Beware. I dropped off my silk blouse with a one inch seam opening. It was returned to me with sleeve shredded . They refuses to compensate me in anyway and the manager gave me 3 different reasons why it happened. I had to initiate contact. This was a 250.00 dollar blouse. I in no way expected them to reimburse me for the original cost. I would have been fine with 50.00 and an apology. It is very disheartening the way they treat seniors. I am new to this area. I will never use this place again. If you have any high end clothes DO Not let them touch it. They only know how to clean work clothes. If there is any kind of stain, you will recieve a note stating, "unable to clean". read more

TLDR: Zips Dry Cleaners lost my cuff links and stud set, broke two buttons on my vest, and returned my shirt wrinkly. Although they eventually found the cuff links and studs, they refused to replace the vest buttons, despite their policy of compensating up to $200 for unresolved issues. Both the owner, Al, and the assistant general manager, Alisson, have been unresponsive about the button issue. I decided against re-pressing the shirt to avoid further damage. I took four items to Zips for cleaning: a tuxedo jacket, vest, suit pants, and a French-cuff tuxedo shirt, all of which I'd worn only once at my wedding. I wanted them cleaned for storage. When I picked them up, I noticed the cuff links and stud set were missing from the tuxedo shirt. The employees attempted to find them by searching the store and reviewing footage but eventually learned they were not at the partner store where the shirt was cleaned. The employee argued it was common knowledge to remove such items before cleaning, referencing a policy stated on the receipt about removing items from pockets. This was confusing as the shirt has no pockets and this requirement was not mentioned upon drop-off nor was it noted on their website. If informed, I would have removed the cuff links myself. Moreover, the receipt also mentions a pre-inspection by staff, which should have caught the cuff links if left on the shirt. The cuff links & stud set were eventually found, but the vest returned with two chipped buttons. Despite only one prior use, and no previous damage, Zips' staff were initially responsive about resolving this but later became unhelpful. Alisson promised a follow-up regarding button replacement which never came, and Al later indicated that button replacement wasn't guaranteed unless I provided the replacements. Despite Zips' policy stating they handle such repairs at no cost, and provide compensation up to $200 for unresolved issues, my requests for these solutions have been ignored. I've decided to not pursue re-pressing the shirt to avoid further damage. My experience suggests that Zips does not uphold their stated policies or ensure satisfactory customer service. I recommend finding a more reliable dry cleaner. read more

Quality, Customer Service, credibility, and honesty could definitely use improvement. They do not follow-up at all. I received no phone calls from them as promised. I don't dry clean much anymore. But had to get a couple old suits back in shape, and this place was the closest to me. Setting up a new account was a simple as can be, and drop off/pick up is simple. Sometimes there's only 1 person working in the morning, so be patient. It doesn't take long. Prices are extremely reasonable. Greeted promptly and was back in my car within just a few. I dropped off two items that needed some TLC and a refresh. They were ready the SAME day and cost less than $5. I handed her $5 and received change. I received text alerts when my items were ready. Payment was due when the items were dropped off. There is an after hours drop box, which I've don't anticipate using. My items looked 100% better. The flat rate pricing is awesome. No hidden fees or guess-work. Alterations are available for an additional cost. Located in the same shopping center as Outback and Rite Aid on Ebenezer and Joppa Roads. This is a busy area during peak hours and even more so when schools are in session. Think soccer moms and elderly on the Belair Road-Autobahn. Lol! No issues with service. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the guy that helped me was working hard to make sure my dry cleaning was found and my items were actually cleaned well. However, the ordeal was completely unacceptable. I needed my wife's suit from our wedding dry cleaned so she could wear it to an upcoming wedding. The suit ended up in the same bag with another man's work suits. That man was a few people in line ahead of me who left pissed because they told him his stuff wasn't ready. It's entirely possible they would have given him my suit in his order and he never would've known. He may have even gotten home, opened it all up, saw something that wasn't his, and just tossed it out. Some people do suck. All in all, I'm never going to Zips again. I'd rather just pay the extra few bucks at a private dry cleaner where I know my stuff won't get lost in a mass amount of orders. Save yourself the headache and stress. read more

I would really like to give 0 stars or less if it were possible. This has been the worst cleaners I've ever used. Over the past year I've brought clothes in to be cleaned maybe 5 or 6 times. Each time I go in to pick up my clothes, I discover 1 or more items missing and the others are barely cleaned. It honestly appears as if someone literally takes the garments out of the bag, presses them, uncleaned and puts them back on a hanger. Sometimes if I have several items, it may take me weeks before I even realize an item is missing. If they find garments that belong to you, no one even notifies you. I've gone into the location twice and was told "oh by the way you have items to be picked up," only to have them bring out something from a previous drop off that has already been picked up. I've never seen anything like it. I can not believe they can't manage the garment drop offs any better than this. Is it poor training of the staff, they don't care or just simply not payiing attention? I just picked up some garments and I have 2 items that belong to someone else and 1 item missing. I didn't realize the lower price also meant, lower quality service! I guess in this case you really do get what you pay for! Won't be going back! Do better ZIPPS! read more
