They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. I first discovered Chive Kitchen at a VegMichigan event where Chive Kitchen's head chef & founder, Susie Silvestre, was doing a cooking demo of their chili. Surprisingly, my favorite dish at Chive Kitchen to this day is their Michigan chili. I've personally always hated chili and was very hesitant to try Chive Kitchen's, but the moment I did, I was transformed. Their chili is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted & ever since then, I've tried to try other place's chilis as well & they all fall SO short. I highly recommend you try a cup of this the next time you dine at Chive Kitchen. It's so scrumptious & I even brought it with me on several camping trips to heat over the campfire on colder events, which really hit the spot.
