Its a beautiful marketed place as it is vegan. Having went there recently and tried the Weinnachten…read moreMenu, which you can only order 4 people or more, it was a BIG let down. Vorspeise: Pilzkraftbrühe mit frischer Petersilie - cold, raw mushrooms and no flavour other than a hint of soy sauce. Hauptgang: knusprige Seitan No-Gans | glaciertes Rotkraut | Kartoffelklöße | Bratenjus mit Backpflaumen | Preiselbeere - I basically ate it because it costed more than the usual money I spend eating out. Otherwise I would have not bothered. Dessert: Beschwipste Bratapfelcreme | knusprige Haselnüsse | Spekulatius. This was ok. I might consider buying it in the future. Save yourself the 32Euro and buy some treats in a Christmas Market. It is not worth it at all. Otherwise if you must support a vegan place, then order from the menu. It will be less painful on your wallet and worth it for your palette.

Our hosts at our Airbnb that is walking distance recommended Naturfreundehaus for our first dinner…read morein Germany. I love authentic German fare and this place is as authentic as it gets! Located in a residential neighborhood on a Neu Isenburg street the Naturfreundehaus host was as welcoming to my son and I as could be! Even though we provided a German greeting, it was obvious that we were out of town non- Deutschlanders! They provided English menus and a recommendation of a local pilsners which was quite tasty. Brody escalope pork with potatoes and I ordered the pork lion with onions and herb butter and added fried potatoes. Waiting patiently while I guzzle the tasty Pilsner..... While I was waiting, our host had an issue carrying someone else's food discretely stepped aside to prevent making a scene. I noticed this and jumped up to help and she provided me a se That meal was one of the most satisfying I have ever had! I can't say enough about the care and pride that produced that outstanding meal! The onions were caramelized and with the melted herb butter made for a tasty meal. The fried potatoes paired perfectly with the pork, onions, herb butter and green sauce from Brody's meal. Brody enjoyed his pork and potatoes also. He preferred the lemon better than the green sauce which left plenty for me! We both joined the clean plate club without a drop of tasty food remaining. I highly recommend Naturfreundehaus for anyone near Neu Isenburg around dinner time! ... I enjoyed my meal so much the night before I decided to come back a second night in a row. This round I decided to try the grilled chicken breast with garlic cream sauce and roasted potatoes. I added a small container of the green sauce that came with Brody's meal last night. Sipping on a Binding waiting for my meal....... The chicken was as good as the pork from my previous meal. The garlic cream and green sauce paired well together with the chicken and crispy fries. My son will be staying in the area and he will definitely be in to enjoy a meal with his teammates. Cheers!

This is a nice local restaurant located very close to our office that serves excellent German food…read moreand quite a variety of different dishes. Their food menu is quite extensive and you have a choice of different meat dishes, salads, vegetarian and local dishes. They have a fair bit of outdoor seating and the place was full when we arrived for lunch. They have a daily special and today was Schnitzeltag (Mondays). I had the Grune Sauße which is a local specialty in the Frankfurt area and mine came with boiled potatoes and pork shoulder that has been boiled and baked (at least I think it is). The whole dish was flavourful, herby and fragrant. It tasted divine and I finished every morsel on the plate :-)) Service here is friendly and helpful and they accommodated us even though they were busy and got us on our way quick. I would happily come here anyday for a meal and try most things on the menu :-) my colleagues loved their meals and come here often. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Compared to other local restaurants in this part of Dreieich, Stadtgeflüster has a welcoming feel…read moreand is a place you want to go to while also offering a nice assortment of food. I've been several times and each time has been a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is casual; in warmer months, they have picnic tables street-side that you can sit at; and, given that Germans are terrible at customer service, here you will find that staff offer great customer service. They do not offer an English menu so either bring some excellent language skills or be prepared to linguistically negotiate with your wait staff. In all cases, our waitress was mostly able to speak some English and had thoughtful recommendations. Most recently, I had some kind of baked potato with cheesy-goodness on top and mixed vegetables on the side. Prices are reasonable and they also have a decent selection of wines and beer. All in all, a nice sit-down restaurant that you're likely to have a pleasant experience with. Especially as Stadtgeflüster is certainly way ahead of many of the local run-down and dumpy restaurants.
