Cute shop worth checking out. We were going to brunch at Rosie's and stumbled on this place across the square. Great gift options, lots of local goodies and some of the most delicious smelling candles ever. The sugared citrus was heaven. 2 friends, my daughter and I stopped in this little boutique yesterday afternoon. The downside: The shop is very tight to get around in----not shopper friendly at all. I do like the shop for the cute and unique clothing items. I am 70 and have found things in this boutique before. But, only giving 3 stars because of the attitude of the two girls at the front desk. They were no more interested in helping a SENIOR customer than flying to the moon. I do believe the clerks aloofness did have something to do with our ages- 3 seniors + an under 50 daughter. Both girls stayed behind the counter, leaning and looking at their cell phones the entire time we were shopping. I asked the price of a couple of items and had to get the attention of the pre-occupied clerk to get an answer. Yes, the shop caters to the young. This does not excuse the rude behavior we 3 seniors + experienced. Owners beware.... your young help does not CARE one iota! . read more

If we were to rewind to when I was in high school and a girl who hung out with some friend of mine's mother opened Karisma? I would probably give this four or five stars. 9 (maybe 10) years later? I can't do it. I know better. Karisma is and always has been an adorable shop. It is a true boutique meaning they may or may not have your size as they have a minimal size run of everything... It's to be expected. It makes pieces feel a bit more special. So why only three stars? Because I have lived and traveled to a lot of cities over those past 9 years. I have went to so many boutiques that curate clothing in a much better way. Some of the handmade items at Karisma are wonderful. But the clothing quality does not justify the prices. There are much better curated boutiques out there. And the pieces are nothing too terribly special. Someone recently said to me (when we were comparing this boutique to boutiques in other cities) that this boutique makes her think the owners don't care if they make a profit... That's it's more hobby than business. And while I didn't say it, I can see where they would think that. Boutiques should be aspirational... And unless you aspire to pay more than average (which I have no issue doing if that former condition is met) for things whose quality or uniqueness is less than average, then this boutique fails in that regard. read more

Every time I've been here I've bought something. Cute clothes & jewelry and fun gifts. The owner is very nice, helpful and not pushy. The inventory changes regularly so you can expect to find something new each time you go. They carry ladies clothes, shoes, jewelry & accessories, baby goods/gifts, home goods like candles & funny kitchen towels and other gifts. The store is located right on the square in downtown Noblesville so you can park, shop, then get something to eat at one of the handful of restaurants also on the square. Karisma is just adorbs. While my daughter and I do most of our shopping via their Facebook page, I've always appreciated getting a quick reply to questions and orders. This summer we made our first visit to the brick and mortar, and it's just as adorable in person. I love all their smart accessories like vintage motel keys made into bracelets and license plates turned into bracelet cuffs. Their scarves, statement necklaces and boots are my favorite items since I'm on the oompa loompa side and not much of their clothes would fit me ;) [Ok, before I get messages about healthy body image, etc., I'm good. I love me and am very comfortable in my own skin. Plus I think I'm pretty damn cute.] I wear their necklaces almost on the daily, and I always get complements. Same thing with their scarves during the fall and winter. My daughter enjoys their tees, jerseys, tanks, scarves and basically everything from Karisma. I have a love/hate relationship with this extremely adorable boutique. I love the ambience, the clothing, the shoes, and the fact that so much offered is made in the USA. I like that they take pride in being a unique downtown boutique, not a chain. If you've ever been to Francesca's, it's very similar, but smaller and a wider variety of clothes. I have many, many items from Karisma, and I love all of them. I'm sure I'll continue shopping here, BUT I do have a few issues. These issues have brought the rating from 5 stars to 3. I've shopped here many times, and the most recent trip was my only negative experience. I went with my sister-in-law and her 18-month-old son. Now, having no kids of my own, I completely understand that no one is required to oooh and aaah at every kid. HOWEVER, nor is it acceptable to be outright rude to the person/people taking a small, non-crying child shopping. Yes, the small stroller was a little awkward in the cramped store, so she parked it up front, out of the way. And yes, it can be annoying to want a shopping day and then see a baby in your favorite store. But I held him, talked with him, shopped successfully whilst holding him. Not once did he grab anything, get put on the floor, or cry/scream/throw a tantrum. He did get a bit whiney at not being able to get down, but I immediately distracted him, and on one occasion took him outside (the door was propped open on a nice day) to look at the cars and flowers. Essentially, I noticed that the shoppers and staff seemed unusually stiff towards us. I thought I was being paranoid, but his mother noticed it too. We were return customers, with a well-kept child who was not misbehaving. Get over it. The baby didn't make anyone leave. In fact, together, she and I spent over $200 (mostly my stuff). I'm just very put off by the attitudes of the staff that day. Otherwise, my complaints are small. I'd say the items in general are anywhere from $10-30 overpriced, no good sales. They post all new items on Facebook so things can sell out in an hour. I know they've got to make money, but give others a chance! Other than that one big issue and the smaller stuff, it's a pretty place with adorable clothes. WARNING: I'm speaking from personal experience, fuller figured women may find it difficult to fit into much here. Especially if, like me, your chest is large. I've lost weight and can fit into most of their Large sizes with a smaller DD chest. They don't really carry XL in much. read more

I really really love Karisma because of all the unique clothing items they have. It is a boutique so it's great to get things not everyone else has. But on that note, since it is a boutique it's quite expensive. I go shopping there a lot but rarely buy anything because it's hard to justify the price. I'd also say the customer service is less than desirable. Anytime I've gone in, I barely get a "hi". Employees seem busy stocking shelves, which I get, but they always act like I'm in the way and if I do buy something they seem annoyed that they have to check me out. Tissue weight tees, jeans, sweaters, cute dresses and delicate, handmade jewelry are the staples of this downtown Noblesville shop. The merchandising style here is chabby-chic-esque and the staff is very friendly and upbeat. I found several adorable tops that I would wear, though most would probably look better on somebody a bit younger than me - some were quite form-fitting. I do love the "hand" of nearly everything at Karisma - you just know these tops and such are going to feel like nothing next to your skin. Plus, these textiles tend to lend themselves very well to layering, which is nice. As for the accessories here, I would most definitely wear pretty much any of the necklaces and earrings I saw, especially those made of ultra-delicate (and feminine) chain and sporting either a single or a few charms.....the recycled Scrabble game piece necklaces were indeed a clever, less flashy take on the "monogram" style pieces that have been popular for some time now. Karisma reminds me of something you'd see on Mass Ave. in Indy or Main St. in Carmel, but at a lower price point (less overhead, no doubt) - Karisma does have charisma! read more

I like their clothes and had been a loyal customer but my review is based on shipping clothes(because it's not free)The 1st time I ordered something, a completely different item came in. I called to see what to do and was told I could come in and have it exchanged and they would refund the shipping. The whole point of ordering it was to avoid driving up to Noblesville. I would have thought the owner would offer at least a discount since this benefits me in no way and she did not. They turned their nose up at me when I walked in and were really trying to avoid talking to me or helping me.i was very nice and just wanted to know if they carried my size..which they don't (not something unusual for me so it is what it is) but I was looking around at jewelry. They were pretty weird with me. Which made me feel uneasy and like I needed to leave. I think they didn't like that a plus size lady came in their store to be honest. Which is sad..
