I wish there was an actual Soccer Planet…read more.. I'd want to move there in a heartbeat, unfortunately the one here on Earth isn't quite that great. It sits squarely in the hood....24th & Fruitridge. The parking situation has got to be the worst ever. No one adheres to the lovely painted lines, and cars are jam packed in there like it's a used car parking lot. My main issue is the referee's. They don't ever seem to have a handle on the games, things get very physical and could potentially escalate. I pay to play soccer and in hopes to have a good time, I sure as hell don't play to have broken bones or continual bruises. I can see this situation becoming very bad, I hope they do something about it soon. Oddly enough, they also have a handball court in here too. No one has ever been playing a game when I'm there, but it houses a great area for the little kids and big kids...aka spectators...to kick the ball around and run around in general! They definitely gave this once steril warehouse facility a great new paint job. Planets, solar system, stars...very outer space looking...but what does outer space have to do with soccer? Absolutely nothing...so random.. However, they have about 7 LG TV's lined up, like you'd see at Best Buy, so its great to catch a sports game while you are playing soccer. Also, don't run late, because you have to check in at the window and get a silly paper bracelet, which validates you playing on the field. Go figure... Hope you don't get lost like Pluto...

It's also been here for over 13 years now, and yet no one has reviewed it when I tried to search for it to review here on Yelp. So, here I am. =) We like this park as it's within walking distance from our house and it's relatively quiet and not overly busy although when the weather is good, it can get relatively crowded and even really busy. There's just one playground/play structure, but it's usually good enough. There's a swing set too and then there's a long walkway that winds along the whole park and lots of grassy area. There's also a baseball field and it can get busy over there when there's games. People also like to set up their own vball net and play some volleyball on the grassy areas. Overall, it's a nice little park right next to the elementary school. It is well kept up by Cosumnes Park and Rec and we (my kids) really like coming here for a spur of the moment fun! =)

Unlike most of the parks in the area there is no play area for kids, no benches, shade structure or onsite parking. Amentities: This park is strictly a multipurpose field but generally I have only seen it used for soccer. Nothing really wrong with this park really but it really isnt a park in a traditonal sense and more of a field. Parking situation out here is not great. Parking is street only on the Laguna Bond road. Despite being close to the Camden Passage there is not a direct path and its more of sidewalk until you can get to Camden Park. Decent for what it is, but not really a family park.

This park has no play area for kids to play. Only open space for youth soccer or baseball. The park is mainly used for youth soccer games during the weekends. I recall driving by the park many a weekend , seeing kids as well as parents engaged in the soccer game. The parking is limited to street parking only! My assessment of this park is "3 Star "

The person on the phone was polite and articulate to answer what I needed. The person even remembered me when I came in the store. Very rare to get this type of service. I am assuming the bad reviews are people who were educated and felt horrified about their lack of knowledge. Gun culture is an educated culture, be prepared to learn or abide by the safety standards and rules that adhere to them. Inside the store was clean and spacious areas. The department I needed was the firearms section, which was at the far end of the shop. That being said they have a wide collection of what I say good ammo that you can rely on for self-defense. What I can also say is that they do not gouge you on prices. The prices are well within reason, and they are updated ammunition. By updated I mean that they have different casings for those who know that grains and bullet type matter. That being said, getting plinking ammunition is a good to go here. You can trust the brands they have in stock and the staff for the firearms department is knowledgeable and friendly. Keep in mind the long wait is due to either education, or the long lengthy checks to get said items. That being said, pay your taxes, pay your registration fees, do your due diligence and you're out and about easy. I may bring in my gun to get checked by their smith. But TBH American Made Baretta 9mm FS is the far superior choice than the mass produced m9 and Italian made one. I don't think I need a service on my weapon in quite some time. Do your research, some things made in America, is better and not well advertised. This goes for the ammunition as well. To the dude who helped me. Thank you, man. Thank you for your service as well. Representing Americans to the finest quality one can hope for. Thank you. Update - Put the wrong review for the wrong location. Review is for the gun cleaning. Brought my gun in to be cleaned. I would do it myself, but I have a child, and those chemical fumes are strong. That being said professionals have better tools, cleaners, and or oils. Their selections of firearms are quite nice. My instructor likes a sig 1911. TBH I just think he likes the SIG brand. He changed his mind after a few rounds of the broken in Baretta. I prefer the Baretta 92 FS. Not the M9. Note. The M9 Baretta is the same model, except mass produced for the military - also easier to track supposedly. Jamming on said Baretta is due to reloading too fast and not waiting for a full decock and one in the chamber load. That being said, make sure the entire magazine is fitted securely then take the safety off. Point blank, the 92FS will cock with the safety on automatically when empty, this is the reload problem as some people are able to reload too fast before taking the safety off to decock. That being said, my 92FS shoots true in a bladed stance at rapid fire. Note. 5 round rapid fire, 15-20 feet distance from target, and before the target paper flies up can be done with the 92FS. Within range, within standard, with a hard skill set notation. Note. You will get kicked out for rapid fire in most shooting ranges. Note. I had to break in my gun with a lot of rounds before it rang true. Expect to spend 2k+ ammo of breaking in a 92FS. Note. This location sells firearms for rather cheap, and at a good price. Considering inflation, the cost they have is almost the cost my firearm cost a decade ago. According to their list my firearm is 30 bucks to clean. Took about 30min to clean maybe more. That being said the gun came back clean, not greasy and one definite caveat. No odor. I got called to the desk when the item was done. There is a bathroom in the facility so no need to worry while you are waiting. I think the dude even cleaned my gun case too. Wonderful service. Note. They have a membership cleaning service or something that I just ignored and wasn't pressed about it.

I do have to admit that this place is going down and it's gonna go out of business most likely…read moresoon. You can see on the organizational level that the management here is not giving effort into the store. They have the coolers sent out prominently in the front of the store to grab everybody's attention and yet there's no prices on any of them and they have multiple different ones. No display nothing. Then I went over to the wall to look at cooler for about 20 minutes, searching all the coolers on the wall. They were all disorganized and I could not tell what price was what on which one. They were coolers in the wrong places and no customer can tell where the price is for any of them. In the front of the store when I go to pay, they don't accept Apple Pay. This is 2026 and the only reason that I can possibly see why places like Home Depot Walmart and sportsman's warehouse only take cards is because with Apple Pay they can't get your address and information in their database. But when you use a card they can. I went to the back of the store to go look for lures and jig heads, and there was about three men back there shopping for stuff. I don't even know the guys, and I heard them actually say the same thing they can't find the prices. This is actually like job number one for a manager to manage. His employees in the story is to ensure that his merchandise actually has prices on it so the customers when they go when they buy really quick, they can find the prices really fast. Apparently not here. Do not recommend this place

Even their cousins and friends from their age up to 11 love it. I love that it's so big, open, for the most part clean (the tables could use a good wipe down) and in a great neighborhood. Difficult to lose eyes on your child, even if there are a bunch of kids around. They have a smaller children's playground, bigger children's playground, sand area, sitting zip line, lots of equipment to spin individually or as a group, lots of grass space to run, play, soccer, football, baseball and a basketball court. They also have many tables/seating under awnings for shade, or even in the sun if you want some color. It's a dinosaur themed park as they have Dino footprints on the sidewalk, Dino rockers, and during the summer they even have a small water spray area in the shape of a dinosaur's rib cage. The only downside is the water fountain doesn't work very well and no bathrooms. So make sure your kids go before you get to the park! Other than that, definitely one of my top Elk Grove parks and will be one for many more future play dates!

We even came on a windy day, and it was still a wonderful place to be. It is so spacious that it's the perfect spot to fly kites. A few of us were flying kites together, and it was such a relaxing, heartwarming experience. It's incredibly family and dog friendly, super roomy, and has so much going on. Because it's so clean and well maintained, this might just become the park I bring my kids to most often, and it is definitely a top choice for hosting future family events! It is perfect for a workout, sports activities, or just letting the kids play. I love the layout, especially how they designed the two separate grass areas where one sits at a lower elevation, while the other is level with the rest of the park. But honestly, what really blew me away was the restroom. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but I'm serious! So many park restrooms are cold, dark, dirty, and lacking privacy. This one felt downright luxurious. It is completely temperature controlled, which was especially nice since it was breezy outside! It was warm, well lit, exceptionally clean, and had absolutely no odor. It even sounded like it had a great ventilation system running. The only minor downside was the lack of toilet seat covers, but that's an easy fix. The entire park feels pretty new with a beautiful, modern design, conveniently located right behind the Sky River Casino. Highly recommend checking it out! Rate: 10/10
