They were booked almost two months out, but I was able to secure a cancellation appointment and was seen the week after I called! From the outside, Lakes Dermatology is unsuspecting. It looks very industrial. The second you walk in however, you're in a brand new, gorgeous facility. The lobby is bright and white with comfy modern furniture. The person who helped me at the desk was very friendly and I was able to complete all my paperwork in advance. I was a little early, but only waited about 10 minutes to be seen. Dr. Ahmed was great! She listened well, asked good questions, and took my concerns seriously. She was super helpful when I asked for skin product recommendations, giving me both budget friendly options I could buy anywhere and some products that they sold in-house. My experience was great and I will totally be back!

When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

I have been with her about 10 years and not once was she on time for an appointment. It was at least a half-an-hour wait. I finally made my appointment as the first one of the day, thinking I would solve the problem. She was still a half-an-hour late. The last appointment was my last appointment when I waited so long I had to leave for another appointment before being seen. I can understand being late on occasions but this is habitual which tells me she has no respect for her patients and their time.

Karisa is such a delight. She took before pictures and asked a few questions before nurse Lindsey came in. Lindsey blew me away. First of all, she has incredible eye contact, says funny things, and is very educated on anatomy (she speaks intelligently it makes me feel secure, and develops great trust quickly). Lindsey took the time to listen to my concerns and educated me on the process, and when performing the procedure she had such a calm presence and demeanor and made for a more relaxing situation. Lindey helped with lip filler, cheek filler, and Botox. You could tell that patience and comfort are one of Lindsey's top priorities along with precision. I'm so happy my lips didn't bruise! My results thus far are amazing but still healing. The front office staff Dawn and Nick were a pleasure to interact with too. Nick did a great job with offering me a program I could sign up for and help same money at my next visits.

I took my dog, Decker, back to the clinic after a month to have his allergy testing done. Every one…read moreof the employees are so welcoming and caring for Decker. His allergy testing took about a half an hour to complete and I waited in my car in the parking lot while he was getting tested. After the testing, they took the time to go over the results with me in depth and concocted his own personalized micro dose of drops for us to give him twice daily to help fight those allergens. He was a little stoned when he came out of the testing, and they offered to help get him in the car for me since he's a big boy! Decker ended up not needing any help and is happily resting at home. We are looking forward to our follow-up appointment in 3-4 months from now!
