Tried Zippy's for the first time today. They were fairly empty though seemed to be short-staffed as many tables hadn't been cleared off and no one was in a rush to clean them. It was a little gross having dirty dishes piled around us and made for a less than pleasant experience. We tried the chili with rice, which was tasty. We also tried the chicken trio - fried chicken, chicken katsu, and Korean chicken, served with rice and macaroni salad. My only complaint was that the katsu sauce was served very cold, not sure if that's how it always is, but I didn't enjoy it. Definitely would have tasted better on the chicken and rice if it was room temperature or warm. Overall, the food was decent, but a bit overpriced in my opinion, plus the cleanliness of the restaurant was a turn off.

Whatcha like? Liked it all! New-ish restaurant that highlights diner style Hawaiian dishes! Enjoyed the coffee and pastries but need to come back for a real meal! The Korean fried chicken and spam combo sounds yummy! Service was friendly and efficient! Thank you!

This week was actually my first time trying Zippy's, even though Vegas has already opened three locations (and a fourth location opening soon in North Las Vegas). I kept hearing about it and decided to see what the hype was all about! I've always heard they're known for their chili. It's usually my comfort food during fall and winter and I normally make my own at home but I randomly craved it while running errands in the area. I ordered their chili bowl with cornbread and also added a side of their grilled cornbread. Flavor-wise, it wasn't an OMG I need to keep coming back kind of experience but it was good. I ended up taking it to go and had it for dinner at home. While eating, I suddenly noticed I was chewing on something that didn't seem edible. I spit it out and realized it was a piece of plastic mixed in with the chili. I understand that things like this can happen in restaurant kitchens and I've heard/read stories about it before but this was the first time I've personally almost eaten a piece of plastic from restaurant food. That part was definitely disappointing and definitely threw me off. Customer service was good and I was asked to complete a survey when I was given my bill. If I had noticed the piece of plastic at the restaurant, I would have given a different rating. Overall, the food itself was decent but after that experience, I might just stick to making my own chili at home. LOL!

Damn...unfortunately yeah and one star right off because we did ask the chili as an appetizer and came seconds before the meal. Food was good not great again this the second time coming and not being mean just truthful Babystacks food and more important the chili is is much better... Ouch!!! I remember going to babystacks and I love thier chili and I believe the server told me it was taken from a famous Hawaiian restaurant in Hawaii which happened not to be here at the moment Zippys. Of course each restaurant has thier own spin but I did try it at the og location on rainbow Blvd still stand the same... good but...lacking. Anyways service was nice and friendly restaurant very clean thier menu is very extensive. I will be back to try more...I forgot the rice seemed it had sugar??? Im like why is rice sweet...lol My daughter told its Hawaiian!!! They love the sweets. Im more savory

Aloha! Glad there is another location that just opened up. This one was much closer to where we were staying. We always enjoy eating at Zippy's every time we are craving it. Of course it doesn't hit the same than the ones in Oahu but close enough. Can't go wrong at any Zippy's you need to try EVERYTHING! Servers are always friendly! Very casual vibe. Ok to dine in or carry out.

Food: Hawaiian influence. Great crispy fried chicken flavors. If you like leftover fried chicken, order the Korean style. Service; good attentive staff Ambience: clean spacious seatings. Orderly setup for Take Out orders. Don't forget the desserts!

Zippy's is a great place for Hawaii comfort food not to confused with Hawaiian food. Yes there is a difference. I love Zippy's because they are fast and it brings me back to childhood. They always have specials for the month and change the desserts often with each month but they keep the classic always like Apple Naples and Dobash cake and mochi Zadas. Just to name a few. Aloha is spoken here service is friendly and fast always checking back on your table to see if you need anything else. If you've been to one zippy's, they're pretty much laid out the same simple set up and simple decor. Food always comes out hot and fresh, some of my go to favorites are chicken Katsu Portuguese bean soup, teriyaki hamburger steak, saimin and of course a side order is Mac salad. What's nice about Zippy's is that they serve breakfast 24 hours so whatever you're in the mood for they have it. Give this place a try and happy eating....

This easy to find and easy to park. The staff was friendly. I wasn't too hungry and it was my 1st time at a Zippy's. I ordered their chili/no beans with cornbread to take home and it was very good. Their pastries look delicious but I'll try those another time. I was shocked at how large the restaurant was with plenty of boosts as well as tables. They also have a very large menu with lots of variety. I will be back another time to try more.

Finally made it here. We were craving for oxtail soup so drove all the way here for it. Oxtail soup is like $28 --it's kinda pricey but the flavor was there. I would like more meat though and hotter soup not warm. The service is what made this 4stars --they were so nice and helpful since it was our first time there. Parking was easy probably because we came at around 9pm. Huge space definitely great for gathering.

Oh my gosh! I can't even tell you the last time I had Zippy's!! We were lucky enough to have a free night to run over to Zippy's for dinner. It's like a little bit of home. Too bad it was early in our trip or I would have brought back some pasteries for my mom. Since this location isn't near the tourist areas it really wasn't crowded at all. We got to sit pretty quick. Of course I had to go with my staple of saimin. So many noodles!! It almost had too much noodles compared to the broth ratio. Of course I had help finishing the noodles but in general I know no one would complain when getting a lot of noodles. My companion had the zip pac. He said the chili was so much better than the frozen Zippy's chili we get at Tokyo Central (we gotta do what we gotta do at home). He said the meal was filling and ono. Of course we had to complete the meal with haupia cake. I wish I could get haupia cake at home but almost no one makes that anymore. It was a special treat to get to enjoy Zippy's on our trip!

Came here to try something new and since this location hasn't been open for a long time it's very nice and clean. Our server was very new and asking her questions wasn't helpful to us. We tried a few dishes and some sweets. My chili was good but I prefer mine a little sweeter so I ended up adding some sugar. The corn bread was fantastic. My side of fried chicken was a little dry but my ladies Korean fried chicken was very juicy and tender. The desserts we tried were ok but nothing special. Overall I enjoyed our first meal here and will come back to try other things.

Food was good enough. It took to long though. Thatbis my only concern . Food was fine, service was pleasant and the place was clean. Next time i wil order over the phone to avoid the wait

You're not getting four star service here this isn't the strip, but you're getting someone who's going to make sure your coffee is filled your food. Comes out warm and there's there if you need them. Got the biscuits and gravy and hands-down, some of the best biscuits and gravy in Las Vegas. Give this a firm 5/5 And of course I had the creeps, but I like to call blintzes. Got it with the strawberry. Honestly, some of the best blitzes in town. The cheese mixture on the inside is heaven. Taste like a cheesecake wrapped in a soft fluffy blanket again 5/5. Then I got the pork chops and decided to get them breaded basically fried with eggs. Gave this only a 4/5 because it felt like the breading was overtaking the pork chop. All in all, pretty damn great for the price.

It's a popular diner style eatery for locals and visitors alike and are known for their hearty breakfast with generous portions. It was packed on a Friday morning with a wait, but since I was dining alone, I was able to snag a seat at the counter for immediate service. The interior is reminiscent of an old fashion NJ diner which I grew up frequenting and felt like a little piece of home to me. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Southern-Style which typically comes with Country Fried Steak on two buttery biscuits smothered in their homemade gravy, two extra large eggs, hash brown and toast. I got the gravy on the side. Substituted the hash browns for breakfast potatoes and the toast for the grilled blueberry muffin (which comes grilled and with a side of fluffy butter) at no additional charge. I definitely recommend you do that because the toast is a bit redundant when the plate already comes with two massive buttery biscuits. You can also substitute the potatoes and toast for three large pancakes for no additional charge as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and ended with a Coconut Cream Pie to-go for later. I even packed up the blueberry muffin since I was so full. While their prices have crept up in recent years, it's still a fantastic value compared to what you would be paying on the strip. Be sure to pay in cash to avoid a 2.5% credit card surcharge.
