So yes, Fun activity but a bit frustrating at first unless you're natural like my son-in-law. The owner gives you tips and watches you throw and helps you correct your form at first because let's face it it's much more fun to ask throw if your axe actually sticks in the target. Because we were signed in as a group and were less than 8 we had to share a lane. Suggest, if you are a large group, split it up. Even though the place was empty they would not let us split unless we signed in again. We decided not to bother and stay as one group. After almost an hour, I finally got my axe on the wall! The instructors go through the rules and then also come around and help you with your technique if needed. They also have ping pong and shuffleboard if you need to wait for a lane to open. For the 15-minute package, the total cost was about $90. We booked online after visiting in-person and were told that reservations must be made online in advance to allow for room setup. Upon arriving for our reservation, we completed liability waivers and then suited up with coveralls, gloves and visors. We then were each able to grab one "weapon," such as a hammer, crowbar or baseball bat. We were then shown in the room and given our 15 minutes. Though the website indicates how many items will be available to break per package, the room was widely underwhelming. It was small, dimly light and felt dingy. The items we had to break were mostly empty alcohol bottles and glassware. There were a few TVs lined up on one wall, but the screens were already smashed out, so there wasn't really anything to do with them. I cannot imagine doing this for more than 15 minutes. We managed to break everything, while taking our time to have fun, in less than that. The work staff was nice, but I have a feeling they were understaffed as there was only one employee. The entire atmosphere of the business felt dark, unfinished and just unsafe. It felt like a rage room set up in your friend's uncle's garage or something, not a business you'd give nearly $100 to. There is also ax throwing available but there are plenty of other, nicer ax throwing businesses in Springfield. Overall, I would not visit again or recommend. Save your money. Break some bottles in your backyard, if you really need to.

And a slow one. Those speeds are based of what I was told a while ago. So hopefully I remembered accurately. When ever we are there. We see more people playing mini golf. It's priced really well too. We haven't tried it though. Can't pull ourselves away from the batting cages!
