If you are into old corpses following you around the store and staring at you without saying a word while you are trying to shop, then this store is for you! We saw some cute shirts from the window and decided to go in and check them out. This very, very old lady kept appearing literally a foot away from my daughter and I as we were trying to shop and would just stare and watch us. Never asked us if she could help us. I was so uncomfortable with her being on top of us, that I told my daughter to put back the $50 sweatshirt I was going to buy her. I mean, I was wearing a $200 North Face Jacket, my $175 Hooka shoes, and $400 coach purse. But this lady treated me as if I walked into her store with a trash bag on. This is such a fun boutique. I would say it's probably the best shopping in Seaside. They sell clothes predominantly, but also other random things like sandals, backpacks, hats, etc. The store is quite pricey, hence the four stars, but there are a lot of items there that you wouldn't find anywhere else. They have women's, men's, and children's clothes, as well as shoes. My daughter got the cutest flip flops and they were actually similarly priced to Amazon. read more

This is my mother-in-law's favorite store. She makes it a destination to shop here. Be prepared to pay a premium for things like sunglasses, beach towels or flip-flops. Wide, great selection. They even have a men's section, where I tried in some pretty sporty sunglasses for $13, any style. They also have great clothing, with well known brands and off-kilter brands alike. If you're looking for something functional or a beach keepsake, they will probably have it here. read more

Nice location (once construction is finished) on Broadway Street very close to the Seaside Promenade. But even though this location is larger, I prefer their other shop in Cannon Beach. For whatever reason, I usually find less items I'm interested in purchasing here. This is a solid choice for casual beachwear and they almost always have sales going on, especially during the winter months. read more

While my Darling Husband and myself were staying in Seaside, Oregon... I decided to buy a new Hoodie. I purchased one at Ter Har's... it has Birds printed on it. There is a Changing Room should you need it. There are Lots of items for sale on the Sales Counter by the Register if you are looking for a Gift for your niece. I like the Selection of Home Decor at this Ter Har's in Seaside, Oregon. Some of the Sayings are really Funny. This Ter Har's is Larger than the Store at Cannon Beach, Oregon as well. There are Plenty of Beach Towels for Sale should you find that you need one. They make Great Souvenirs. Occasionally, the a Random Sea Gull will try to Attack or Follow you down the Street when you leave Ter Har's... because it thinks you have Food for it. There is a Nice Restaurant where you can get Clam Chowder across the Street ... if Shopping makes you Hungry. read more

The one whose face is just too darn pretty to cover with a face mask even though her customers are required to wear one. The girl who is obviously far too cool to be working at some tourist shop in Seaside Oregon and should instead be kicking it at Coachella. I'm really very sorry that I inconvenienced you by coming in to your store - peasant that I am - in my hoodie and chucks and disturbed your blissful existence by asking a question. I had a dilemma given the time I was there the weather was forecast to rain then cloudy, etc. Then the sun came out (still windy & cold), but what I brought to wear wasn't going to work! Yikes! Given it was also a holiday crowded weekend (understatement when seeing the cars coming in), shopping was not going to be easy if I wanted to drive around. I was staying in the Seaside area so walking was "the" option and YELP helped me find Ter Har's. I was able to find a beachy top and sweater to go over it so I had the perfect outfit to wear (rather than look like Winter) for the beach wedding that afternoon (I had the skirt already; just needed to change the top look). I had a bunch of options to choose from. The additional plus is that what I bought, I'd wear again when I returned home. Prices were moderate and the ladies there were very helpful. Nice dressing rooms. And if I needed shoes, they had those as well. It was literally one stop shopping! Thank you for making me find the perfect outfit for a beach wedding that day! read more

Watching our every move, doesn't ask anyone how much items when going in fitting room but asking me and my husband. This is supper upsetting. My husband and I have been visiting the coast for over 40 yrs. We, of course, were apprehensive this year due to the COVID situation, but decided to make the journey anyway. I've always loved Ter Hars and spent $100s if not $1,000s of dollars there on unique gifts for friends and family over the years. Today I was rudely greeted by a young lady who literally frightened me when she yelled at me from across the room because my mask had dropped down under my nose. This was not intentional by me. I understand and respect the guidelines which keep us all safe. Had the young blond haired lady walked over and asked if I could wear my mask appropriately, instead of shouting across the room, I would have happily complied. Then, After embarrassing me, she smiled at her co-worker. This is inexcusable behavior. I love Ter Hars, but will think twice in the future about returning. read more

We were shopping at the souvenir shops all along the street that Ter Har's is on and were basically unimpressed with the cheap t-shirts and junk until we came to Ter Har's. They had really cute items and pretty good prices. (especially if you shopped the sale rack). I bought a cute sweatshirt here and I wasn't even planning on buying anything. read more

Love all the shops in Seaside but this one was a really pleasant surprise!! Quality is great! Many higher end/more well known brands plus some I hadn't heard of. Styles are amazing!! Prices are very reasonable. Store is very clean and well laid out. Great selection of sizes and best of all...you can actually leave the store with several matching outfits including shoes and accessories. How often do you find a perfect pair of pants then nope...nothing to match available at the same store? Not the case here! Employees are friendly and helpful. I bought a sweatshirt (made in USA) about 8 yrs ago at Ter Har's and when I returned I went there hoping to find the same company. Unfortunately TaylorMade had gone out of business but Ter Har's had plenty of other made in USA items to pick from...all good quality. Their selection is amazing. I visited both the Seaside and Cannon Beach locations. Seaside had more to choose from but they are essentially the same items. Try the YesICan brand and the EzzeWear brand. They also have Tom's shoes. I only wish they had a website that I could purchase from because I live 1000 miles away. read more
