DO NOT GO HERE! The Ziebart in Cicero, New York has lost our business after 10+ years with them. They did not finish the job that we asked them to do. The sticky residue was still on the handle under the passenger side seat after I told them it was there and needed clean. When I brought it to their attention, they told me that they would not clean it. After we paid $500 for the premium package. This isn't the only time that they haven't finished cleaning the inside of the car over the past 10+ years. We've given them several chances in the past where we had to bring the car back a second time. DONE!!!! I do not recommend this location. Seeing as we live in CNY and deal with nothing but water and salt here, and since I'm the type to drive vehicles into the ground before I buy new ones, I decided it was a worthwhile investment. 2 months later, I spill a little water while taking a drink and end up with a water stain on my seat. I called Ziebart, had a great customer service experience with Judy, who said she would squeeze me in on Saturday morning, just 2 days after I called. I arrived right at the time she told me, and was told 15 minutes and I'd be good to go. They fit me in between appointments, and 15 minutes later when I returned, my car was ready just as they said, and the stain was gone, no charge. I honestly was a little worried by some of the reviews, and just feeling as if there was gonna be SOME way where it wasn't "covered by the waranty" and I'd somehow have to come out of pocket, but I had nothing but a great experience with Ziebart. read more

Car Dropped off with no damage, Scratched and dented upon return. Had to get my car engine detailed, and dropped it off. Employee and I went around the whole car finding no scratches, dents or any issues at dropoff (outside of some dirt marks that we checked every one). Upon pickup, was found very scratched, with dents on one side in multiple spots on one side, including a 1/2 inch heavy scratch with a dent that matched. It was claimed by the company that it was not their responsibility as it was there upon work starting on the car, even with an employee attesting to the damage not being there at dropoff. They were stating it was not by them therefore they can happily be paid to buff out all the scratches. read more

However, after having great customer service and pricing on the undercoating and rust treatment, I opted to stay the course. I'm beyond pleased with how well the truck turned out. We recently brought our Ford Edge to Ziebart in to have it undercoated , rustproofed, detailed and diamond coating applied. First of all let me say that as soon as we walked in to the office Shannon greeted us with a big smile. She was very professional in the way she handled the initial experience. Then we spoke with Zack. He promised us good service and gave us the cost. He said that the car would be ready the following morning. We went back the following morning to pick the car up and in fact is was not completed at all. I would have to say that Zack dropped the ball on this job. We told them to please complete the car and we will be back the following day. Now mind you they had the car now for over two days. When we went back to pick up the car there were still spots that were not done ( the bottom interior door panels and the borders under the tailgate). When something like this happens it's makes you wonder what else they missed as they went through the whole process.The interior detailing was good. We don't expect perfection but we do expect a complete job. Zack did do something he didn't have to. He touched up Five stone Knicks. And he did wipe the spot under the tailgate. But it definitely didn't shine. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and asked for a nice piece of steak and when you received it it was not cooked the way you wanted it and you sent it back? Then when you got it back the second time there was a hair in the mashed potatoes. At that point what would you do? Get up and walk out or give them another chance to make it right ? That's the way I felt about this experience. They just didn't get it right. Sorry!! But in my opinion Two strikes and you are out. We will return to have our yearly inspection at Ziebart but never will we get the car detailed there again. I highly doubt we are the only ones who feel this way. John B. read more

We had Ziebart do a detail on our Toyota Highlander using a promotion at the store where we would receive a $100.00 rebate. The detail was terrible. There was no care whatsoever with regards to the contents that were in the car after reassuring us they would take the contents out so we didn't have to worry about them. When we picked up the vehicle all of the items from the front were thrown/stuffed into the center console. Our things were everywhere and to make matters worse the car was still dirty. Windows not washed, streaks of dirt not cleaned on the floor area where feet would rub and they didn't even lift up the windshield wiper on the back to clean the window. We had to take it back for them to redo but it shouldn't have even come to that and now I find out the $100.00 rebate we were supposed to get has expired and we can't get it. This experience was the complete opposite - Customer service persisited in trying to upsell services FOUR times when we told them we weren't interested. THEN FAILED to do the detail we purchased at a premium price - After leaving my car for an entire day, I spent an hour after pick up cleaning the areas that were not done. I could have paid my teenager $20 for a better job. The Manager was beligerent and highly defensive. Her best resolution was: "you can bring it back" - well duh - I've already took care of it myself. DO NOT use this company it is a complete rip off. After posting this review, I was contacted by a representative from the SYRACUSE, NY location and they offered a voucher for a free detail at my convenience to make up for the trouble I experienced. I went here for a vehicle rest proof undercoat, they let me know all of the plans that they had so I wasn't missing out on anything and they let me choose. I came back a few hours later and checked it all out I did have a question about one part they fully explained everything, they talk to us like human beings and not just like a costumers, they're friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable in their expertise. When you deal with sales, they always want to up sell a product, but when you ask questions in reference of their up selling, it's always the down talk of, "we can take care of it"...yet when you agree to have the work done and paid at a Kings ransom, the quality of the work is literally hideous! This business does not acknowledge people who take pride of their own personal vehicles. Even if you have a ten year old Hyundai Elantra, the fact is observe the work order and abide to the customers needs. When I have my annual "check in" for my car, I get edgy and overly annoyed with the people there-always pushing something to make a sale off of you. And I'm careful not to sound condescending since these sales people do not have any clue of anything that is any related to the automotive industry by all means. So when I agree and paid to have something done, and see the results that are not even detailed to any expectations, and then I would have to point out the "missed" spots that should've been cleaned in the first place, especially wheel rims and areas on the car that would need to be cleaned to keep debris out so it will not rot out the metal. And you will still need to clean up the mess after the fact-why? Because the managers and the business owners do not look at the quality of the work, only the numbers that appear for the bonuses. read more

I was gifted a full car detail certificate with Ziebart (a $300 value) after taking part in a drawing at work this summer. Instead, I decided to give it to my dad since he recently bought a new Ford F-150 and my Jeep Compass is leased. He took it in to Ziebart in Cicero during the second week of September for the full car detail. He ended up walking out of their office in Cicero having to pay an additional $299, his bed liner thrown in the dumpster and a hole in his tonneau cover. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. What company does this? You go in with a gift card, and it's almost as if it's a curse. He purchased his bed liner at a Ford dealership in Clay for $500, only to come back to his truck without it there. When asking where his incredibly expensive bed liner was, the guys working at the shop that day responded, "I can go check in the dumpster." Huh? Are you serious? So you detail the inside of his truck bed and then THROW AWAY his bed liner? What kind of operation is this? Just wait, this gets better. When he arrives to pick up his truck he instantly notices there's wood dust all over his tonneau cover. It had never even been wiped down. You'd think for a car detailing business that they'd also be in the business of presentation. Uh, no. Not these guys. Once they finished wiping off the tonneau cover (on his demands and not the goodness of their own hearts), he's walking around his truck and notices a hole in the edge of his tonneau cover. Again, how does this even happen? Unacceptable. Period. If I could give this place a NEGATIVE star rating then I would. Long story short, don't waste your time with this place, especially if you have a gift card. They'll try to sell you things and God knows what they actually do with your car. He also had an extra 30 miles showing up on his speedometer gauge from when he dropped it off to when he picked it up, meaning somebody went for a joy ride with his new truck. Find somewhere else. You're paying outrageous prices for extremely low quality work and very bad customer service. I got a complete detail and it was lacking to say the least. Smudges all over the front console and hardware in my car. Really terrible, subpar job for how much money they charge. Aside from that, ziebart does not honor previously purchased gift cards that are already on file... even though manager who sold them to me said they are permanently on file. Complete ripoff. Incompetent and rude management. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They will always try to upsell you and tack on more of their terrible services or add ons for your car (mud flaps). Took my car to ziebart to get a full detail. $300 later I go to drive away and notice the tint on all 4 of my windows has chips in it. This was brought to the attention of the manager and he said it must've come in that way. I drive this vehicle everyday, I would notice chips out of my window tint. When I told him this he brought out the person that cleaned my vehicle and he insisted they use nothing abrasive on windows. He blamed it on bubbles. There were no bubbles and no chips before bringing it into their shop. He refused to compensate me in anyway. In addition to this after driving away I noticed all of my compartment were still dirty, they had not been wiped out, and there was a sticky substance around the gear shift that I easily chipped off with a fingernail. They also did not condition my leather. For $300 I expect much more attention to detail. I also expect to be compensated when you damage my vehicle while working on it. I have mostly good experiences here. Spent probably close to $6000 for all the work on my car at Ziebart. Diamond gloss, undercoat, plastic coating on my doors hood fenders tips and tailgate, lights, rain x on Windows the whole shabang. Moved out of state shortly after but had all my work completed in NY prior to moving. Got my yearly check up if you will, with my local Ziebart in TN to ensure undercoat didn't need to be touched up or anything. I was told that the work done in NY was not complete to Ziebart standards and that my undercoat was not done accurately. Sad that this happened to me. When you pay this much for a product you want the job done right. Disappointed in cicero for not giving me what I paid for. Long story short TN called NY Ziebart who straightened it out and the undercoat was re-done entirely which was paid for by NY. If it was done right the first time someone else wouldn't have had to re do it. Be careful and make sure you get what you pay for! read more

South Bay Road Store Cicero, Had my new truck in to rustproof and to undercoat bottom of truck. I can see the black undercoating but very poorly done. I cant find any of the rustproofing anywhere on the truck. I inspected inside the doors, I pulled the rubber plugs in the doors and body of the truck and could find no rustproofing spray inside. No spray is visible at any drain holes on any of the four door bottoms and it is not coated visibly through those holes. Im going to give them one chance to correct this before I take them to small claims court for the money back. I feel taken and my new truck left to rust with no protection. read more

I am quite satisfied with these services and the payment option. My car was finished a bit earlier than promised. I am very happy with the way I was treated and I am happy Ziebart is in other cities just in case I need their services. Worst customer service ever! Scheduled for today, get there and not on schedule.. I was told one price then charged another price. They finally said they would refund the difference, then I was told they could not do over the rail as we had talked about in detail and agreed upon due to plastic rail caps needing to be removed for the over the rail bed-liner. Was given the excuse it is against our policy to remove them. Ended up having them refund my money and not do the work. If a company is that unprofessional in the customer service and in dealing with there customers, I could only assume to quality of their work would match..I would not recommend dealing with the Cicero location or the Hiawatha Blvd location of Ziebart as they are operated as one. First time I've ever had my car professionally detailed by Ziebart. It was for my wife's 2010 Grand Caravan. Scheduling was easy, customer service was great. When I returned to pick it up, the vehicle was ready, as promised. The associate came out to go over it with me and she noticed a few things that she wanted touched up beforeshe released it. Even though I thought it looked great, she felt that it was not up to Ziebart's standard.
