What a disappoint. I stopped in Zoey's this evening shortly before it closed at 6:30. I was sorely disappointed with the way I was treated, or rather, ignored. It seemed like they were getting ready for some type of holiday open house for the regular shoppers -- there were several women in there all cooing over each other.
When I realized that I was the only one being ignored, I glance at my watch to make sure I wasn't there after hours. Sure enough, there were still between 5 and 10 minutes to spare. The owner and/or a couple of staff members had to be there, but none of them said a word to me. The place is a little pricey, but I was dressed well enough to not look like I was too poor to afford anything. There were some really cute items there, and I would have loved to have spent more time looking through them, but I felt so awkward that I bolted. What an odd and terrible experience.
Yelpers, if you go here, I hope you don't experience the snobbery that I did! I'm only giving it two stars because I'm sure it has potential based on the merchandise I briefly browsed. read more
