Yes, it is a bank but it is my neighborhood bank that has fast friendly services. Besides teller service they offer all banking services to meet your needs. This location is on the corner of 7th Street and Glendale. Across from Walgreens. There is plenty if parking and a drive thru for quick access to your cash. Majority of the time I have used the services for drive thru but I have had the opportunity to stop in several times and met with the friendly staff. TERRIBLE customer service--and we've banked here for over 40 years. Whenever I've gone to the branch, I am greeted by the sight of the "security guard" slumping across two chairs inside the front door and growling at customers. He is as inviting as a dirty rag. He has no smile, no personality, and is barely civil to customers. When I received a notice a few weeks ago to COME TO THE BRANCH ASAP to update some information, I did so. After encountering the grumpy guard, an unfriendly teller informed me that I was REQUIRED to make an appointment online because all the bankers were busy. That's not what the letter instructed me to do. According to the teller, I was out of luck as far as seeing a banker in the near future. Today when I went to meet the banker as arranged online, I discovered that the online system booked me with a banker at a different branch several miles away. Again I had the privilege of barely being greeted by the guard. A different disinterested teller informed me the person I was to meet did not work at that branch. When I asked if another banker could help me, she did not even look around but said they were all booked AND IT WAS ALMOST CLOSING TIME anyway. (It was 20 minutes before closing time, but apparently, these people don't work until closing time.) She did not apologize or offer any sort of concern or try to help. She must have already checked out for the day if she was ever engaged to begin with. So my experience at this branch particular branch tells me that Chase does not value the business we've done with them for 40+ years. What happened to serving customers with a smile? read more

Branch Manager David is great-- but on Wed. Oct. 20, 2021 at noon, the doors were locked and a laser printed piece of paper on the glass said the branch was closed-- and that if you needed to talk to a banker, you could make an appointment. I talked to several of the people stopping by, during lunch hour, about how outrageous this was. I've used this branch since 2000... 20 years and this never happened. I was once fired once a long time ago for not opening a store on time. Once. I was late by 1 hr. Two days later, I found them open again and speaking to David in a friendly manner, I pointed out that the sign he used did not say, as he explained without apology that they were short staffed. He said he must use the sign Chase give him. He simply obeys orders-- never mind the panic he caused among the lunch crowd that day. Typical. Why short staffed? Everyone is short staffed? Why? Are they falling over due to the vax? Besides when I looked through the glass there was a guy in there. Why couldn't he open the door and explain in person? I don't like this incident because when I looked up Chase online, they say they're closing thousands of branches. David told me that HIS branch is never going to close down. Well... so he says. Due to fake-covid-which-is-5G radiation illness + vax sideeffects-- even our banks with our money are signalling shutdowns-- staff shortages today-- what will it be tomorrow? Computer virus? We lost all your money? You can't get into your safe deposit box without an appoinment, 6 months from now? This branch, David and all banks betetr wake up and smell the coffee... Wow I am totally shocked at the low reviews of this branch! I had such a wonderful, quick experience. Went into the branch this morning fearful that opening a new checking/savings account would be very difficult and time consuming. Contrary to my thought, I was in and out in under 20 minuets. Ernesto D. assisted me in this process. He was kind, thoughtful and took extra time to over explain certain topics I did not understand right away. I feel confident and comfortable with Chase taking care of my finances and investments. Thank you so much Ernesto for making my experience painless and quick. Totally forgetting the new and improved Chase App its so easy/quick to setup and use.As far as the low reviews go most of them look fairly old, I'd say give it another shot.If you are sitting on the fence about it like I was just do it, you won't be disappointed. read more

This Chase bank claims to be the "Affluent" branch for affluent customers, I can honestly say I am glad I pulled out all of my money and investments from this institution. They are disrespectful, incompetent, and they have the audacity to sit here and lecture me on what i should do with my money. Worst bank branch in Phoenix! The tellers are rude and the assistant manager has no customer service skills. They'll charge the $3 ATM fee to use their ATM, but then they wont change a single $20 for a roll of quarters! At least give me a kiss next I'm getting f*$#ed. read more

To be fair, I have only used the atm here. I am sure everyone working inside is pleasant. My problem with this location is that it is absolutely impossible to get out of the parking lot during rush hour unless you want to make a right turn on to Glendale....I don't. read more

We opened our business accounts here. We have always received extremely helpful service. It's a full service location with the fancy ATMs inside which disperse $1, $5 & $20 bills. Friendly tellers and a terrific biz banker. Sometimes, I just don't want to give my cash/check to a machine. I have a particular affinity for William and Nicole for going out of their way to help with external bank transactions. Although we could go to any location, I prefer doing business with this one. Rush hour traffic makes access/exiting more challenging, but not impossible. read more

September of 2013 this particular branch had orchestrated a crime that happend between one of the bank tellers and a mail carrier. the Mail carrier stole my friends check for 100's of thousands of dollars out of our mailbox and cashed it at this location, WITHOUT! going through proper protocol. This Branch did everything they could to pin the crime on my friend, even though they had camera tapes and other evidents that proved it wasn't my friend. To make a long and convoluted story as short as possible.... Here it is the end of 2017 and this conspiracy has not been resolved.
