Not only are the clothes organized and neatly displayed, the entire shop is clutter free! It's refreshing to be able to walk around a boutique and not get caught on a rack everywhere you turn! The store definitely smelled stale, but some of the items were clearly new. The style of clothing was outdated, in my opinion, but they did have a nice selection of shoes. The main issue that I had was that the used, non-designer shoes were overpriced. I didn't see anything under $29.90. The staff didn't acknowledge us on our way in or on our way out. We were able to meet the owner who is also an Indiana gal married to a Brit. She shared that they spend the summers in England with their family, where she sources all of the items for the store. She was friendly and cool - someone we were excited to support. There is an array of jewelry, bags, magnets, and gifts galore. We bought a fun London magnet, reusable tote bag with the Queen's guards on it, and a coin purse that had a funky print on the inside. Everything was unique and I was excited to be able to gift my husband something from his Motherland for Christmas. We'll be back!

After passing through the front room, I was greeted at the checkout desk. What I really liked about the place is that many of the booths were holiday themed which set it apart from most of the collective/flea market type places I've been to. There were items that looked like new, some antiques, some clothing, lots of holiday accessories too! I found a small Christmas tree decorated in quilled ornaments. I had to buy one for my wife! We're in Indianapolis for my daughter's college campus visit at Rose Hulman. We went to Sophia's at first whose dresses were not only gorgeous but the customer service is impeccable. But we're shopping around, so we hopped over to our next stop which was Rae Lynn's. It's also supposedly where Ms. Indianapolis USA picked up her dress, so... Their dresses, while it looks nice from far away, are of VERY POOR quality. At one point, I had to ask one of the lax employees if their stuff is "pre-owned". She looked at me in disgust, as if, offended. Hey, I am not a local and I didn't ask if it was a SECOND HAND dress. So here's my opinion: NO WAY the 3 dresses my daughter tried on are brand new dresses. I wouldn't want to ruin what looks like a 'mom and pop' business but when you're charging customers, especially "children's" dresses, $300 to $700 and passing them off as "brand new", then you're a CHEAT. And you don't need to stay in business. *They're 'worn out' dresses. Pun intended. Pics attached. See for yourself.

On the day of pick up they bring the dress out and it has noticeable flaws that were NOT on the dress when it was looked at and tried on at the time of purchase. The manager stated "we don't take the dress out after it was bought" (methinks so!). Given that it was close to prom and the dress needed to be altered, we had to get the dress. Because of the NEW flaw, we asked for some sort of compensation (discount). They refused basically stating it wasn't their fault. Well since it was in their possession the whole time, I believe that it is. I will NEVER shop here again. P.S. To RaeLynn's- Please don't respond to this with a half baked apology that you gave all your other negative reviews. Thanks.
