The first closing attorney literally said they wouldn't close this deal once they found out who lender was, so we had to switch attorneys midway through the process. The appraisal wasn't done until 3 weeks into the process on a 30 day contract. Then the lender requested repairs but didn't tell us until 5pm Friday on Labor Day weekend. After scrambling to get everything done & provide receipts, they've taken all week to "review" the repairs & say the decision wont be final until Monday. They then have a 72 hour waiting period on top of that after clear to close is issued. So an August 24th closing is now turning into a September 17th closing over all easily preventable things. I will never allow my clients to accept an offer from someone using this lender again or have my clients use this lender.

Their performance throughout the entire process was utterly pathetic. They seemingly cannot read basic financial documents--specifically Shareworks statements. They saw and requested the exact same documents on over 10 separate occasions. Then, finally, on the 11th time, they actually decided to look at them and ask questions about the accounts and statements. This absolute incompetence caused a massive, last-minute pivot and wasted 2 entire months of my time just to get to that point. Combined with horrible communication along the way, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience. Save yourself the headache and take your business to a broker that actually values your time, communicates transparently, and knows how to review basic paperwork. Avoid them at all costs.
