Extremely Disappointed With Ziebart and Regional Manager I normally don't leave reviews, but my experience with Ziebart - especially with their regional manager, Connor - deserves to be documented so others are aware. I brought my truck in for Ziebart service, expecting professional results. Instead, the work was rushed and sloppy. They globbed the Ziebart product all over my paint, and I had to bring the truck back because the job was so poorly done. That alone was frustrating, but unfortunately it got worse. When I picked up my vehicle the first time, I noticed a new dent that was absolutely not there before. Ziebart immediately claimed it didn't happen in their shop, yet they never completed any prior-damage paperwork on my truck when I dropped it off. No walk-around, no notation, nothing. If they're going to deny responsibility, the very least they should do is document vehicles properly -- but they didn't. Trying to get answers from management was just as disappointing. The regional manager, Connor, was incredibly unprofessional. Instead of helping resolve the situation, he was dismissive and refused to acknowledge their mistakes or the lack of documentation. For someone in a leadership position, the attitude and lack of accountability were shocking. I expected a reputable company to care about their work and their customers. Instead, I left with extra hassle, a dent that wasn't there before, and zero responsibility taken by their management. so far I've had 2 SUV's and 1 car interior detailing done. The work done was amazing! but let me tell yal about the detail job on my 2024 kia sportage. I have 5 foster kids and the inside of my car looked so bad every crumb you could think of was in every crevice! But when they finished it looked like I just bought iT with zero Miles. Smelled so good looked so fresh Phenomenal Job! the kids are gonna have to ride on the roof before they step foot in my car! ordered weather techs they will be in tomorrow! 10 out 10 highly recommend. Got the car detailed and got window tint for the windshield and front passenger drivers side. Did not want dark just enough to tame the hot sun and get some UV protection. The staff listened and delivered exactly what we requested for a fair price. When we left the windshield tint had lots of bubbles and we were told they would flatten out with time and they did. We took a 4 week drive through the southern U.S. and the tint did exactly what we wanted. Cooled the cabin and blocked the bright sun without us looking like gangsters! read more

CAUTION! Buyer Beware!!! Please avoid the Fairborn, Ohio Ziebart at all costs! As the other comments attest, their window tinting is very poor and often illegally too dark. It often has 'bubbles' in it that seem very low-class, especially for what they charge! Their detailing work is extremely expensive and subpar. My 14-year-old with a garden hose does a much better car wash. And as for interior cleaning - firstly, they don't do trunks, who'd have thought?! - and secondly what they do inside is a quick vac that leaves handfuls of dirt under the seats and floor pedals. Before even considering using their paint protection, look at others' prices. These people use the thinnest material (yes there is a big difference) and just 'slap it on' resulting in it peeling off within a couple months. It takes several weeks to get an appointment to fix, and then they want to charge you to strip off all the old and reapply the new!!! Can you belief these ethics?! The Ziebart at 775 N. Wilson Rd. in Columbus OH took my 2024 Honda Ridgeline into their shop to have the Diamond Gloss replaced on my vehicle after it was hit with paint overspray the day before. What would have been an expensive paint job ended up costing me $221.44 with tax. The vehicle looks like it did when it was driven off the dealer's lot. Brought my truck here to have the bed coated and the windows tinted. Immediately upon arrival I was hit with UPSELLING. Guy acted like I was stupid for not "upgrading to the ceramic" window tint. When I got the final bill it turns out ceramic is included in the original price I paid so in the end they would of just got an extra $100 from me, who knows. They also left a bunch of white residue in my drivers window , chipped part of the window tint which will probably peel and put 35 miles on my truck!!!! They never disclosed they would be driving my truck off site and they did! I also had to dispute $50 because they said if i did not get the tailgate sprayed then they would take $50 off. They never did. The sprayed bed liner is missing in a lot of spots and uneven taping when sprayed was done. read more

Please Read! It will probably be a lengthy review but please take the time to read it. I HIGHLY regret using the Ziebart company for my rust proofing. On June 1, 2022 I brought my Ford Ranger to Ziebart located at 775 North Wilson Road Columbus,Ohio I had the complete rust proofing and underbody spray as well as the spray in bed liner and had the windows tinted th bill was nearly $1600 after being "up sold " for the front window tint and something else tied to the rust proofing. They sold me on the lifetime warranty. After waiting in Columbus all day for them to complete my truck I took it home only to realize there was overspray on my new rims, hood and passenger side of the truck, I also noticed the plastic on the rear bumper was stained and there was glue from the water mixed with tint glue all down my inner door panels. I called the manager and he said I could bring it back in and he'd look at it. Columbus is an hour each way for me. He said if I use mineral spirits I could get the overspray off. I opted to do it myself versus burning another day off sitting at Ziebart. In May 2023 I received a reminder that I needed to have my truck inspected to keep the lifetime warranty. Today May 18, 2023 I made an appointment and took my truck to 775 N Wilson road where he told me it would take about an hour to power wash the underside of my truck and inspect it for any rust. I walked down the street to McDonald's and had lunch and returned in less that 40 minutes, I was delighted to see my truck was complete. I paid $57.68 for this service. As I got into my truck and drove away it dawned in me that there was no water on the ground from the bottom of my truck being power washed like I paid for. When I arrived home I crawled under the truck and was disappointed to find that no power washing had taken place. The underside had mud on it from me driving in a field two days before. I called Ziebart back and spoke to Josh. I explained my concerns and that I was quite upset as I took the day off of work and drove an hour each way to have the work performed. I was very direct when speaking to Josh. He got very defensive and told me it wasn't his fault and I shouldn't be upset with him. I asked to speak to the shop manager and said I didn't want to hurt his (Josh's) feeling he asked me to repeat myself so I did. At that point Josh told me I could call the Corporate office and HUNG UP ON ME. I immediately called back and Josh answered the phone and put me on hold. No one ever answered the phone. I then called to corporate office in Troy, MI I left a message explaining the situation. I later called Ziebart again using *67 to hide my phone number. This time I was able to speak to Andy the shop manager. I again asked explained the situation. Andy just like the year before told me if I would like to bring my truck back to Columbus he would do the job correctly this time. I again as in the previous year explained I was an hour away and I could not drive back to Columbus after spending three hours earlier in the day. I explained to Andy he could make it right if he simply credit my account so when I come back next year the charges would be covered. He was unwilling to do this saying it would "void " my warranty. I'm not sure but he must think I am a complete idiot. After speaking to the cooperate office it turns out the stores are franchise owned and the owner that owns this location on Wilson is a multi unit owner. The cooperate office would not give me a phone number stating that they want a "paper trail" I find this odd as well. She stated she would send me an email and someone would email me. I have not received any emails or returned phone calls three days later. read more

Dropped off my new sedan to get the whole package, ceramic coating, invisabra, window tinting all around, interior coating for stains, you name it I bought it. My husband went in to pay for it before leaving & they pushed and pushed for us to buy more. We litterly already wanted everything! What was there to push for? A freakin credit card through them. I'm paying for this all upfront, why would you push a credit card on me. Whatever-- moving on. We were told it could get done in 2 days.. dropped it off Monday the 30th, it is now Friday the 3rd & we were told it'll be 3 more days. Even better, my husband called Wednesday they said the ceramic coating wasn't done & it would be longer, frustrated but moving on. Then yesterday to get a new update & they said it was done but it couldn't be picked up til the next day. Well, why is that when you just told me everything was done? Caught in a lie. My husband asked him to just be honest, he said "well my manager isn't here right now" ... why would you need your manager there to be honest with a customer that paid you almost $3k for the fully loaded package? After the complete run around, we picked up the car without the ceramic coating being completed because honestly, I'm doubting they even do a lot of the work that customers are paying for. read more

I took my car in for an issue that was under warranty. When I walked in the door the dude behind the counter was not wearing a mask. I told him I am a cancer survivor and I am immune compromised and would be grateful if he would wear his mask. I was polite. I'm a small lady and not in the least intimidating to a young adult man. He refused to wear it. I didn't want to wait in the sleet for an hour so I had to get my car, leave, and not get the warranty work done. I guess if you're an individual business and you want to tell cancer survivors to f**k off, and leave, that's your prerogative. But this is a franchise and just being plain mean to a lady who is a cancer survivor is pretty terrible. I'm in love. My fabulous and I do mean FABULOUS boyfriend booked me an appointment a few weeks back to have my Mitsubishi Convertible detailed yesterday. I live far from Wilson Rd on the opposite end of town so riding my car over super early yesterday was an early AM journey with mild expectations. Got a text from him around 12:30 "car is done." Wow. We dropped if off at 730. Cool! They close at 530 and he was out of town for the day on business. This AM he came by to pick me up and take me back to Ziebart to get my car. It's BRAND NEW minus the 64k miles put on it. The rims, the tires, the car itself, the inside the detail in complete and total cleanliness is indescribable. All of my personals (mats included) were pulled from the inside and safely in plastic bags in the trunk. I was afraid to breathe in the car today running around on business! I've already told several friend you have GOT to go to this location. Worth the ride over, worth the value in cost and service. I'm blown away. Love, love, love my fabulous boyfriend. Picture it: the car ride home after hosting a charity event, I'm transporting leftover curry zucchini soup, and I hit a bump. A big bump. And curry zucchini soup exploded in my car. The stench and the neon yellow puddles were more than I could tackle by myself, so I called Ziebart. My bff had used them a year or so earlier, and they did a great job with the detailing. So I set up an appointment! The office manager was super friendly and helpful, and he told me that detailing was even on special! So instead of ~$140, I only had to pay ~$100. SA-weet! Then I overslept and completely missed my first appointment, but the nice folks at Ziebart said it was no big deal and let me reschedule for the next day. When I dropped off my car, I made it a point to tell them the major places where the soup had spilled. It was also *really* obvious because of the neon yellow. So I was surprised when I picked up my Honda later that day and the front passenger seat was still filled with spilled soup! I *hate* having to ask someone to re-do something, but I just couldn't stomach paying $100 and have that soup still in my car. I told the office manager what had happened, and he was incredibly apologetic. The detailer had already gone home for the day, so the office manager offered to finish the job himself if I were willing to wait. I agreed, but this definitely put me behind schedule and late for my other meetings that day. Overall, Ziebart did a nice job detailing my car, and they were customer service pros when it came to overcoming a mistake. Had decided to get my windows tinted and Ziebart was right by my job. I set up an appointment and when I came in I told them I was going to have to wait, it took about 3 hours and the job looks great. While there I saw the manager do several transactions and he did seem to push things on people they may not have needed but I am told they are paid based on commission. One complaint I have was the window tint guy, although did a good job was doing nothing but complaining because he did not feel he was being paid enough money and said he could make more money sitting at home doing a few tint jobs a week on the side, not something I want to hear as a customer. Also, Ziebart advertises that their window tint people are professionally trained and certified, the guy that did my car said he had no training from Ziebart and was not certified. What threw me off about it was they list three different tints and each starting at a different price, but they only offered the middle of the road window tint. I am was given written guarantee that the tint will not peel, fade or bubble for 10 years which is longer than I will have the car I am sure. I was shocked to get a $50 giftcard in the mail from Ziebart today as a thank you for my business but it expires in a month so I am not sure I will use it. read more

No problem, then when it was my appointment they had me come in a hour later.. the tint in my car it was decent, however the tint from the back window started to get bubbles. Salesperson shared new products, did his thing, made me aware but neither pushy or made me feel like a jerk for not purchasing. Quality of work was strong as usual and it didn't take long. Called around to check out pricing for sprayed on bed liner for my new truck. Locally, I found Ziebart and Line X on Wilson Rd. Ziebart was priced $50.00 higher for the services. I asked the Ziebart manager if they would price compare with Line X. He absolutely refused to drop his price. In the end, I am glad he did not. The manager at Line X took my truck in as soon as I arrived. He even dropped me off at the local Waffle House to have breakfast and picked me up as soon as my truck was finished! Their workmanship was awesome! Very professional.... and less expensive than Ziebart. read more

When I bought my Chrysler 300 I started researching where to get the windows tinted and what kind of tinting to get. My baby bother told me our father had always used Ziebart on Wilson Rd. They were the only ones who could satisfy his need for perfection. I had a lot of questions and Scott was so patient with me. I was not satisfied with two of the windows. Scott redid my windows two times before I was satisfied. And I am extremely satisfied! I LOVE my windows! And how awesome is Scott?!? He didn't let me leave until I was completely satisfied! I have waited over a month since my last communication with Scott, the local manager in Columbus, to write this review. I was giving Ziebart a chance to contact me, but it has not happened. I took my new Ford F-150 Lariat in for vehicle under coating, window tinting and a clear bra. Upon completion of the vehicle, Scott and I walked out to the truck and there were numerous air bubbles that he said would eventually go away. It should have been a red flag. I drove the vehicle home and the air bubbles never went away. When I looked closer at the hood, I noticed some scratches where the bra was installed. There were 6 places on the hood that the paint was scratched to the metal. Pictures below. Two of these scratches were over 12 inches long. I emailed Ziebart via the website and left many messages. No one returned my phone calls. I had to call Scott again. I took my truck in and he told me that he could "buff" the scratches out. I told him that I wanted my vehicle returned to the condition that I brought it in to him. After several days passed, I left many messages with Scott and then had to contact Ziebart headquarters again to get someone to communicate with me. I understand that accidents happen, but their communication apparatus is the poorest I have ever dealt with. I had to contact Ziebart headquarters via the website to get Scott to return phone calls. Finally, a gentlemen from Ziebart headquarters called me back after many messages. He said that their insurance company would contact me. I sent 3 separate estimates for the repairs. After two weeks, I was sent a check from their insurance company and it was lower than the lowest estimate. I was told that it was a "negotiated" rate and given no choice but to accept it. Then I called Scott to ask for a refund. I was told that I could bring my vehicle in and maybe get a refund after he looked at the repairs and approved them. I replied that there was no way that my vehicle was going to touch his property ever again after what was done to it. I am still waiting on Ziebart to contact me. It has been over a month now, and no one from Ziebart headquarters has reached out to me or made an effort to make this situation right. They should refund my money for the complete botched job on my truck. I work in television broadcast and word of mouth is the best/worst advertisement. I will go to the grave telling everyone I know how bad Ziebart handled this situation. I will never recommend their services to anyone. I still don't understand how Ziebart headquarters did not reach out and check if their insurance took care of me. There has been ZERO follow up from Ziebart. They had numerous chances to make this right and they failed miserably. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. read more

I walked in on a Saturday morning to get a price to tint all the windows on my Tacoma. Scott met me right away and spent all the time needed to answer my questions. I scheduled an appointment for two days later. The day of the appointment, I was told the appointment would be just under 4 hours. What do you know, about 3 hours 45 minutes later I got the call that the technician was just finishing up. When I got there about 20 minutes later, my truck was back in the bay, and Scott told me he wasn't satisfied with one of the windows, so they were going to re-do the window. Only waited maybe another 20 minutes and I was out the door. The tint looks incredible. I already have convinced my neighbor to schedule an appointment to get his Infinity tinted there. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I called a week ago and they said someone would call me back. They didn't. I called earlier today and was told with the information I had it would be around $650 but with more accurate info they could give me a better estimate. Just called back with complete details and the man that answered the phone did NOT listen to a word I said then gave me an estimate of $900-1500 and then said he had 3 customers he'd call me back. He should have said that before he got into a conversation with me because he obviously wasn't listening to the vehicle info I was giving him.
