I wanted to share my recent experience in hopes it helps improve communication and client…read moreexperience going forward. When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

Wagging Lounge Dog Resort - Piper, what a beautiful, mild-mannered companion.

I got my dog only a few months ago and work was sending me on a business trip. I was SO concerned…read moreabout where to board her cause I've heard all the horror stories. I knew this was the place to board my Coco when other dogs were coming in tails wagging and smiling instead of seeming terrified like other boarding places. I LOVE that they take photos everyday and upload them to Facebook so you can see your baby and what they're doing. Anytime I need to board my dog she will be going here. Honestly- just look at her smiles here!

One star. I'm done with Wagging Lounge Dog Resort…read more I just left Wagging Lounge, and I can confidently say this was my last visit. It is always something with this place. Before heading over today, I specifically checked their website to confirm the cutoff time for the self-wash on Saturdays. The website said 4:30 PM, which is already a full 90 minutes before their 6 PM closing time. I hightailed it over there with plenty of time, only to be told when I arrived that the last self-wash is actually 4 PM. So, to be clear: you close at 6 PM, your website tells customers 4:30 PM, but when they arrive, you tell them the cutoff is 4 PM. Make it make sense. Unfortunately, this is not my first frustrating experience here. On a previous visit, they refused to clip my dog's nails because they claimed he was "too aggressive." Let me add some context: my little dog is 14 pounds soaking wet and has never had an issue getting his nails clipped anywhere else. Meanwhile, during one of my visits, a dog they were servicing actually jumped on me and nearly knocked me over. So apparently my 14-pound dog is too "aggressive" to have his nails clipped, but a dog in their care can jump on a customer and nearly knock her down? How's that for aggressive behavior? And that was on top of dogs throughout the facility barking their heads off and pulling their owners on their leashes. Yet somehow, my tiny dog was singled out as the problem. At a certain point, repeated experiences like these leave you wondering why a business seems so determined not to serve you. I cannot say what motivates the treatment I've received, but as a Black customer, I would be lying if I said these experiences have not left me questioning whether bias, including racial bias, played a role. What I do know for certain is this: Wagging Lounge will never see me or my money again. There are too many businesses that actually value pet owners, communicate their policies accurately, and make customers feel welcome for me to keep giving this place another chance. I've given them enough chances. I'm done.

"12409 Lime Kiln Rd is where I'm at!" Mojo JoJo yelled redundantly. "BUBBLES!!! I have found you, third Powerpuff Girl!" Mojo JoJo laughed. Mojo JoJo paused to reflect, "But why were you so foolish to write your name on the door?" Mojo JoJo reached for the door handle. "Drat! I don't have an appointment, and an appointment I needed!" He glanced at his notes, before calling one of his humans whom he brainwashed with a head of Anubis statue, empowered by rubies he had also procured, to make the call on his behalf. With his appointment having been placed, he waited the requisite amount of time, hiding poorly behind a fence, until he could be "right on time" and knock. "And where are Blossom and Buttercup, your Yorkies?" one of the kind employees asked. Mojo JoJo grinned malevolently. The human he had transformed into a dog had remembered the names of his other two archenemies. "I knew it! She was foolish enough to write her name on the facade. Unwise even, I say." He then looked inside and begged their pardon for a moment as he turned to one of the dogs who had just luxuriated in a warm bath with, much to his chagrin, no longer extant bubbles. "Where is Bubbles? I am losing my patience! My patience is ebbing! One might even say waning!" At that point, several of Barks 'N Bubbles's canine clients began to bark in wonder at the oddly-dressed and Machiavellian-sounding chimpanzee; and Mojo JoJo lowered his head and realized he had been had. He saw how happy the dogs looked, dressed in their Halloween-themed bandanas, and how excited they were to be safely reunited with their owners and to be encouraged to pick out a squeaky Halloween-themed toy, and he paused magnanimously. "May I make an appointment for myself? An appointment I would very much like to make!" The Powerpuff girls would have to wait, and so too would the city of Townsville!
