I was in the area and came across Jayden's Donuts. After looking at the beignet photos from Yelp, I decided to give it a try. I got 1/2 dozen donut holes $1.50 and an order of 4 beignets $6, which are made fresh to order. I was excited to try the beignets since there are not a lot of places that offer it. Unfortunately, the beignets were flat and tasted more like fried dough. They were crispy but dense- 1.5 stars. The donut holes were fresh, but not chewy- 2 stars. They also have mochi donuts, specialty donuts, smoothies, breakfast and lunch bagels and croissants, and even juices. I would like to come back to try the smoothies, juices, and croissants. The cashier was welcoming and friendly, and the shop was very clean. There are several tables inside where you can sit and enjoy your food.
In the area and looking for donuts. Jayden donuts were pretty good, but nothing special. The usual flavors and some specialty donuts that are made-to-order, like the Guava Cream Cheese. Selected a Cinnamon Roll, Guava Cream cheese, Blueberry Raised, and a Passion Fruit Mochi . Each of the donuts came with a single donut hole as a bonus! The coffee was great, and the customer service was excellent! Mello vibe, with seating for 10 patrons.
Very friendly staff and an enjoyable location! The donuts were excellent and they have everything from traditional to exotic donuts. You're going to have a great time if you have time to stop by!
I've stopped by here a few times on the way to work, and we've had great experiences every time! The girl behind the counter is so friendly and cheery, even at 6 in the morning LOL. What we've tried: Glazed twist donut: Soooo soft and yummy! Tasted super fresh Passionfruit mochi donut: Love the passionfruit flavor and the mochi donut was perfectly chewy! The passionfruit glaze was also not too sweet :) Lemon jelly donut: Perfect balance between tart and sweet for the lemon jelly. Also, they are super generous with the lemon jelly here, so I had to scrape some out because it was too much for me, haha Ham and cheese + jalapeno croissant: So good! And still warm when we got it as well :) We had also gotten one other savory croissant during our first visit, and the girl put it in the air fryer to warm it up for us :) Hot coffee: Their coffee here is surprisingly really good, no bitter aftertaste! Overall, we've been impressed and satisfied with the selection and quality of the donuts/croissants, as well as with the customer service. Definitely one of my favorite donut shops now :)
Stopped by before work and they made me 2 dozen fresh beignets!!! Wow! My coworkers were thrilled and they were gone within 30 minutes. The wait was a little longer, but the nice gentleman assisting me told me to call ahead next time and he will get them started. Overall was an excellent experience and we look forward to try all the specialty options they have!
Small casual place with a few tables there to eat freshly made beignets. Friendly lady working in the front. Prompt service. I love their beignets. It's my favorite place to get them so far! Crispy texture and perfectly hollow inside. So good! We had a couple of their donuts, and they were pretty good! My family and I will definitely go back for the beignets!
I like the fresh beignets! in my opinion they're not like authentic beignets but they're fresh and a good price! Super soft with little crunch. I also got a creme brunette donut which was OK, I'm sure they're better fresh but it had no crunch and was a little dry.
This place deserves all their stars! Great service, beignets were made fresh to order and so delicious, cafe type of ambience and warm friendly service!
Pistachio donut: 4/5, has that eye-catching green icing with both whole and crumbled shelled pistachios. A bit too sweet for a nut-centric flavor, but luckily the donut dough itself is not sweet, helping it balance out the sugary topping. Coffee Bean donut: 5/5, very yummy! They nailed the coffee essence in the icing, dough, and presentation. Didn't seem as sweet compared to Pistachio, which was nice. I also liked the old-fashioned texture of this dough better. The coffee bean topping gave it a solid crunch. Vietnamese coffee: 4/5, it's a super strong Viet coffee! They're stored in a display case, priced at $5. It wasn't filled to the top after ice went in, so I added milk at home to make it creamier. One of those aesthetically-pleasing donuts will run you somewhere between $3-$6. They're specialty donuts that are worth a visit. The beignets and lattes also seem like they'd be enjoyable treats, so I'll definitely try those out next time. Parking lot is small, but we got lucky as a spot opened up when we pulled in. Limited seating inside, but at least the interior was bright, clean, and adorably decorated. The lady working there was friendly and patient even with the flow of customers. There were samples of some popular donuts, and they offer free hot or iced coffee with any order.
You can't go wrong with assorted donuts! These were soft and tasted fresh. I like a mix of glazed and sprinkled ones to mix it up throughout the day.
Really good service! The girls were so so sweet! The special donuts average around $5. I don't recommend maple bacon because the bacon was chewy and felt stale. LOVED the OREO and the STRAWBERRY FILLED ones! Between the cookie butter and glazed, I'd go for either and not both because they taste very similar. I got tattooed a few days ago and I needed a coffee of some form of caffeine so my wife walked over and picked up a Thai tea for me and it was delicious. I saw online they had beignets and reviews say they are amazing so I'll be back in a few weeks when I'm due for another tattoo!
I just had my nails done n saw this new donuts shop so I went in. The owners were so friendly and nice I decided to buy a few donuts. I was really in the hurry as I'm packing for Tokyo but decided to help him out. I bought 3 donuts $2 a piece, the best one was the crullers great taste ! The old fashioned n glazed were too doughy but I think it was From sitting there since 4am when they opened! I'll have to come back when I come back from my long cruise to try them fresh. They gave me a free donut w strawberry n crème inside as a Mother's Day gift, that was nice. I love beignets but they were closing n I wanted to go to the gym. I rate 4,stars as a forward looking rating as it might be a one off if the donuts were doughy. The free donut was good, you can compare those the Portuguese Padera donut priced at $3.75. There are 3 donut shops in 3 blocks! They priced their donuts from $1.25 to $1.75 at Winchell so it might be "food for thought " I want them to thrive n I'll suggest them claiming the business w YELP or else who will know where they are, competition is fierce here. Yelp boss, pl choose a different picture as the front page, donut. picture t look more attractive tyvm.

I was craving donuts and found Jayden's Donut on Yelp and glad I tried it. Upon walking into the store you get greeted by the delicious freshly made donuts smell. The space is clean, organized and spacious. They offer a variety of donuts and fresh beignets and drinks. I got the blueberry, maple bar, double chocolate and chocolate bar donuts. Everything was delicious, the donuts were airy, bouncy and fresh. The blueberry wasn't too sweet. The man who was there was friendly. I highly recommend this donut shop. read more
Customer service was friendly and fast, and our food came out quickly. The croissant sandwich was really good and fresh. I didn't try any of the donuts, but they looked amazing with so many unique flavors and colorful toppings, they definitely caught my eye. The only downside was the beignets. They weren't as good as I expected, and the oil tasted and smelled like it had been used for a while, which took away from the experience. Overall, it was a good visit. I'd come back for the sandwiches or maybe to finally try the donuts, but I would skip the beignets. read more

What a great new bake shop! We stopped by to get a snack and goodies for a bunch of nurses caring for my uncle at the hospital. We ordered a dozen beignets and a few mochi donuts and a Vietnamese ice coffee. The staff greeted us with a friendly smile, offered several different samples. The place was well decorated, clean and organized. I got the passion fruit mochi donuts and it was fantastic! It was chewy and full of flavor and yet not too sweet. My husband got an ube mochi donuts and it was also delicious. My parents tried a beignet and it was still warm out of the fryer. They said "it's as good as the ones in Louisiana!" . Of course we used to live in Louisiana so they're beignets experts ;) Overall great new mom and pop doughnut shop with a great variety of goods! The ice coffee was excellent as well! read more

I took my mom and cousin Derrick here for Beignets and these are hot and "pillowy" soft! This will be my go to place from now on!! You can call ahead too. Linda and Wonta are super nice and attractive. The store was clean and organized. The music was great. I get to enjoy my dessert and sing along to the songs with lyrics on screen! read more

Great donuts and bfast/lunch sandwiches. The donuts are really good. The sandwiches are all made fresh to order and are very filling. I love the fresh squeeze OJ that they made for me. Every time I've order a breakfast sandwich they always give me 4 donut holes for free. The 3 people (owners) that I've met that works here are all very friendly. Since this is near my work and they open at 4am, it'll be my go to place for donuts/bfast sandwiches. read more
Donuts look similar to ones you find at Sidecar and Oliboli, but not as sweet, which is how I prefer it. Tried Passion Fruit, Blueberry, Strawberry Lemon, and Creme Brûlée. Donuts weren't warm but still tasted fresh without tasting oily. They all tasted good but my favorite is Creme Brûlée. It was rich but not too sweet. Service was friendly, and the employee reminded me to check in on Yelp for 35% discount. Most of the donuts seem to be in $4.50 price range, which is similar to Sidecar, so the current Yelp check-in offer is very helpful. Not much to look at in terms of decor. It has a rather plain donut shop look, and it's in a somewhat sketchy looking strip mall. Parking wasn't an issue at the time of my visit because I got here before lunch time, but I can see it getting packed during lunch hour. read more

First time at Jayden's donuts and I will be coming back. We got a blueberry donut, strawberry donut, beignets, and an egg, cheese, ham sandwich! First of, the strawberry donut was amazing. I think they use the beignet dough for it so it was really fluffy and not overly sweet. I love the freshness from the strawberries. My partner got the blueberry donut and he liked it a lot. The dough was pillowy, melt in your mouth and the flavor was berry forward. The sandwich and beignets were amazing as well. It really hit the spot for a savory and sweet treat. The staff were very friendly and gave us some free donut holes. I will definitely be back to try their other amazing looking flavors (like pistachio). read more

We had lunch next door and saw this new bakery. Came in with just a desire to check things out and the gal, Britney, was so sweet and helpful that we ended up trying free samples and hubby chose a maple glazed old fashioned. We didn't realize it came with a free coffee. He had ordered an Americano so I got his coffee. They serve Gavina which is a great coffee. While enjoying the donut I was taking pictures for this review and I always ask if an employee wants to be in the photo (some people prefer not) and upon hearing I was posting said that they give people donut holes if they post. Something I did't know. Learned a lot in a first visit. . Will definitely come back to try their fresh made beignets. (She says they plan to bring in smoothies and sandwiches in the near future. ) read more

We came on Sunday around 8:30am and surprisingly, there was no line. Being a fan of New Orlean's beignets, I ordered some beignets to try and a few other of their special donuts. We had to wait about 5 minutes for them to make the beignets which we do not mind since we love to eat freshly made beignets. The young lady behind the counter was super nice and friendly to us. We loved everything we tried and impressed with excellent service. The beignets were about 2 inches and more dough than I expected however still very good. I will definitely come back to back when craving for beignets or donuts. There were only a few parking slots in front of the store, however we do not have any problem finding a slot when we visited. read more

Service was EXCELLENT! The owner was super sweet and energetic! However the specialty donuts and beignets were terrible. The beignets were not the correct dough mixture and were hollow inside; there was no flavor either. I didn't get a picture of the inside we threw them away almost immediately. The regular donuts were actually great but the speciality donuts weren't anything special. Service was 10/10 but I wouldn't come back for the donuts. read more

Parking is a bit tough around lunch time but this is a cute little new donut shop that just opened up here in fountain valley. The donuts look delicious The coffee was very good. The ambience is awesome. The staff was really sweet and the donut shop was really clean overall very happy thank you so much! read more

Just picked up my first two dozen doughnuts here. They are amazing quality and delicious flavors. But my favorite part of the whole experience was the kindness and generosity experienced by the two women working. They even gave me free doughnut bites and a Thai tea. Definitely going back here to support these wonderful women! Plus, it's a very cute store for sitting and lounging. Loved it! read more
