Not exactly the easiest size to find in a pinch. Tonquin didn't have size 16 either-- but the super, super helpful guy working there understood our dilemma, and gave us a recommendation of where we COULD find a size 16, in exactly the type/brand of shoe we were looking for. He saved us from driving around all day to every Famous Footwear trying to find something that might work. So. Although I didn't end up buying anything at Tonquin, I was really impressed (and grateful!) by their "can't-get-it-at-Macy's-get-it-at-Gimbels" attitude, which saved our vacation. If I go back (and I loved the area...I'm already planning my next trip), I'd totally patronize Tonquin with my outdoorsy needs!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a whole wall of Crocs and even more surprised that I wear a size 3/4 as opposed to my normal 7/8. If only clothes were sized the same way! The woman who initially greeted me was very helpful and showed me the wall of Crocs and offered to get any sizes that I wasn't able to find. i ended up buying a swirly pattern pair that was on sale (and no tax makes it even better!). The woman who rang me up wasn't that helpful but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt regarding how long it took to ring me up. Maybe she was new. She did sign me up for their rewards program and since I'm not from Seaside, I like that I can order online and still get points. They were having a BWGW 1/2 off sale and I wasn't planning on buying a second pair but I guess I could have done with a package of socks at half price since the Crocs had a sign on them stating that they weren't allowed to sell another pair at half price. Anyway, I'm so glad I finally found a pair of crocs. They're really comfortable so far and will be great for wearing to and from my water aerobics class. Perhaps on my next visit, I'll purchase another pair or maybe another pair online. We stopped by the Seaside Factory Outlets because they were right on the way home, nice and convenient! This outlet mall is definitely smaller than others I've seen in Oregon, but it served its purpose for me as I had my eyes set on a few stores, and a few stores only - Carter's, Bath & Body Works, and Nike. What can I say, I'm basic. We ended up not checking out Nike because we had our 2 year old with us and the line was HUGE (due to COVID-19). Bath & Body Works was doing an awesome job of getting everybody in and out, providing waters and hand sanitizer, and even had bags already set up for people to place their future purchases inside to just take straight to the register and get rung up! And of course, we spent $100+ at Carter's. Another pleasant surprise at this outlet is the Wine & Beer Haus. Awesome service, great selection, and you can even enjoy a drink inside at the little countertop bar. Highly recommend going in if you've got the time. All in all, worth stopping by if you're nearby.

I am a Clatsop County resident, have a business license here, vote here and file my income taxes here. I showed her my home insurance bill and she gave me her NY attitude about it could be my rental. My dog has a veterenian here! He has had all his puppy shots over two months this spring at this veterinary. Why would it be my rental?! If a local veterinarian refers someone to pick up a spay and neuter certificate they are obviously going to know the person is a Clatsop County resident. Enough with the attitude!
