I got a cat-eye hard gel manicure from Keri, and they turned out absolutely stunning, the shift and depth in the light are incredible. You can tell she truly cares about the quality of her work and making sure you leave happy. If you are looking for a skilled professional who delivers amazing results, I recommend Keri very highly! He started measure gel x tips and I had to remind him we were doing acrylic. He should have said that he cannot do acrylic because, he cannot do acrylic. It was some of the worst acrylic application I have ever seen in my life. Sloppy, lazy, trash. I should have got up after seeing his acrylic application on my first hand. That's my fault. When he was done filing I asked if he could even out the nails because they were lumpy. He proceeded to make the shape even worse and still lumpy. I asked if I should wash my hands after filing (every shop I have ever gone to in my life has told me to) and he said no. I should have stopped him here too. It took him an hour and a half just to put the acrylic on. At this point I realized he was either talentless or purposely messy my nails up. So I skipped the nail art I asked for and asked just for plain gel polish on top. At the end I told the lady at the front that I hated my nails and showed her and she understood and told me I could come back and have someone else fix them. Initially I accepted the offer but I have since canceled the appointment. I would rather die than trust this shop ever again. If I could give Jay 0 stars I would. Beware, this guy is horrible.

I told her she was hurting me, and she laughed. Gel mani: took his time, but turned away to talk and cut my cuticle. I did love the thin French tip, but by Friday (2 days later), my gel polish started to chip and peel off. Gel french-mani plus gel pedi plus tip was about $90. NOT WORTH IT. here I am less than a week later and 4 of my nails look awful. WASTE OF MONEY.

There is no one better than Tammy because she loves what she does and always strives for excellence. She is an artist and is always down to try new designs. You have to make an appointment and she works out of her home but she is very flexible and accommodating. I started seeing Tammy about a year and a half ago and I have followed her wherever she goes since. Her current studio is super cozy and I love the fact that her services are one on one, that means no one else in the studio while you get your services. She also doesn't work with acrylic so there is no bad chemical smell to deal with which is something else I love. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family. Tammy has a great artistic sense and her attention to detail is what I love most about her nail artistry. She has helped me grow my nails out with gel overlay and my toes have never gotten as many compliments as they have after I started seeing her for pedis. The nail art Tammy creates is so fun. Like I said before, she is very talented and is a great collaborator whenever I have a hard time deciding on a design. Shes at her most creative when working without limitations but can also easily make an inspiration picture your very own special moment. I enjoy simple yet intricate designs that won't interfere with my mostly active lifestyle. I have made it to 4 weeks in between appointment when traveling but prefer to see her regularly after 2.5-3 weeks to avoid potential breakage since I grew my nails out. It's also super addicting to have gorgeous nails and toes so I try to be as consistent as possible. When I started seeing Tammy I had broken up with my regular manicurist of 5+ years. My nails would often break because of the poor care that my natural nails received, they were being overly filed, my fingers were overly soaked, overly cut cuticles, wrongly shaped nails that would break easily and I would walk away feeling unhappy more often than not towards the end. Tammy changed all that! Getting my nails done is a lovely self care routine now and I would be lost without it! Last thing I'll add is that I drive from Santa Monica to San Gabriel and I don't think twice about it because I value quality and attention to detail above the convenience of and uncertainty of going to a random salon down the street. Oh and one last thing... the charm, jewels, decals, chromes, glitters and shell selection is AMAZING!!!!!

I just wanted a plain pedicure and pink and white acrylic, which are services I booked on the website. Everyone who helped me seemed like they'd rather be doing something else. This was my first time here and I was hoping to find a new regular salon so I can have my self care days. My pedicure was just fine, I don't mind an upsell for the massage or callous remover here and there, but I just didn't have the time today. She was incredibly attentive with my cuticles and ingrowns, so I appreciate that very much. That's the only service I am giving stars to. For my nails, I wasn't asked what shape I wanted and when I asked for almond before he started filing, I was met with a sigh and tossing the nail file. My application was uneven, though it took almost 2 hours. There are air bubbles in my pink acrylic as well. My services took forever, I booked for 12:45 and finished at 3:10 for a regular pedicure and acrylic pink and white. The estimated times online are 35 minutes for a pedicure and 1 hour for full set, it was a Tuesday afternoon so the salon was not packed and busy as a weekend morning would be. I lost a majority of my day to waiting here and now do not have enough time to do all of my errands for the day. The prices are very competitive, but I would say the service received reflects that pricing. $25 for regular pedicure and $60 for pink and white acrylic. I think I would only return if I was desperate :(

I chose this salon expecting a professional experience. When a business advertises licensed…read moreprofessionals and charges premium prices, I expect professional-quality work. Unfortunately, this appointment fell well below that standard. I was originally quoted $80 for a Gel-X set, but once I arrived I was told there would be an additional $10 charge just to remove my existing Gel-X. From there, nearly every option came with another surcharge. Glitter was an additional charge, and placing the glitter at the base of the nail instead of the tip increased the price even further. The pricing structure felt confusing and constantly changing, making it difficult to know what the final cost would be. After hearing the additional charges, I decided against getting a new set and paid $45 for a manicure after the Gel-X removal. For $45, I expected my natural nails to leave looking polished and professionally finished. Instead, I left with: * Jagged, uneven nail edges that were not properly filed * Visible product residue still left on multiple nails * Uneven nail surfaces * Dry, unfinished cuticles * Nails that looked incomplete rather than professionally manicured I took photos immediately after leaving because I couldn't believe this was the finished result. The service itself was also disappointing. My technician, Annie, repeatedly stopped working on my nails to answer phone calls and attend to other matters. The appointment felt interrupted and rushed instead of relaxing. A manicure should feel calm and focused. This did not. The salon also raised concerns for me. The supply/storage area visible to customers was cluttered and disorganized, and I observed nail files being reused, which made me question the sanitation standards. Even checkout was frustrating. I wanted to leave a tip for the technician who performed my pedicure because she did a nice job, but the payment process made it difficult to direct the gratuity to the correct person. The biggest disappointment is that none of these issues should exist regardless of the price. Whether a manicure costs $25 or $45, customers should leave with nails that are smoothly filed, free of leftover product, and professionally finished. Those are basic expectations--not luxury extras. I left feeling disappointed, overcharged, and with nails that I could have filed more carefully at home myself. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.

I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment, but my service didn't begin until about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I understand that delays can happen, but there was very little communication about the wait. My nail tech was quiet, which I didn't mind at all. However, when I asked questions throughout my appointment, she either didn't respond or didn't acknowledge them, which made the experience feel uncomfortable. I originally wanted acrylic nails, but I was persuaded to get Gel-X instead because I was told they would last longer. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but after only one week, several of my nails are already lifting. For a $120 service, I expected much better quality and durability. At this point, they feel comparable to press-on nails. Overall, I'm disappointed because I spent a lot of money expecting a long-lasting, professional set, especially for a special occasion. I hope this feedback helps improve both the customer experience and the quality of the service.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and seated right away. The salon had cute decor, and while it wasn't overly busy, there were still a good number of customers inside. I was short on time, so I just wanted a simple gel manicure and hoped to be in and out. The nail technician who helped me was sweet and nice. I mentioned that I'd been standing outside in the sun waiting to get seated at One Piece Cafe, and she kindly offered me a bottle of water.
