Pizza was delicious! Service was friendly, I came with kids and they had a Pac-Man electric game machine! Kids loved it here, music vibes were good. It's open till 2 am

14" Large Tuscan Mushroom (vegan with vegan sausage)
Tamara E.

After doing some grocery shopping nearby, hubby was craving pizza so we decide to check this restaurant out. Upon arriving, we liked the bright restaurant colors, large television, and laid back vibe of the staff. After briefly y looking at he in store menu, I decided to order a large vegan Tuscan mushroom with vegan sausage and hubby ordered a large cheese pizza with lots of olives. Our pizzas arrived quickly and the vegan cheese they used on my pizza melted so well, I questioned whether there had been a mistake until my hubby's pizza arrived and I realized my pizza was definitely vegan. The toppings on the vegan Tuscan mushroom were phenomenal and I especially liked the uses of three different types of mushrooms (cremini, shiitake, and button mushrooms) as well as the oil used to top the pizza. Hubby said his pizza was perfectly cooked and had the right balance of toppings. As we both took leftovers home with us (a large pizza has eight slices,) we both agreed to make this a visit restaurant the next time we're in the area since we were able to get both our shopping and pizza needs met in one location.

scammers! they sold me zpizza gift cards in this location for then tell me they changed the payment system and it doesn't read the gift cards anymore! they completely ignored the complaint on better business bureau, no response at all! you better go where honesty is the first ingredient on the list!

Corner of Brookhurst & Adams in the Whole Foods plaza. Crispy delicious thin crust. Bogo happy hour specials M-F (on certain slices). Rewards program. Clean shop. Nice workers. I don't eat Gluten free but they advertise that they have it so come and try them out.

Pepperoni and Napoli slices for the BoGo Happy Hour Special from Mon-Wed 2-5pm
Vi T.

Stopped in when I saw their window sign for Happy Hours on Monday to Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm for a BoGo Pizza slices. Ordered the pepperoni slice and Napoli slice (tomatoes, basil, parmesan cheese). It came out to be about 5 dollars. Good deal and will be back to try their other options next time.

Pizza that made me sick. Was very bland too.

I tried the pizza for the first time by ordering on GrubHub. They were open late and I had a late night craving so decided to try them out. I am now dealing with severe food poisoning. I have a flight to catch early morning tomorrow and I don't even have the energy to pack. If I had been smart and read the reviews I would've seen another commenter saying their wife got sick twice from the pizza. I feel so dumb. The pizza wasn't even good or worth it it was very bland. Now I'm dealing with the repercussions of food poisoning and possibly going to miss a very expensive flight. I do not recommend eating any food from here.

Vegan sweet & spicy pineapple pizza.

Holy yum and huzzah. If you have dietary restrictions, Zpizza will not kill you...nor will it infringe upon whatever allergies you may endure. I've ordered the Sweet & Spicy Pineapple Vegan Large (with fresh basil, cilantro, oregano, and thyme), as well as the California Salad (with balsamic vinaigrette) multiple times for delivery. Not ONCE has my order been contaminated. If you want guaranteed deliciousness, as well as a place that respects your needs, Zpizza has both your back and your stomach.

What kind of vegan cheese do you use? It is amazing! The way it melts almost feels like it's regular cheese?

With vegan and gluten-free options available, the menu is thoughtfully accommodating to a range of dietary needs. **Chocolate Frosted Croissant Donut: 2/5** Unfortunately, the croissant donut lacked the crisp, flaky exterior I was expecting. The edges were surprisingly soft, giving it a texture reminiscent of a day-old croissant. The chocolate frosting itself was smooth with a cocoa-forward richness, but even that wasn't enough to make up for the lackluster pastry. **Mochi Donuts: 3/5** The mochi donuts had a pleasantly chewy texture, though the flavors were somewhat hit or miss. The mango-lychee was the standout, with bright tropical notes, while the strawberry cream had an artificial, candy-like taste. The oreo crumble was fairly average, with cookie crumbs that had lost their crunch and tasted somewhat stale. **Maple Frosted French Cruller: 2.5/5** The French cruller was slightly dense and dry, lacking the light, airy texture characteristic of this style of donut. A coating of maple glaze added a buttery sweetness with caramel-like undertones, but it couldn't quite compensate for its shortcomings. Overall, The Donuttery fell short in both flavor and execution, with nothing we tried leaving much of an impression or giving me much reason to return.

This mother-and-daughter operation has a warmth you simply can't manufacture. The mother personally came over to greet us, the ambiance was impeccable, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. We had the shrimp curry, beet salad, French onion soup, short rib, scallops with mushroom risotto, and raspberry cheesecake, and everything was phenomenal. After finishing the shrimp curry, we still had some of the incredible sauce left, so our waiter suggested a half order of garlic bread to soak it up. Absolutely fantastic and exactly the kind of thoughtful recommendation that defined the service. Even the things I initially thought I wanted differently turned out to be perfect as served. I wished the French onion soup had more cheese until I discovered it at the bottom and realized the proportion was perfect for the flavor. Even the filtered water may genuinely be the best I've ever had at a restaurant, and our glasses never went empty. They also boxed our leftovers for us, another small detail that showed the level of care throughout the night. I'm honestly surprised Heirloom hasn't made the Michelin Guide. The service was on par with many Michelin-recognized restaurants I've visited, but with a warmth and personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. They comped a raspberry cheesecake for the birthday, and it was so incredible that we ordered another slice to take home. They surprised us by comping that one too! Exceptional food, impeccable ambiance, genuinely thoughtful service, and hospitality with real heart. Don't miss this place.

They're known for their French onion soup and it was good, but I definitely wouldn't call it the best I've ever had. That said, it was probably two hours after we sat down by the time we actually got our soups , so maybe we were just really hungry by then haha. For our mains, we did the short rib, pork chop, and filet. Everything was delicious, but the filet was hands down the standout for me. The pork chop is wet aged, so it can look a little pink even when properly cooked, which threw one of my dining companions off a bit, but it was still good. Unfortunately, the experience was a different story. We had a 6:30 reservation and didn't leave until 9:45. We waited about an hour just for our appetizers, and shortly before they arrived, we were told they were down a cook and to expect delays. A three hour and fifteen minute meal for two and a half courses is just crazy. My biggest issue was the lack of communication. I wish we had been told when/before we were seated that the kitchen was significantly delayed so we could decide whether we wanted to stay or make other plans. Instead, we were already well into the experience before we got that information. The AC also wasn't great. It wasn't unbearable, but it was definitely uncomfortable, especially during Southern California's heat wave. I'm not sure if the AC just isn't very strong or if there was an issue that night, but sitting there for more than three hours while already feeling warm definitely didn't help. Then, right before our mains finally came out, we were offered complimentary half glasses of wine as an apology. Two of us declined, and one of my dining companions actually requested a completely different drink, but the wine was still brought to the table anyway (never received the requested drink either). If we've already said no, please don't bring it anyway. And honestly, after waiting that long, you need the full glass haha. At that point, I would have much rather been offered a complimentary dessert or something that actually addressed the three hour wait. The owner did come by twice and was very nice, and we were genuinely trying to be understanding of the situation. I just think there could have been more communication and a more meaningful effort to make up for the experience. Dessert didn't really redeem things either. We tried the crème brûlée and banana bread dessert, and neither would make my list to order again. The crème brûlée seemed overcooked and the banana bread dessert just didn't do much for us. So where does that leave me? The food is good, and there are definitely dishes I'd order again, especially the filet. But good food can only make up for so much when you spend more than three hours at the table, especially when you're hot and waiting most of that time. I'd be willing to give Heirloom another shot, but not before we get some cooler weather and I can confirm they've actually hired a second chef to help keep things moving at a more reasonable pace. If those things are sorted out, I'd be interested in seeing what the experience is like when everything is running the way it should.

Don't forget to bring the ticket with you. After that, I stayed maybe around 45 minutes over and paid $8 in parking fees. There's a self-pay kiosk next to the escalator. We came on a Saturday around 11 AM for brunch. My friend made reservations for our group through OpenTable. There were five of us and we were seated at a small table away from the window. We knew we would be ordering several dishes to share and needed extra space. We requested to be seated at the larger table next to the window, which was available. Our server contacted the manager and he was able to accommodate our request. That was wonderful. While we were there, the other side of the restaurant was barely in use. Two dining areas are divided by floor to ceiling glass doors or walls. Our group had different preferences for drinks, which included bloody Mary, strawberry basil mule, and guava margarita. I had the mule cocktail and I was not a big fan. It was rather plain and watered down and I didn't really taste any strawberry, but I did like the basil essence in the drink. We ordered all types of dishes to share, including the pretzel bread board bites, which came with three different dipping sauces. This was pretty good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. I read another review which raved about the chicken wings and the seasoning, but my friends and I did not like it that much. It was overly salted. The artichoke hearts were pretty good and creamy and came with a good lemon garlic aioli sauce. The Manhattan style clam chowder was enjoyed by a couple of my friends. It had chunks of tomatoes and a strong seafood based broth. We also got the steamed clams in a white wine broth which came with one piece of toasted buttered bread to soak up the broth. The brussels sprouts with pancetta bits and sliced almonds was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of crunch. We also ordered the Brant breakfast sandwich, which was hearty and yummy. The seared ahi salad was a was a healthy choice with Napa cabbage slaw and a honey sesame vinaigrette. This was just ok. Perhaps the vinaigrette needed a bit more seasoning. The server was not that friendly but she was efficient enough and took away the dishes when needed. Overall, we were pleased with the food and the beautiful views, even though it was a cloudy overcast day. Looking forward to returning with other family and friends.
