I loved there was numerous options of glamping levels included traditional tents, tents with AC/heat, and the rock cavern (which we stayed in). The host Trevor was so nice and even made us complimentary pancakes and coffee for breakfast (and s'mores at night)! This spot is about an hour from Zion National Park, but the perfect location to soak up all of the views and peace of the area. They do offer all sorts of activities such as buggy rides, paint and sip, and other add ons which I thought was super cool as well. Would definitely recommend a visit! read more

This was a fun two night experience. Was super annoyed when we first got there- dirt in tent (suite) and stuff knocked over. They said there had been a wind storm. They came and took care of it. If you have a big vehicle you may have trouble backing down the drive- lots of rocks. Bed and pillows were super comfy. AC and heat in the tent. Outlets to plug in chargers . Remember it is camping, but just a little bit fancier. Pancakes in the morning is a nice touch. Rocky the dog is so cute. It was windy our second night there and that can be a bit unnerving since there are large boulders all around. About a one hour drive from Zion National Park. There are others places just outside the park with lots of shops and restaurants but this is worth a try. We were shown dinosaur foot prints... not sure if this is urban legend or what. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD. I booked and pre-paid this location via my travel agent with guaranteed air conditioning for my fiances' 65th birthday, who can't be out in a lot of heat. This reservation was confirmed. However, a minion name "Ernie" called me up and said that it did not have A/C and that I had to pay another $90 per night. Ernie refused to let me talk to management and hung up on me several times. Ernie then cancelled my reservation without informing me. It appears they were trying to gouge more money out of me for the 3 nights I booked. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are thieves and do not honor valid contracts. read more

We stayed at Zion Glamping adventures over the xmas holidays and while it was freezing and windy outside, the tents had great heating and comfortable beds. The staff are super welcoming and lovely and we had a great time. We brought the dogs and they were able to stay in the tent or hang out outside no problem. The sunsets there are really beautiful as well as the sunrise. Location wise, its not far from Zion and Kanab (about 45min to an hour) so lots to do around the area! there are even local hikes with waterfalls nearby. Each tent had its own campfire area and a picnic bench and outdoor chairs. I would make sure to bring a few extra lanterns if you're planning to cook. Bathroom wise, there were two wet room shower/bathrooms that were indoor. They were clean most of the time however at night some people seemed to shower with their muddy shoes on so the entire bathroom got muddy which was not nice. not sure how they can improve that (maybe wooden slats on top of the tile in the shower for no shoes? Honestly that was the only thing. otherwise it was great. They are planning to add more to the campsite so I can't wait to go back once the pool and spa are done. read more

This place was so cool. The views are great especially at night. Of course taking a picture at night wouldn't do it justice especially on my phone but trust, the twinkling of the campsites lights at night were magical. We picked a tent on the top so we had a little bit of a hike but after the first 3 times I got super used to it and adjusted to the altitude just fine. If you forget something they probably have it there. Theres a community fridge/ pantry, freshly made coffee daily with all the goodies to add, community bon fire with the host Marcel who brings stuff for smores. Theres several bbqs and each campsite has a small one if you dont feel like being in the common area. We had fun down there though. Played a game of corn hole and another guest, the homie from Long Beach came through with all the snacks. Thanks friend! 100% would come back! I want to stay a week next time and try out the outdoor showers. They have private indoor showers too. Bathrooms were clean. Omg I forgot the best part, Rocky, Marcels dog was the sweetest boy ever. Such a unique experience! Don't be fooled though, even though you are "Glamping", you are still camping! So prepare accordingly. The canvas tent was beautifully set up, with a queen size bed, a futon bed, 2 chairs and a table. We were provided two extra blankets, and 2 towels. All of the tents are spaced out nicely, and have numbers in front of them to distinguish which tent is yours. Outside of each tent, was a table and two benches, two chairs by the fire pit, and a small charcoal grill. You have the ability to buy bundles of wood right there on the property, but make sure you bring charcoal, matches, lighter fluid, etc. Fred was our host, and met us upon our arrival. He texted us ahead of time, and asked for our estimated arrival time, we were also asked to call when we were close. Downside: our phones were not really working, so the calling was difficult to do, but we were finally able to get a text message through. When we went there, the bathroom situation was portable restrooms, and you would use shower bags for showers. It did look as though they were in the process of building a shower/bathroom area, which I could see being helpful. The views you get at any time of the day are amazing. It is such a pretty area and so quiet. The road to get here is a little rough, very much a red dirt road. But overall we had a great experience. Bottom line, come prepared to camp, and you should make it through with a great time too. Things like: the charcoal, lighter fluid, matches helped. A flashlight and bug spray are a must! In addition, a cheap pan or pot, some dollar store tongs, knifes, cutting board, grab some foil, ziplock bags, hand sanitizer, etc.. Oh a bag of facial wipes helped so much out here for lots of different things. read more

Just spent three nights at Zion glamping adventures with our family and had a blast! We were greeted by the fabulous Ryan who was our host for most of the trip. Got escorted to two separate tents that I chose up on a perch. Probably should've thought about that before I chose one that required quite a hike up the hill! But it was absolutely beautiful. Every morning they had hot coffee and pancakes with all the fixings. And we were pleasantly surprised that their communal kitchen area had utensils, plasticware, and pretty much anything that anyone left in the refrigerator you could have. And hindsight, we probably more than we needed to. In fact, there's a great grocery store just 10 minutes away from the campsite so for those traveling, I would suggest get there first and then decide what you wanna do with regards to food. it is in the middle of the desert so you have tons of water! We did their adventure package so that included a sunset wagon tour the first night, sunset buggy tour, the second night, and the water canyon hike on the final day. Absolutely loved all of it! We spent a couple of days in Zion and did their most famous hikes. And most of us would agree that the water Canyon hike was the most beautiful of all. And literally just around the corner from the campsite. I very much look forward to coming back again to Zion adventure. it was a very memorable vacation for our entire family. read more

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! We were greeted by Marcel, who gave us a tour of the property. We were shown our super cozy tent that had a heater. The bed was so comfy. We felt so snuggled in. The tend is decorated really cute and it's impeccable. There is a great area to gather and meet other travelers. There was corn hole, tether ball and you can learn to lasso. The food was great, the scenery was outstanding, but this is camping so you have to be prepared for the dust and dirt which is not bad unless the wind kicks up but that's normal for camping. We drove in from Salt Lake City after work on a Friday so we weren't entirely sure what time we'd arrive. They were super flexible in letting us text when we were 30 minutes away to give them a heads up. We arrived & were greeted by a friendly guy who gave us the details of the campground, our tents, and the area--he even offered to build us a fire! Next morning as I was wiping the sleep from my eyes on my way to the shower, I was greeted by a really nice man that worked for the company and was staying in a tent on the grounds. Just one of those sorts of coils where you can sense good energy and super welcoming Next day we took a really fun ride on the side-by-sides with Shem and we couldn't have asked for a nicer experience. Lots of local information & insights, and it felt good know our driver knew the canyons like the back of his hand since he'd grown up there. Even his adorable little one joined us, Hudson, and was super well-behaved. He pointed out a local creamery shop on the drive and we stopped to get fresh frozen yogurt and squeaky cheese curds. Shem dropped us off at the camp site and we still had some energy so drove up to the water canyon to hike for a few hours. Definitely recommend getting all the way back in the valley because the water coming from the rock with all the foliage growing is gorgeous and worth the sore calves the next day. Zion Glamping Adventures - The morning snow 11/8/20 - Campgrounds Near Me - Hildale, Utah

We booked ZGA a couple of months out when we secured a backpacking permit for the Zion Subway trail. Upon arrival, there was a glitch that had said we only booked for 1 night instead of two, they were able to correct this issue fairly quickly and we settled into tent #17. There's no actual check-in building, you need to contact the host upon arrival or give an accurate eta. Wasn't an issue for us. Tent #17 is in a great location, close to the road, more private, raised from the ground, and away from the center, with parking next to it. Our camp host, Marcel(sp?), is fantastic. He had great suggestions for hikes around the area and made pancakes and coffee each morning (which btw both tasted great). Our area had a firepit, a separate charcoal grill, a picnic table, and 4 folding chairs. We picked up wine, charcoal, wood, and steaks at the local market, Bee's Marketplace, which had a fantastic wine selection, great produce, and pre-marinated meats. Perfect for glamping. The market was less than 10 minutes away. The town it's in doesn't really have much by way of restaurants. I'd stick to Bee's market or Zion for great food. We grilled dinner the first night and spent the night under a new moon, the stars, and Milkyway. It was beautiful. The beds were really comfortable. There was a heater+AC, but we didn't need to use it. The weather for the weekend was perfect, with no clouds, 85 high, and 55 lows. Highly recommend it, and would do it again. read more

PRO - beautiful area and view! This is the 2 stars. CON - bare minimum and for close to 300 a night I would expect more amenities. Firewood was 8 dollars and we asked for a paper plate and fork for our food and was told they were for his pancake breakfast . He gave it to us but reluctantly. Gas grill was empty and pots and pans were dirty. First night Marcel was great and helped us with our private fire but second night was busy and he was alone and could not help us. He was understaffed bad most places are but could use help. It was a windy night and the wind blew our tent in. The tents were flimsy for the area and a pole fell on us.. I am sure it is windy more often than not. read more

Marcel was there to greet us on arrival, was very helpful in providing information about the location as well as surrounding areas, and made killer pancakes every morning! He really made the place feel like home. There is an area in the front where guests can gather to play games and have nightly smores, the place gets even better when Rocky makes a visit and comes to play. (Sweetest dog ever!) The site also has ponies and they offer hiking, horseback, and UTV tours. There are stores and gas stations near by and endless adventures. We totally recommend this place!! read more

My three galfriends and I had a girl's trip here for three days and two nights. It was one of the best experiences we've ever had! Shane and Sherrie, the owners, were such amazing hosts! Sherrie let us stay in the tent with the best view (in our opinion). Shane made sure we had everything we needed and even help us set up our campfires both nights! They were there every day and checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Then tents are huge and the beds are so comfy! The Glamping location was gorgeous and hidden in the hill side. They offer a bunch of activities on site as well. Maria, Shawn, Shad, and the hosts all went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel as comfortable as possible. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the glamping tents for one night over labor day weekend to escape the Los Angeles heat wave. We are so happy we booked this spontaneous trip! The tent was clean, beds were comfortable, and even had outlets available inside the tent. The scenery of the campsite is spectacular. The stars at night are out of this world. I've never seen so many stars! Shane, the campsite host, was very helpful; he gave us tips on local hiking spots and let us know where to get the best natural spring water at Maxwell park. He also helped us start our campfire. The public bathroom and shower were clean and practical. We would definitely stay here again! We even heard that the tent will get AC soon? My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights over the Labor Day 2018 long weekend and had an amazing time! I highly recommend this as it is slightly above "roughing" it though you still get the nature and sense of adventure. The camp itself is located in a secluded mountain area in the small town of Hildale. It is within 10 minutes of a supermarket and gas station. It is about a 50 minute drive to Springdale (gateway to Zion). The drive to Zion is very scenic. Fred is a great host and was very friendly and accommodating. His daughters are adorable. We chose a tent with a queen size bed because there were only two of us. Inside our tent was a table and two chairs, as well as a small couch and of course the queen size bed. The tent does not have a heater and it did get quite chilly at night even though it was 90+ during the day. You are given a 5 gallon jug of water each day. You are also given a bundle of firewood each day. The firewood that is included is cheap and burns very quickly. You can purchase an additional bundle of better quality wood for $5. Each tent has a small round table top charcoal grill, and one LED lantern and chairs to sit around the fire pit. Cheap BBQ tools are provided but I recommend you bring your own as the ones provided were dirty and very cheap feeling. You need to provide your own charcoal. For cooking, I recommend bringing bbq tools (such as brush, spatula, fork), charcoal, and a lighter or torch. We brought bbq tools, charcoal, a cooler, a kettle and a cast iron pan and ate like royalty. The camp itself also has two large propane grills. There are solar showers where the water is surprisingly comfortable. The toilet situation is porta-potty's (sp?) but if you are a guy, the world is your bathroom. Hildale is pretty small and I do not believe there are many restaurant options so I recommend bring charcoal and a cooler as you will likely have to cook. We did not have any issues with mosquitos but brought bug spray just in case. This is a great place for couples, groups of friends or family, and people with young children. read more

This is a great place to stay when exploring Zion and the surrounding area. We stayed 2 nights and it was a great experience. There are communal propane grills and games that help pass the time when you aren't out exploring. The owners are very friendly and friendly are available on call if you need help starting a fire, need more water, etc. This is a great alternative to traditional camping. We weren't able to use the solar showers since it was cold and raining during our stay, But springdale has showers outside the Zion entrance, so that was not a problem. read more
