The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

The pet sitter who was assigned was Kim. She spent plenty of time with the cats and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. The visit reports they leave are really cute as well. Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

My initial call was returned quickly, and Joelyne was friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about meeting my dog. She was timely in sending the onboarding paperwork, and completing the set-up was easy. She set up a Zoom call (since my request for service was only 2 days away), and "met" me and my dog virtually. It was perfect. Every day while I was away, one of Prance Around's team members showed up during my specified window and walked my dog for 45 minutes. I received a custom walk report via email every day following the walk, and it usually included pictures. I LOVE that feature! While on vacation, a family member became critically ill and required hospitalization immediately upon our return to the US. I was able to email Prance Around and extend service for an additional week without any problems. Our service commitment ended, and only a few short days later, my family member was back in the hospital. With only a day's notice, I was able to contact Prance Around and get my dog back on their schedule. No hassles. No problems. Joelyne and her crew are incredibly kind, generous, and empathetic. It has been such a relief to know that I can call on them to take care of my girl and not have any worries. I would, without hesitation, absolutely recommend Prance Around Pet Services, and I will continue to use them as our needs arise. We've had…read moreno issues and our bulldog loves having someone come over and take her for a short walk in the middle of the day when we're both at the office. They will leave a note about what your dog did and it's very easy to cancel walks if you end up staying home. Our dog is super friendly and sweet but not the best mannered - meaning she jumps and pulls sometimes on the leash and they've never mentioned it to us as a problem! When on vacation, we typically have one of the sitters (we use the same one typically who lives down the street), come pick up the dog and her food and she stays at their house. She is definitely well loved and taken care of and they've been great to communicate with. My only comment is that it can be expensive when you have the dog staying in one of their sitters' homes but our dog is part of the family and hates being home alone. So for us, it's worth it but others might find them coming to your house a little easier on the wallet. They also offer a service where you can have them take your dog to their grooming salon for a bath, nails, ears cleaned, etc. Very convenient for those of us who are too busy to do it ourselves!

They knew how to make her comfortable. The benefit of using a company instead of Rover is that when one of the dog walkers moved on to a new career, the company had a new employee ready to take over so I didn't need to spend time searching for a replacement. Tails on Trails is very reliable and they take great care of the dogs. I'm not sure why some of these older reviews are negative, but that certainly hasn't been our experience at all.

They found a bucket in the house and put it under the drips, called me, and sent a video to my phone. When I landed I was able to schedule a plumber right away to meet me at the house. By having the bucket in place they prevented untold damage to the kitchen and basement. They've been easy to schedule and work with and respond quickly to e-mails. When I come home my little dude is always happy, well fed, and has plenty of water in his dish. If I wasn't moving far away, I'd definitely continue using their service.
