We went with a small container of freshly made egg salad, a small container of grilled shrimp ($5), Meatballs with rice and vegetables ($13), and a frozen eggplant lasagna ($9). The egg salad was very good. Just egg and Light Hellman's Mayo and nothing else. It was a pretty much perfect batch, and a good convenient value at $5. The shelled "tail-on" grilled shrimp were five large nicely seasoned pieces that were delicious. We split the Asian Meatballs dish for dinner tonight. It was a big 19-ounce container with three Asian meatballs, rice, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots, squash, zucchini and scallions. A half portion was plentiful, the meatballs were excellent, and the sweet chili sauce added a zippy finishing touch. If the eggplant lasagna is half as good as the meatball dish, I'd be very happy. Some of the other intriguing listings we saw on their menu were Balsamic Shredded Beef, Turkey Cutlets with Fontina, Garlic Parmesan Flounder, Spanish Rice with Chicken & Shrimp, soups, salads, and desserts. (It was a chicken salad.) This is a concerning issue as it has the potential to sicken someone with an allergy. It's too bad they have this issue because everything else is good. They use quality products. They give you large portions. The staff is nice. I would therefore overall give them 3 out of 5 stars. The wrap worked fairly well as a whole, but it could have been served by any number of types of restaurants. Meaning, that I didn't really pick up much of Jerk or Jamaican flavor as it was served. Maybe because there was a good bit of lettuce and I'm usually eating jerk chicken off the bone. You could have told me it was a chicken Caesar Wrap and I would have believed it. Again, it was good. Just not quite what I expected. The eatery was cool, well decorated and had a friendly vibe. A few regulars came and went while I was there and the crew had a good rapport with them. I had first heard about this spot from a YouTube review on 'Mostly Healthy Food Reviews', and my vegan friend Shanta was raving about it too. Then another good review on YouTube by Eric on 'The Hungry Road'. So I had to check it out. I purchased 2 patties but one was certainly filling enough for lunch. My favorite hands down was the curry chickpea zucchini. It was a flavor explosion of veggies that was amazing. They also have a fridge full of patties packaged up for you to take home and bake. They had a dessert box too and today's special was pumpkin coco bread. The lucky couple in front of me grabbed the last two. Glad I live close enough to drop in regularly now.
