Was a little skeptical because of the reviews on here. However I took into account that it was under new leadership and also the prices are really hard to beat. Availability was very open also. A little unfortunate that they are not frequented as much as they should be. Received a couples massage with my partner $39 each. Full body one hour. Two dollars to use your credit card and then you give the tip after massage. Ladies I suggest you wear a thong so that you may derobe and enjoy the experience. The masseuse will focus on your highest pain areas. Left a $20 tip but it is up to you. Will most definitely be a returning customer. read more

Very Pleased with the Service, my masseuses name was Aimee the professionalism I experienced, and staff was organized through, caring and delivered a great massage. their location was clean and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a relaxing massage. my experience was wonderfulderful read more

I'm amending my original review. Z's is under new management now & it appears to have turned into a shady rub-n-tug place. The last time I went in expecting my usual great massage I was coldly approached by a woman who said 'no time for you'. I said ok I'll come back. She had tons of make up on and bright red lipstick and lots of jewelry and a short blue dress on. Not what you would expect in a legitimate spa. She replied 'No one available today'. But yet there were three other scantily clad girls with tons of make up and jewelry on just standing around. I decided to Google Z's massage and found that they had been posting under Craigslist and posting pictures of half naked Asian girls. I hope this place gets shut down. read more

What started as a good massage became very lame. From the start the woman did not want to say her name... she bever did... someone explain to these women that it is just good education to intriduce youraelf. Then, at the middle of the massage she started to negotiate the tip... who does that? Worse she got all upset and wouldn't shut up yapping about God knows what. Very unpleasant and ZERO relaxing. My recommendation is to do something else for a living if you are not content... this place used to be the best!! read more

Where do I start. I went to Z's to get a 90 min massage and I only got 1hr and ten minutes before she started to clean my back and legs. I started to leave when she said WHAT NO TIP. I told her that I paid for a 90 min massage and she shorted me 20 mins but she was very persistent about a tip so I said fine and I gave her $25 and she said NO more. I was taken beck by her response and when I told her no more she told me to NEVER COME BACK THERE. LOL. I told her that that's fine I will not come back here. The massage was terrible anyway. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This is a place to go if you are looking for a happy ending. She didn't ask and grabbed my junk and got offended when I asked her to stop. Message was horrible, just light taps and light rub. They force you to pay up front. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Payed for a 30 minute massage and ended up being around 20. I was not asked any specifics about how I wanted the massage, areas to focus on, and how much pressure to use. At the end I was told that my tip was too low and kept on getting pressured to leave a bigger one. When I refused I was told that I was not allowed in the parlor again. Garbage place read more

I wanted a quick massage and I was in the area. $20 Reflexology massage, sure why not. I was asked to go into a room that had a few beds. Some Asian massage places ask you to remove your top so they could lather up your back however in this case they don't do that unless it's a full body massage. And for $20 I'm good with the massage I got. The front desk receptionist did not ask me if I wanted a male or female. She assumed I wanted a male. So whatever I was pressing on time. My feet sat in the hot bucket as he massaged me. I asked for it to be strong aka hard and he did just that. I was pleased with the pressure and to keep it like that throughout the whole massage I just had to tip him $20. In the room, I noticed that it was not as dark but he did put a towel on my eyes. The room wasn't the quietest however it also isn't noisy like other places I've been to. Overall, I would return here again. read more

I have not been here in a long time because I thought it had closed. It looks like they are under new management (sign says outside). This is the place to go for no frills. I went for the foot massage. You pay $20 cash walking in the door. You are then taken to a room where you soak your feet while they are working the pressure points on your head. They hit all the pressure points and some lymph node spots. I had gone there to have my stiff neck & shoulders worked on. Not only do I have my knots gone, my arms & hands feel much better (I sit behind a desk all day). I slept so well that I didn't hear my alarm this morning. I do have a massage therapist I see but if I can't get in or need to have minor work done in between - this place is well worth the $20. read more

SCAM! I went for a MASSAGE! What code name these people think that is?! I came with ol' lady and said they only had time for one! Ol' lady din mind but it made my antennas perk up real fast! The little "massage" lady led me down a dark dirty hall. She took me to a room and came back with fabreez and started spraying it all over the room! Hello! I'm in here!! I heard her talk in her native tongue something to the other little massage lady. I know she said it stank. But you don spray that all over like that. Come on now. Here where it turns. A little "massage" man slid in the dark door. I immediately jumped up and tested him on his knowledge. He spoke no English. I knew it. He took all this oil and poured it all over my back. Then again and again more oil all over. It was so much it was drizzling off mi back and all over the bed. I heard that shit dripping on the floor. No point n asking what the hell he be doing. He don no!!! He dug his palm in a little and the took that same squeeze bottle and poured MORE oil all over mi back!!!!!!! The room was so dark I couldn make eye contact. I kicked mi leg up like ENOUGH! He finally got the hint. Or did he. He left the room and I lay there. Be wondering what the hell is going on. Then another little lady came in. I saw her from the light in the hallway. She banged herself around the room tryna get to mi feet. She finally found them and barely rubbed them thangs! I growled to let her know I'm unhappy! But I think she took it as another sign becuz suddenly she start demanding $60 dolla!! $60!!! I say ain't no way this going down like this! I jumped up and grabbed mi clothes. HOWEVER I almost slip on all that damn oil! She ran after me I threw the amount I owed and hightelled it out of there! I do things on my own terms! Ain't no one ever gonna try me like that!!! This b ain't the one! Now I know that febreez shit probably something else! Count that! read more

Came in to get 2 foot massages for 19.99 each with my husband. She said okay that'll be 80.00. I said no I want the 60 minutes for 20 and she said they didn't have anyone to give the foot massages. This was frustrating because they had people to give us the more expensive massage but not the cheaper one. read more

This place is awful... she wanted a MINIMUM of 60 dollar tip! And as I was grabbing my belongings, she snatched my wallet and said I'll get it back when I make that payment (even though my card is inside my wallet). I refuse to cause a scene so I made the payment through Apple Pay on my phone. But bottom line is this business needs immediate shutdown! read more

This place is beyond TRASHY! all about getting tips and play around with the customers to get them in and bug them for tipping. The Star was at the open room for the foot massage. They have a hand written lousy sign saying " Tip is $10 minimum" and then had a massage from very unprofessional girl who apparently being pushed to do it probably because they were understaffed or booked. I found out she was the receptionist who collects payments and assigns which girl to go to which customer. The only thing I had from her is throwing oil on my body and asking me literally half dozen of times how much she would be tipped ? Or how much I usually tip the others ... I had to say it " can I have some rest and clam moments ?!" She would not even bother to shut her mouth. I left before my time is done because I felt very irritated.... and of course she had to bug me " you have to tip me" Will never return. read more

This place has changed ownership a few times so my experiences have been varied. There have been a couple of times where the masseuse left the room more than once during my service to have a conversation with another employee or to answer the door. Cultural differences or communication, either one, very distracting in a setting that's suppose to be relaxing. As for the prices, they are extremely reasonable at $40 for an hour full body message and $20 for an hour foot (they also do your body). They offer other services but those are the only ones I've experienced. As long as they are not busy, it's a great experience for a great price. My suggestion is to go when it's off peak. You'll avoid the possibilities of distractions and the parking lot will be less congested. read more

I went here even after A lot of "tough" female reviews on here. I went in and asked for a full body message; not too rough because I just wanted to relax. I was taken to nice room where a beautifully dressed lady gave me a head to toe message. I will return read more

I opened the door and the bells rang upon my entrance and they looked surprised. Not "hello" Not "welcome." I don't know why? It's a business that is open during business hours and what a shock! I want a massage at a massage parlor. I asked for foot massage and was turned away because the lady isn't working today. Even if it's not real reflexology; I don't care. But I was turned away after they scrambled around. Why turn away business on a Wednesday 30 minutes after opening hours. Take down your foot massage sign that is written in huge letters if you don't want to follow through on it. read more

Lady tried to give me a happy ending. It was gross. I walked out I told her I've got to go and she left the room and came back with a warm towel. I asked for a manager the next day but turns out she is the manager. She was the receptionist. No more massages for me. read more

Great massage. Was able to walk in without having an appointment. Best massage I've had in a long time. I will be going back. Reasonable price too! read more

This review is overdue. I used to love going to this place and would recommend friends all the time. However, I think it may be under new management and my experience the last 2 times was horrible. One incident was they told me that they did not have time for a foot massage and only had time for the more expensive massage...meaning purchase the more expensive massage or leave. I ended up going with the more expensive option and was not happy, didn't leave as relaxed as I have with the foot massage that I normally get. What really lead me to write this review is I saw the masseuse reusing towels that had been used on a previous client! So disgusting! Never again will I go there. read more

I'm a little on the fence about this place. I didn't really have a great reflexology treatment, and I know for a fact that they short changed me on my 1 hour massage. I'm familiar with reflexology not being the same as other massage technique so my expectations are never to compare it to anything else but that. So here it is.. A relatively small and clean spot tucked in the corner of a strip mall by McGreggor's. Nothing fancy or nicely decored at that, but also nothing bad to say about it either. As far as the massage, the first part of the experience was a bit poor, truthfully. After a few minutes into it, I asked her to please put extra pressure (I won't break lady..believe me.) yet it remained the same consistency and at times, felt that she was just not really putting any effort, and seemed to just be applying a slight rub and tug. I got there pretty much when they opened, so I'm doubtful she wasn't already exhausted from her day. There were also a few breaks where when she left the room, that it took much too long. The second part was when I had to flip over which concentrated on my back. That was a lot better. A lot. She used her elbow and the bottom of her palm to push in that pressure. I have major, major, maaajor knots throughout; I heard slight snaps and felt the heavy compression she was putting into it. I think it was easier for her since most of what was needed was for to put her weight into it as oppose to her hands doing the work. It hurt so good that the weak first half didn't seem to matter at that point. Now the question is, to return or not. You know that saying "It's not how it starts but how it ends" really may be what makes me come back. Plus for 20 bucks, that's a pretty cheap fix. read more

This place is as shady as it gets. Avoid this place at all costs. Don't understand why this place hasn't been shut down yet. No one in there speaks English. No one in there knows how to give a massage. Refused a happy ending 528262727 times to the point where I had to get up. Lady then proceeded to tell me that she needed a $60 tip - HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. JOKE. STAY AWAY. read more

Want to give zero stars but can't post without one. Run as fast as you can. Hubby went in for a 1 hour massage. They ran his card and he included tip before service. Half way through she asked him if he wanted a happy ending. He said no. She persisted he, thankfully, persisted saying no. She cut the massage short at 40 minutes and at the counter on the way out wanted him to change the tip to more than double what he originally had tipped. He argued with her that he did not even get full hour. He came home feeling dirty and stressed. We have been here before together so we did not think a thing of him going alone. Way sketch...don't do it if you are looking for a normal professional massage. read more

I came for a quick one hour back massage, which I thought was reasonable. I gave the lady 100$ and she later gave me my change when I was undressed and on the table. She set my 60$ on the counter. After my so so 1 hour back massage, I went to go grab my change, and before I could get it she grabbed it and gave me 20 and kept 40... I was shocked! I asked for her to give me my money so I could give her 20$ and I'd put the 40 away but she said no I'm so tired and I gave you a "good massage" I wasn't going to cause a scene or try and snatch my money from a woman, so I just left extremely pissed off. That was totally not ok! I wish I could give this place negative stars. UNACCEPTABLE read more

me and my husband went for a couples massage this past weekend. $80 per person for a hour. the ladies were super friendly and did an AMAZING job. it was my first full body massage and won't be my last! definitely will be returning and recommend anyone who needs a good massage to come here! 10/10 read more

This place is the best! Great price and great value! My good friend Shar Mia suggested I check this place out. I came in here after a severe episode of back tightness and pain. I called, but I don't think its necessary. I didn't specify what I wanted and they just brought me right back, sat me down, and put my feet in hot water. I don't get many massages, and this was a very new experience. Next, they layed me back and started working on my head and neck. Oh-lala I am very sensitve, and the pressure was a lot for me. But, everyone else would love it plus more. I really had a perfect experience! And for $20 an hour, that's my kind of price! This place isn't very popular and there has never been a wait that I noticed. I love that! I don't like waiting. Pro's: ~Very clean ~Modestly decorated ~Smelled nice ~Immediate service! ~No wait ~Excellent prices Con's: ~Parking can be a little tight because of Mc Gregor's, but I still got good parking ~If you are a salon buff, this might not be fancy enough for you read more

I've called early in the day because i noticed they were open to 11. They said they didn't have any available appts. I walked in another day a month or two later and asked for a foot massage. Z's Massage - Massage Near Me - San Diego, California

Would not come back. I came here for a massage because ive been having back pain for quite some time. The lady that gave me massage seems like didnt know what she's doing. I try to tell her where to focus but its hard to communicate with her. Towards the end she tried to gave me happy ending. I don't know her name but she looks like in her late 40s, long reddish hair and has big face and big jaw. The receptionist is also rude. read more

I went to try this place out since it's 10 minutes away from my work and its my bday gift for my co-worker. So we went right after work and got there few minutes before appointment. There are 2 things that made this experience a 1 Star. While waiting, me and my girlfriend were talking about work and didn't realize that we were talking loud. The lady at the front desk told us to be quiet and of course we did and apologized. But as soon as our masseuse came in the room while we were laying on the massage bed, #1 OUR MASSEUSE WONT STOP TALKING TO EACH OTHER. They would even yell at someone outside the room. The masseuse would normally go out of the room to get the wet towels 2x maximum but my masseuse in particular #2 WENT OUT OF THE ROOM MORE THAN TWICE AND FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. During the last part of my massage , my masseuse went out and was gone for awhile. And when she came back, she ended my massage at the same time as the other masseuse. I wasn't happy so I was not going to give a big tip but they told me at the counter while writing my tip on the receipt that tip should be at least $10. I didn't want to ruin the birthday of my friend so I just did it. I seldom write reviews....but this experience was so bad, I had to say something! $40 for one hour/person + mandatory $10 tip isn't cheap, so if you want quality massage and relaxing experience, please don't come here. read more

Been there several times, low prices and great service. Nice atmosphere and soft music. Tried different masseuses and Kuku is my favorite. Excellent location and easy parking. Don't bother going here. They have a large sign in the window that says $20 for 60min foot massage. I've called now at least a handful of times, different days of the week and at different times of the day. On the fence about this place. As the pricing is great the ambience is a lil awkward and creepy lol. I went at 8pm on a Saturday night. 2nd time here. The actually massage itself was mediocre... Not many techniques. My masseuse was a bit..... Odd. She kept complementing on how sexy my chonies & hair was. Okay, once is enough lol. Now, i am pretty sure the lady was getting a happy ending w/ her male masseuse in the room next to me. It was too much moaning & groaning from both of them...I know the massage didn't feel that good lol. Two stars for the price, open late til 11pm and no wait time. The room was clean as well. I don't know if I'll be back tho, doubt it. read more

Multiple bad experiences. First, they don't take reservations over the phone. But, if you think you can walk in, you're also mistaken. 2/19/17 Just walked in to get an hour foot message for 19.99 (like the sign in the front says.) When myself and my boyfriend walked in, she said "ok, that will be 80.00" I repeated that we only wanted a foot message. She then said they "didn't have time" to give us a foot message. I asked if they do not do the foot message anymore. She told me that they do, but they didn't have anyone to do it or in her words "no time." This made me angry because they had time to take 80 dollars from me but couldn't do two foot message. Also, I've been here many times in the past and they do rip you off on tips. They have made me feel very uncomfortable many times before. Will NOT be coming back. Previous experience. Use to come all the time about three years ago. I agree there must be new management. One time I left feeling more stressed then when I came in. The man hurt me so much after I kept telling him I like it soft. They now always seem to rip me off for tips. Hello Z's, tips are defined as "a sum of money given to someone as a reward for their services." So you do not get to pick your tip! read more
