This review is long overdue. Nitesh and his team have been taking care of my "senior" car so well for the last 2 years, ever since I moved to the south bay. But the story begins three years ago. I first met Nitesh in November 2020, while we house sitting for friends in the south bay on a rainy November morning. Suddenly, the car needed a battery and he was recommended by the AAA tow truck driver who jump started my old battery. Nitesh was open and replaced the battery that same day in like 45 minutes. When I moved to the south bay in late 2021, Nitesh helped me give my car a good once over and tune up and make some proactive repairs. I was living alone at the time and I needed my car to be reliable. Although my car is quite old, I wasn't ready to give her up given how expensive cars have been since the pandemic. Not long after that I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. I'm fine now; but Not once did she ever fail us for two years, despite endless drives to and from the doctors appointments, radiology, and back and forth to the city. What a relief it was to know my car was steady during that difficult time. As just one example: I felt like my headlights were getting dimmer, and thought given the age of the car they'd need to be replaced; but Nitesh said, no way, they just needed to be cleaned. they threw this in while the work I mentioned above was being done. Nitesh often(not alwaays, depends on availability) has loaners he can provide while your car is being fixed, something I truly appreciate. Nitesh gives me his cell phone and he answers his texts. I've had some other minor things crop up and he's so responsive and helpful on surprisingly short notice. If you are a woman who lives alone, Nitesh is a good reliable mechanic who will treat you fairly and make sure you are safe. His team is wonderful, too. Recently, he recommended a body shop when my car was hit in a parking lot. They are also amazing. Good people know good people. We are lucky to have such a great mechanic here in the south bay. read more

Had to leave a positive review for Nitesh and his crew. Came in for a quote for front end work but Nitesh spotted a coolant leak on my frontier. He didn't charge anything for a quick inspection and both quotes, which I think is nice for the things that are more obvious, of course. I highly recommend this auto shop. I had my vehicle towed to this shop and when the tow truck driver picked it up from my house they said they had towed many vehicle's to this shop (so it must be highly recommended). That gave me a sense of relief after being semi scammed from a previous mechanic who works from home. This shop also offers after hours drop off. The next morning Nitesh called me and was very informative of what was going on with my vehicle and told me what was wrong with it and what needed to be replaced and what my total cost would be and approximately how long the process would take . He called me sooner than expected that my vehicle was completed. I arrived to the shop and met Nitesh,he again explained in person what he found wrong with my vehicle and what he replaced. I was told by the dealer and another auto place to get the brakes fluid flush as the brake fluid has been contaminated(due to time I guess - 5-year-old car). The dealer quoted me $200 and another place $160. I am good with tools and was wondering if I should learn and do this myself. During my research I thought of giving Yelp query a try and yelp sent a query to Zip-in-Auto. They quoted me a price which I thought was fair and accommodated me in the morning, same day(which was a national holiday btw). So much better when you do not have to leave work to get your car fixed!. Anyways, I reached the place, gave my car, and the flush was done within 45 mins. I stayed back. Nitesh's place is very busy(people kept showing up!). But he still managed to talk and build relationships. I also asked them to service the battery and to clean the corrosion on my battery terminal - Nitesh did it for free(dealer was asking $60). He also installed the wiper blades for free(charged only $15 per blade - bosch). Definitely give them a try. Nitesh seems knowledgable. First time looking to get my car serviced not at Honda dealership for routine work. Called and messaged other shops on Yelp and just to find the source / verify my inkling that it was a bad wheel bearing wanted to charge $150 -165. Called the shop little after 8 am, answered on first ring , owner told me to come by at 9 am for FREE diagnostic exam. First good sign, so I went for it. Shop was not too hard to find. Plenty of Parking . When I got there I was greeted at the desk by the owner Nikesh. He was nice and we had a nice little conversation, he went over what his shop offers and that he has loaner cars for customers for FREE. I let him know what my concern was, front wheels were noisy making humming almost a slight rumbling noise when I accelerate and when turning. He checked me in and took the car drove it around the lot, out on the street and back, drove it into one of his shop bays and examined the car up on the lift. Not much of a waiting area, but chairs available near the office, and area is kept clean and open. After he was done inspecting, came back and reviewed all his findings with me in detail. Confirmed it was a bad wheel bearing on front left side. He also found other items which I knew needed to be addressed soon. He also informed me the front right wheel bearing on inspection will eventually need to be addressed since it was starting to leak out. He didn't pressure me to do both, gave me the option. Because we drive long distances often I decided to get both done. He offered me a bundle deal with other items since I was due for 90k/100k maintenance service items, he was honest and showed me on his computer the cost of the items from his wholesalers at his price (we were talking about how price of everything is crazy expensive now). Over all I did not feel intimidated or leave feeling that his establishment was trying to rip me off. Customer service is key and this shop has it. And I'm just a few hours I got a call from his sweet wife that my car was ready. When I got back to the shop, she greeted me and reviewed all the service items done, Checking out was very fast. Car is good as new, quiet and smooth as butter. Quality work and he gives a 1 yr or 12K mile warranty on the parts he uses. I'm usually a take it to the Dealership person but I Will definitely be bringing back my car and other cars if we need any more work. Thanks Nikesh ! read more

This shop goes above and beyond each time and is very fairly priced. I first went there for an issue with my brakes, and the quote was about 50% less than other places with great reviews. They did a great job. I also went to them for a 90k mile service (again priced about 50% less than other places I called). They provide great service and can usually get you in the same day. Now I don't bother looking into other places because I know they provide great service at a great price. I've never written a review before but felt like I had to after my 3rd time going there. I called about my left brake light not working, and I was told to come in to check it out. They worked on it for 2 minutes and fixed it without even charging, and wouldn't accept a tip. It clearly was a simple fix, but other dealers would have been pricey and taken much longer. I am not a mechanically inclined person and often times preyed on by dishonest mechanics and often get ripped off. Nitesh is so honest and kind that he immediately knew what was wrong and did not charge me a dime for diagnosing the issues of my car. I traveled up to San Jose from LA to buy a hearse from a mortuary. I was ready to buy it until the check engine light turned on. I looked up the code and called Nitesh at Zip In Auto and I let him know the situation and the codes the reader gave. Nitesh straight up let me know that the codes meant that the transmission was going out and it would be over 6,000 to get it fixed and his advice was to not buy it. Of course I took his advice. I was referred to Zip In Auto by Jiffy Lube in Campbell. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I pulled into their parking lot with the car making a whistling noise out of the right passenger side rear tire. I had just spent three days on bumpy dirt roads on a horse ranch and thought for sure I had damaged the axle. Nitesh had my car inspected right away and discovered that the culprit was a mid-size rock lodged in the brake pad. He didn't even charge me for the service since it was such a minor matter. We took our car in for an oil change and to check the tire pressure. They damaged the rear of the car while working on the car. We paid for the oil change, but the change oil light is still on (Either they did not do it, or they did not finish the job = forgot to reset it). The tire light was also still on. We took the car to a tire store and found out that all of the tires were very over-inflated. It is hard to believe that this is just a mistake. Considering many other people have had their cars serviced just fine, we believe this was done on purpose. Very unprofessional. The receipt says they also did a tire rotation, brake inspection, etc., and we paid for it, but given what they have done, it would be safe to assume they did not do it or made things worse. We will take the car to a different auto shop soon for our safety. read more

Very professional. I have been looking around for a good place to change my oil and by chance and fate I found this sweet place. Many thanks to Valpak and Yelp for this. Never knew I would find such professionalism from an auto shop. The owner and has wife are really sweet in responding to our needs. I must say not only is it a good place to change oil but while you wait there is a good place to bring a dog for some fun nearby or get some exercise. I must declare my mum's car was finished in 30 minutes yay. If you are opting to stay on site there are places for you to use your phone. Of course with a pandemic that is not 100% possible but what matters the most is that my oil is changed at a fair price.
