What really set me off is we had an appointment July 5th and an hour before the appointment the canceled because the doctor was ill and stated they would call us to reschedule, two weeks went by and I spoke to the receptionist that stated they are short staffed and would call me when they see an opening in the schedule. Guess what it's almost August 5th and I have not had any communication with them at all. I called a different clinic that will have better parking, better communication and more locations to choose from.

After my third session, the business relocated and remained closed for about 5 weeks, disrupting the treatment schedule, yet I continued receiving appointment confirmations during that time. When I later tried to use my remaining prepaid services (Neveskin and Restylane filler), I was told I would need to pay an additional $400 due to "inflation" despite already paying in full. When I asked for clarification on this policy, I received inconsistent answers and was told I was "attacking" the owner for asking questions. Overall, my experience raised concerns about consistency, communication, and honoring prepaid services.

Inside, there's a simple but comfortable waiting room. My reflexologist Mary Ann welcomed me warmly and since it was my first time, told me about reflexology and how it works. She asked if I had anything in particular I wanted to work on, and got started. My feet are usually so ticklish, but they weren't at all during the session! Throughout, Mary Ann told me which pressure points correlated to which parts of the body - so fascinating. I could definitely tell when she hit the points that correlate with where I hold tension: my neck, shoulders, and lower back. It was a soothing and relaxing session, and I learned so much. At the end, Mary Ann even showed me which parts of my hand I can press on myself when I'm feeling tension in certain areas. There was no quiet pre-room lounge area. We were in a small waiting room next to the manicure station and pedicure station. We were offered snacks and water. Snacks consisted of Cheetos, pretzels and other variety of chips. It reminded me of snacks to pack in a kids lunch. While in the waiting area (small love seats) we noticed the wear and tear of pedicure stations, patched with several layers of duct tape. In the facial room I had a brief consultation with the staff. I had a hard time even finding the chair in the small room as it was so dark and the chair was black. I'm 35...I'm not usually so sensitive to darkness. During the appointment, staff took time to fill out a generic card to give to me at the end of the appointment that showed problem areas and recommendations of cleansing scheduling etc. this could have been done after my appointment while I was getting redressed since my appointment was already late and the session ended early as well. Overall for the price of the day, the salon, vibe and quality service didn't match up. It seemed more like a mid-quality salon than an upscale place they are marketing. It's a very small space, so any extra people make it very crowded. I would not recommend a party more than 2.

I will not hesitate to go back to Expressions again! It is obvious that the entire team cares about the clients they serve and are willing to go the extra mile. They did make product recommendations for me, but I never felt extra pressure to buy anything. In fact, they were super flexible and even encouraged me to be conservative. The team took great care not to over treat me and to throughly explain the process well. Is this spa the most luxurious place you'll ever visit for care? Probably won't be, but it was super clean and well organized. Bonus you'll get great progressional treatment from kind, knowledgeable people who know their stuff and love what they do!
