Tried a third time and it accepted $40.00, again, with the same message provided for the bills it rejected. I've tried other Desert Financial ATMs at other locations and have all kinds of issues like this. I dislike dealing in cash and Desert Financial makes my dislike for it even worse.

Fry 's has been putting a pending transaction and then deducting the final cost of their app/pickup orders, the two this happened the call center agents will release the additional pending hold to be able to use funds in the account, A rep told me that the call center gets real time updates unlike the branches... which I understand because I worked for a large company sending communications to administrative staff down the rep level. Been with Desert Financial in some kind of way for over 18 years, I will never bank with big banks like Chase, BofA,etc . Where they charge ridiculous fees just to have an account. Desert Financial will reimburse any ATM fees when needed to withdraw cash from credit unions ATMs at the start of new billing cycle. A branch rep told that every February they give every account a "thank you" credit, I think based on how often you used your account or average balance, not sure just remember back in February I got around $20 credit. I recommend this Bank, Charles Schwab or USSA, if you are qualified family member. And little special touch they have big variety of card designs... ASU, Cardinals and desert pictures. Matt Oliver earned our business because during our first call, I asked Matt what is the difference between them and others, why should we pick Lund. Other companies sounded gimmicky and said things like "we have the lowest rates and BEST customer service." He flat out told me "Well, it is a mortgage and there are plenty of mortgage companies. If you want to shop and or deal with an app, then go ahead. I think customer service and trust goes a long way, so the only thing I can do is assure you is that I will do the best I can and we usually do a great job." That no BS answer told me everything I needed to know. We went in there a little excited with many questions and Matt Oliver took his time to give us answers to all of them. When we were anxious, tried to speed up parts of the process, or were thinking of doing something they wouldn't recommend, Matt would candidly shoot us straight and give us solid advice. The only negative thing about the whole process was they were occasionally hard to get ahold of. By that, I mean response within 24 hours - max. Which is understandable given the rates and the amount of customers flooding in. By no means was any of our process delayed or done wrong because of Lund, just a little patience was required on our end. We went into this process fully ready to "shop" for mortgages and blitz for the lowest rate. In the end, Lund was good to us and got us an awesome rate off the bat. So we ultimately stuck with them all the way through and didn't look elsewhere. Towards the tail end, Lisa Lund assisted us in a few matters. She was very polite, responsive, and knowledgeable as well. I can see why she runs the place.
