This is the WORST BANK EVER!! THEY STOLE OVER 4K FROM ME!!! I had deposited a check for an over draft I had, they took what was over drafted and then proceeded to hold onto the remaining of my funds for over a month. I called numerous times over the month and they kept giving me the run around. Finally I said I want to close my account and want to withdraw my funds and they said they couldn't give me my money back and that they will send the check back to the bank it was drawn on. WTF!! I asked for proof and they said they couldn't give me anything stating that the funds will be returned to the bank it was drawn from. This sounds so fishy!!.PLEASE BEWARE THIS BANK IS FULL OF CROOKS. I WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT. Unfortunately to post this review I have to give a star. They are not even one star worthy. I wanted to make my experience public and let it be known that I have been a victim of credit card fraud with PNC and PNC doing absolutely nothing to take responsibility for this lapse in security. I have been a dedicated PNC customer since 1972 with mortgages, business loans, business accounts and many others for more than 50 years, When I received my October statement, I immediately spotted three charges that I did not make. The three charges were all made October 11, 2024 in the state of Washington, with a total cost of approximately $40. I immediately called the PNC fraud department to let them know that I did not make these charges. I was told that my credit card was used to make these purchases and I would still be held responsible for these charges. I then called a PNC branch manager where I live in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was told that the incident would be referred back to the agent in the Philippines. I let the manager know that nobody has ever had possession of my card. In all the years I've done business with PNC, I was never once late on one payment and have never had a single issue. I was shocked to find out that I am still being held responsible to pay for these charges that I did not make. I have no faith in PNC at this point. Will my card be used once again with fraudulent activity? The worst part about this experience is that PNC accused me of lying and that I would still be held responsible for these fraudulent charges, I will be posting my experience on every website and social media site I can find, to warn others of this terrible experience RyanLesnick@gmail.com read more

Danny, the bank manager is very rude. He basically told me to go and open an account somewhere else. The reason for my visit was I had to mortgage to take an out of my account. I went to the bank he told me to come tomorrow and I will take care of it when I went the next day he said he can't do it. I have to call customer service but he told me that I have done it wrongly so he tried to show me how to do it, and it was exactly how I did it, I said this software has a bug he got mad and he said he don't want you here get out of our bank and take your money somewhere else I would not recommend this branch to anybody even my worst enemy read more

This bank has missed the mark in transitioning their a customers as they acquired BBVA Compass. I have two business accounts I have not had access to for three days. I need to transfer funds for payroll. When you try to call ... one entire day, every time I called the message said we are experiencing a high volume of calls call again later and disconnected you. I drove to a local branch only to find out they couldn't help me because at 5 o'clock, after sitting for over an hour, their banks were completely locked down and they couldn't even transfer money between my two accounts that I have no access to. The staff worked diligently to get me a phone number that assured me that during the day the next day, they would be able to wire the money to make sure it was handled. Today I called that number, held for 24 minutes to speak to a human who told me I needed the business banking department. She transferred me and I held for an hour and 43 minutes and then the call began to ring. Unfortunately, That line rang for over 25 minutes and I finally hung up. I am now back at the branch I was at yesterday. I have been sitting for over an hour and 15 minutes and now they only have 45 minutes to solve this before payroll bounces still no service. read more

Had a line of credit loan. Checked the balance online and made a payment, equal to the amount of the balance. Checked in a couple of days later and it showed a $ 0 balance. A couple of weeks later, got a statement in the mail that said I owed $ 41.05 on the loan. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid that amount....thinking that there may have been some interest accrued between the time I made the payment (online) and when it was applied to the loan. I checked online and saw a $ 0 balance for the line of credit and assumed that the loan was now, paid in full. 2 days ago, got another statement in the mail that showed that I owed $ 18.95 on the same loan I thought I had paid off TWICE. Called PNC and after a LONG time of answering recorded messages, FINALLY got to speak with a human being. All she did was repeat that the $18.95 was the pay off on the loan. Decided to go directly to the local branch ( a new branch in Sun City West, AZ) and spoke with the manager there. She informed me that you can NEVER PAY A LOAN OFF online. Even if the amount paid shows a $ 0 balance, they continue to charge fees. YOU HAVE TO PAY A LOAN OFF AT THE BANK. How was I supposed to know? I argued with her, but she would not, and continued to insist that she could not, refund the $ 60 that PNC STOLE FROM ME! After a long discussion, I paid the $ 18.95 to settle the account. I only wish I had millions of dollars in their bank so it would hurt them a little bit for stealing from me when I pulled it out. After reading other reviews, this seems like it is a trend that the PNC bank seems to use to squeeze another nickel out of a 30 year customer. Totally useless customer service!! read more

Similar to many other experiences shown in these reviews. If I could give PNC Bank a ZERO, or negative number, I would. Instead, I will provide a negative review for a very poor experience. I contacted PNC Bank on 01/22/22 and spoke with Kramer. Key question was... "Does PNC Bank issue HELOCs for investment properties?" He assured me that they did. Based on this assurance, I submitted an online application and provided several personal documents for my husband and I. I spoke with several other people over the next FOUR WEEKS and NO ONE TOLD ME THAT.... OOOPPsss.. PNC Bank actually DOES NOT DO HELOCs for investment properties until FIVE WEEKS LATER. This is so unacceptable and hard to believe that this place is allowed to operate as a bank. The level of incompetence is unbelievable and highly unacceptable. read more

I am specifically speaking of Nathaneal manager of The branch by Gainey Ranch estates and Zerimar who is there doing the impossible as well, also, Petra, @ the Frank Lloyd Wright Branch i hold in the same esteem, with Kevin @ the Thunderbird Branch & all the other bank officials in all of those branches, including the pinnacle peak & Pima branch as well. I just met Jody, the district manager today & I now I see why I'm so happy with PNC. She knows how to run a successful bank on both sides & all these heroes are making it happen. Considering an acquisition of BBVA that recent happened & has a rocky start, it's come down to these fine "real people" above who are making my bank (for many years) come out of the smoke with happy customers overall, new, old & transferees from BBVA like myself. I felt it's important to mention this because these people are real & they are making the difference for the better, between growth & contraction for the fate of PNC. This should be noted & acknowledged for the top of the top of the pyramid to see, for they are why PNC will grow bigger & better making customers like me, feel solid & happy that we are @ a truly fantastic bank. This bank should not be in business! This is by far the worst experience with a bank that I have ever had. I was a longtime customer of BBVA Compass (over 15+years) I had multiple accounts including a credit card through them. PNC took over and decided to close my credit card while I was in the process of buying a house, claiming it was because I did not use it often enough. So I managed to close both my checking and savings and move to a different bank. However I was still stuck paying for my closed credit account. I had the payment on autopay for the 9th for years. I went to go check on my credit card balance since it should be close to being paid off and find out they have been charging me late fees for years! They changed my due date to the 6th without any notice! No calls, letters, emails or texts, absolutely no communication. I did not realize that by agreeing to go paperless, I would not ever get notified of anything! When I call in to try to get this resolved, I get put on hold for long time and transferred multiple times, no one can seem to help or figure out why this happened. They can not even tell me what my minimum payment is! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more
