    Such cute sandals

This is such a fun boutique. I would say it's probably the best shopping in Seaside. They sell clothes predominantly, but also other random things like sandals, backpacks, hats, etc. The store is quite pricey, hence the four stars, but there are a lot of items there that you wouldn't find anywhere else. They have women's, men's, and children's clothes, as well as shoes. My daughter got the cutest flip flops and they were actually similarly priced to Amazon.

    Super cute store

I bought a sweatshirt (made in USA) about 8 yrs ago at Ter Har's and when I returned I went there hoping to find the same company.

This local swimwear shop just keeps getting better and better! I've been shopping here since they…read morewere located further up Ne 42nd and was thrilled when they moved into a larger store in the Hollywood area, my old hood. There is plenty of free parking, the store is always well stocked across many categories, they have a sale area and even a $10 bin (if you are a size small or x-small, this bin is for you!) they have lots of retro suits that are gorgeous! Great customer service, meaning help finding you a suit to meet your personal needs, and fair prices. It's all that and more. As a person who swims an hour of laps a day and takes water aerobics 6 mornings a week, I am always on the hunt for quality swimsuits that are supportive and hold up to the daily grind that I give them. Poppina Swimwear is the place for all of my swimwear needs! My preference for lap swimming is a tankini top with swim tights and they have tankini tops in so many styles, patterns and colors. For water aerobics, I wear a swimsuit, and they have a good variety of chlorine resistant suits. They have a crinkly texture, usually come only in solid colors (black, blue, merlot) and aren't the "prettiest" but they last me 2+ years of daily use, about 7 hours in the chlorine pool every week! The store has several areas dedicated to different styles: bikinis, tankini, active, support and the suits come in all sizes, 00-32 (xs-3xl.) They also carry maternity and mastectomy suits. If you have a special need, they will make a custom suit since many of the suits are made in house. They have a bowl of fabric samples and will show you the styles that can be custom made. They have men's suits and accessories also! And a children's section. In addition to the huge inventory of swimsuits, all of the items you need to go along with your swimsuit are also available in abundance: * Fashionable coverups - dresses, tunics, sarongs, boho pants * Flip-flops, sandals, water shoes, even Locals brand flip flops (usually only find in Hawaii) * Sunscreen, sun lotions, lip balm, hair care, hair clips and ribbons * Hats, hats and more hats! * Totes, purses, towels, beach blankets * Sunglasses * Beachy jewelry- ankle bracelets, earrings, necklaces, bracelets * Floaties If all of this isn't incentive enough for you to run, don't walk, to Popina's, they have a full-on Tiki bar where they offer a complimentary glass of white wine, beer or water. Yes, you heard that right! PThe bar itself is gorgeous! Made of carved wood with all the natural grain highlighted, a thatched roof, totem poles, and other kitschy Hawaiian items. The tiki Bar is a great place for your husband or boyfriend or wife or friend to pass the time while you are shopping the store. When I stopped in today to check out the tankini tops, one of the sales ladies offered me a glass of wine and I immediately took her up on it! I had just finished my laps on a 90 degree day and a glass of chilled white wine sounded perect! It was! I saddled right up to the bar and enjoyed my adult beverage while I chilled out in prep for my shopping. Today I ended up with a pair of acrylic hoop earrings in the colors of the sea. Perfect match to the majority of my swimsuits since I favor those colors. Since I have a huge dresser drawer that is well stocked with swimsuits, there wasn't anything on this visit that shouted out "must have" but I enjoyed the time browsing, and of course, my glass of wine! Popinjay Swimwear is a regular on the list of stores that I visit several times a year. They always get new inventory and I'm always burning through swimwear. Match made in Heaven.

Sadly, Popina's is closing for retirement. The suits are excellent quality, made locally. The…read moreprices were comparable to Lands And so certainly reasonable. The young woman who helped me was sweet and helpful as can be. They will probably keep an online presence as they sell off their inventory.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!…read more After shopping $134 worth of boys clothing. This associate, SHYA put all the clothing in the bag like garbage. So as soon as I walked out the store, sat on the bench, folded the clothes nicely, and put them back in the bag. Then I noticed they charged me one item more. So I went back to the store and requested to double check the items since the receipt was showing 12 items and there's only 11 items in the bag. She went through the receipt and this time, this lady, named Allison, claimed to be the Store Manager, first thing she asked, "Did you give the shirt to your son to wear"? (this was in front of 3-4 customers in line). I was so surprised, since my son was not even with me when I was shopping, he was with his sister and Dad in another store. Then, I went back with him because he wanted to see what clothes I bought. Anyways, make it worst! I asked her, if this is the STANDARD "SOP" question they asked when they encounter this kind of issue. SHE SAID YES!!! We also asked this manager, Allison, don't you have a store camera? Why would you asked me such question without checking your camera? Then I double checked the receipt myself and found out, that SHYA "DOUBLE SCANNED" one of the shirt. So, I try to point this out to SHYA, she just brushed off and said, " I'm OFF the clock and can't talk to you". I thought she would at least look at the receipt, since it's her error. Then, she turned back to me and my husband and said, "IN THE FUTURE You should really double check". Hmm.. that's the first thing I asked when I went back to the store. And yet, your claiming manager, ALLISON, went through the receipt and asked me "if I stole the shirt"? After I paid $134 worth and you would ask me if I stole a $8 shirt? Because of ALLISONs' accusatory tone she made and directly pointed to my son, my husband asked to return all the items. And that's what I did. To sum it up, both these associates, did not even apologize for their mistake and their behavior! Surprisingly, we went to a store next door and an associate (I guess overheard me and my daughter talking) told us that she happen to have a lot of customers complained the same issue. That the associates in this Osh Kosh store, keeps making the same error, double scanning items.

I've pretty much had to replace all my son's clothing over the last month. Costco is the best for…read moreprice and quality, but this place was not bad at all. They have a large selection for kids... including husky, regular, and thin jeans. Also, they have some nice prices on pretty good shirts and jeans. I ended up buying 4 pairs of jeans, 4 shirts, and 6 pairs of socks for about $100. All of much higher quality than the Old Navy stuff he normally wears. Plus no sales tax, which is the bomb. The store is clean and the staff was very helpful for the (obviously) single dad who walked around with a dazed look on his face.
