame has zumiez become though? They put an old dumpy couch in the center of the store in an attempt to be punk rock or butt rock or whatever. It has sharpie graffiti all over it. Meanwhile they sell t shirts at this"outlet store" for 40 bucks. That is so punk rock! Give me a break. read more

went to zumiez in seaside or this morning. the front door was unlocked so i walked in looking for a pair of shoes with my 2 year old in my arms . was looking for shoes for 5 mins before both employees even noticed i was there. told me to come back later. said really you open in 10 mins im just looking for a new pair of shoes walked here with my son. he laughed at me and told me to wait outside and he will let me in in 15 mins. I was like can i just look around? he said no go wait outside with your son and laughed about it. I FEEL LIKE YOUR STAFF WAS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ME AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO SHARE THIS WITH EVERY PARENT I KNOW. really upset that it was like that been shopping with you guys for over 10 years and buy stuff for my whole family. will think twice before i shop at your store again and will never go back to the one in seaside or ever again. read more
