Wow, this was my first time visiting this park, and I am genuinely impressed! My family and I came…read morehere on a Sunday evening to wind down and end our day, and it is by far one of the best and cleanest parks in the Elk Grove area. We even came on a windy day, and it was still a wonderful place to be. It is so spacious that it's the perfect spot to fly kites. A few of us were flying kites together, and it was such a relaxing, heartwarming experience. It's incredibly family and dog friendly, super roomy, and has so much going on. Because it's so clean and well maintained, this might just become the park I bring my kids to most often, and it is definitely a top choice for hosting future family events! It is perfect for a workout, sports activities, or just letting the kids play. I love the layout, especially how they designed the two separate grass areas where one sits at a lower elevation, while the other is level with the rest of the park. But honestly, what really blew me away was the restroom. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but I'm serious! So many park restrooms are cold, dark, dirty, and lacking privacy. This one felt downright luxurious. It is completely temperature controlled, which was especially nice since it was breezy outside! It was warm, well lit, exceptionally clean, and had absolutely no odor. It even sounded like it had a great ventilation system running. The only minor downside was the lack of toilet seat covers, but that's an easy fix. The entire park feels pretty new with a beautiful, modern design, conveniently located right behind the Sky River Casino. Highly recommend checking it out! Rate: 10/10

My kids started playing pickleball, and came to a clinic taught be a coach. It was good times. The courts are nice, they are heavily used according to the wife, as tons of people from all around town come here to play quite competitively in the mornings. Recreational players who are so good, they look like pros to us. Anyways, lots of retired folks and others who come to play because this is a great sport for all. Well, the kids look like they have enjoyed it so far, it looks to be fun. There's 6 courts here and very spacious. Nets look in good condition, courts look good too, the pavement looks a little worn here and there, but I also could tell it's all kept up pretty well. The fence here is good too, so it's pretty secluded, there's some seating w/a couple of tables w/a shaded patio cover right by the courts for resting if not playing. I took a few pictures of the BBQ area so I'd remember how much room there is for future parties, plenty of picnic tables and the water feature/spray park area is nice too. That part won't start till after Memorial Day, according to the wife. It was windy the day we came for pickleball, but I ended up playing a few games too after the clinic ended, and wife and I both had a good workout and it was fun. Must work these old bones or we'll fall apart, haha We'll be back.

There are pickle ball and tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds for kids, walking trails, and exercise equipment (great pull-up bars). Everything appeared to be well maintained, clean, and new. Quiet too.

We came on a Saturday evening around 6 pm and it was not crowded like most parks in EG. It has so much to offer! A huge open area of grass free to let your dogs and/or kids run, fly kites, have a picnic or if you're looking for a peaceful stroll there is also a serene trail to walk. The park is very unique and had my 3 year old so busy running up and down that massive hill, haha! My husband brought up a good point that they didn't have any swings to go on. Not a deal breaker for me but heads up for parents who have kids that love those. We did end up having dinner here to allow more playtime for our 3 year old. They have a few concrete picnic tables by the park and some more underneath their covered space by the water. Unlike EG Park, they had chest height fencing which was a plus because we're always scared for our kids falling in to the water. The fence didn't impede the view for us or our kids. They were all able to see the ducks, turtles, and birds as we fed them. I'd also like to add that these birds and ducks are not as aggressive as EG Park! I'd love to come back here again with a few toys to extend our visit and maximize all the amenities this park has to offer.

The only issues that I found were : location of the park was next to a busy intersection ! And parking was limited to street parking only. But over-all this is a lovely community park that offers it neighbors a safe and clean place for the kids to play, and for active adults with their miles of hiking trial.
