It was originally a pop-up but has now secured a three-year commitment at the location through a city initiative. The initiative was meant to promote Black-owned businesses at prominent locations across the city. The store carries T-shirts, hoodies, pants, and hats at various price points. It's nice to see some retail options in addition to all the food establishments on Mass Ave. Because of the high foot traffic, I hope Nap Or Nothing does well and showcase what Indy has to offer.

I was told it was going to be a two week turnaround and unfortunately I was going to be leaving out of town for two months. Upon my arrival back to the store.... I had asked if I could exchange the water bottle for other items in the store, but because the manager was not on location one of the service team members called her. This woman is truly the worst person I have ever talked to on the telephone!!!!!!! She was not willing to exchange the product, she was not willing to do a refund while I was in the store and she had mentioned that she wouldn't be there until Tuesday of the following week where she wouldn't be able to do anything until then. So gracefully, I told her I would pay for the items in cash that I had picked out while I was in there and would she be able to do a refund or a credit on Tuesday when she comes in? She angrily and aggressively replied no! I can repair the product and you can come pick it up when you return home in two months. I will never be returning to the store again!!! I don't care how nice your stuff looks. If you sell somebody a defective product and you have a returning client you should attend to their needs and wants to ensure that they remain a return client. It was completely inappropriate, micro-aggressive, and made me wonder if she subjects all people of color to this kind of treatment. To make matters worse, I had to return to the store because I was shorted an item due to a system error. The store was nearly empty, but I could immediately tell she was heated and just wanted me gone. I brought an item to exchange and asked about stock for a few others, which is a standard request for a store employee. Instead of helping, her tone got meaner and her voice grew so loud that it felt like I was being reprimanded just for asking questions. She literally started yelling at me. I could see the hate in her eyes, and it took everything in me not to react disrespectfully back to her. Out of pure exhaustion, I gave up and only exchanged half the value of my item. This was hands-down the worst shopping experience I've ever had. If you're looking for similar items but prefer a classy environment where the staff actually welcomes you, I highly recommend going to Charles Mayer & Company instead.
