Good-service person Gavin was friendly and great. Bad-spots did not come out of carpet in the traffic areas. Might be too old of a carpet

Nothing against Juan--he was professional and courteous. Unfortunately, my experience with the other technician was very disappointing. From the moment he arrived, it felt like he was more interested in finding reasons to increase the price than actually helping. Every small request seemed to be treated as an extra charge, and there was an unhelpful attitude throughout the service. Simple things, such as moving light bags out of the way, became an issue. The cleaning quality itself was below expectations as well; there were still visible spots on the carpet, including stains left behind from my child that should have been addressed during a professional carpet cleaning service. Overall, the service felt mediocre, overpriced, and customer-unfriendly. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company to friends or family, nor would I use the service again. I believe the company would benefit from focusing more on customer service, transparency in pricing, and delivering the level of cleaning customers are paying for. read more

We made an appointment for Zerorez to clean our carpets after being referred to them by a family member. The tech who came out "Juan" was very abrupt and confrontational when I showed up to go over the estimate with him. He was leaning against our freshly painted wall and rolling his eyes as he continually added on extra charges. Before we knew it the $129 special was now at $254. when I declined services and directed him to the door he accused me of touching him and threatened to call the police for harassing him? as he walked towards the door he yelled the F word several times at us and then finally left. We were all in disbelief of the situation. Please beware of any company that employs individuals like this. I was hoping to have a great experience but was greatly disappointed. Buyer beware! For what it's worth Trevor the Branch Manager did call me to apologize and was adamant that his company would not tolerate this type of behavior from their employees. Unfortunately the damage has already been done and I would not feel comfortable with him sending another technician out to my house. read more

Zerorez did another fantastic job on our carpets, stairs and couches; everything looks brand new again; Shane was our technician and did a wonderful job, you can tell he takes pride in his workmanship and really enjoys his job; he is very professional, knowledgeable and nice; we'll definitely request him for our next cleaning. Thanks Shane and Zerorez for the excellent service you always provide us. read more

If you want your carpets permanently damaged then use this company. I've attached photos, one is of the light stain I had before cleaning on my only 3 year old carpet, the second photo where the stain is much darker is after Zerorez "cleaned" my carpet. They were so aggressive and used heat and agitation to the point that they seared in the stain, made it darker and shredded the carpet fibers in the process. Now I have to replace my carpet. They have many reviews online because they are great at marketing and initially offer a competitive price, but pay attention to the low rated reviews. It's not worth sacrificing your carpet. read more

The first and worst aspect of working with this company is the female"customer service representative" who used a poor quality headset or cell phone where I could barely understand her when I called to make an appt. Apparently there was no one else who could take the call and no other phone she could use. She quoted me the wrong amount for the carpet cleaning I needed done AND although I requested an 11:00am appt., the requested technician showed up at 8:00am. Wyatt showed up at 11:00am, was very nice, courteous and did a good job. read more

It was very easy to work with this company. Scheduling was super easy. They were a bit late, but they did call to give me notice. I showed them the carpets I wanted cleaned, and the problem spots. They were able to make everything look fresh and new - AND there was no cleaning odor. The cost was very reasonable and they also gave me a promotion. I have scheduled them to come back and clean my upholstered furniture. Definitely recommend this company. read more

I'm not quite sure if anything was really accomplished. The man came out. On time. The man was incredibly polite and clear about what was going to be done. The price was clear. ( for the job) But....... What was done for $300.00 plus $50.00 ( some totally made up extra) Was 30 MINUTES. Of nothing. It was 30 minutes total. He only really went over the spots, which are all still there. The job was THE JOB. Not time, not guaranteed. It was just. I'll go over everything. And he didn't! Don't use this con-job business was. read more

I needed someone to come in to do a simple carpet cleaning since I had contractors install something in the morning and they refused to wear shoe covers and my new cream color carpet cannot be left unclean like that. The technician, Juan, was rude and irritable. He refused to park in the guest parking because he said it's too far from my doorway. Ok, fine. He insisted that the only place for him to park is in front of my garage door. I was concerned his van would block my neighbors' garages, so I hesitated at first. He could have politely explained that if my neighbors need to access their garage or back out, he can move his van. But no, he straight up said in a frustrated voice," It's up to you. You want the service or not?" How unprofessional is that? Anyways, he parks in front of my garage. Got all his equipment to go inside my home. I explained which areas of my carpet to clean. One of my family members clarified her area and he snapped at her saying that she was just repeating what was said earlier. It feels like he is in the house like a boss. While he was cleaning, he was rough with the equipment. I heard loud bangs and was so afraid he might scratch the wall. Later we realized he accidentally bump his equipment on one of the doors and very small area of paint got scratched off. He did little explaining and looked like he just hates his job. The carpet was clean as it was a simple cleaning service. No stains. I just feel that my overall experience was not great because of poor customer service. I left reviews with the company and no one ever reached out to talk about this experience with me. This might explain why someone like him keeps this job and continues to treat clients like this. Seems like a number of reviewers on yelp complain about this same technician. I don't think I want to request service from this company again. There are other companies and I'm just so apalled by such bad customer service. read more

I have never posted anything like this, but I want to share my recent experience with ZeroRez carpet cleaning company, so others can avoid the same experience. After cleaning my newer carpet, their solution left a large stain (about 4 ft. x 5 ft.) I can't remove. They used way too much solution - the technician told me he used 7 gallons of solution on this little little area, which seems ridiculous. There was a little bit of pet smell, two little dogs that sometimes "miss" their potty pads. ZeroRez is refusing to fix the issue, citing their 30-day guarantee, even though it's only been about two months and it's obvious it was caused by them. I wanted to share this to save others of this headache and possible permanent damage to their carpet. read more

This was my first experience using a carpet cleaning company. I always used an at home cleaner, but never again. My cleaner decided to leak all the dirty water onto my carpet and stop working. I called Zerorez and they were able to come out same day. Andy was amazing, very friendly and professional. I'll definitely be calling Zerorez again! read more

I had Zerorez clean my air ducts. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Two technicians were assigned. They didn't use booties or drop cloths so debris was scattered everywhere which they didn't vacuum up. They left fingerprints on our ceiling and chipped the ceiling paint. I called the Milpitas location and got a message from Larry that they would give me a refund of $30. I was hoping for an apology but really didn't receive one. I don't know if the technicians didn't follow protocol or really haven't been trained properly. Because they did such a poor job of cleaning up after themselves, I question how well they cleaned the air ducts. I do not recommend. read more

WOW! Zerorez Carpet cleaning did a great job on my White carpets! I've had several companies come to clean my carpets, but they left my home with a chemical smell. That smell left me with headaches, and they didn't remove all the stains. Zerorez employee Alex did a great job in removing all these stains! I had no chemical smelling carpets. I would recommend them to anyone. My carpets look new again! Thank you for this great service and I will call Zerorez again. read more

I don't want to leave a bad review but I am not happy with the customer service I received. On the positive side - their cleaning product is very good & my carpets were cleaned really well. Their scheduling was easy & they followed up with many texts prior to my appointment. Ryan & Alex were great - they did come outside of my scheduled window - but Ryan did contact me at the end of my scheduled window to tell me they were on their way. The negative side - I was overcharged - I say this knowing what I paid with my former carpet guy (sad that he retired, was my guy for almost 16 yr) & I know what my neighbors were charged with using Zeroex. I called many times to discuss my charges & also left 4 (it could have been more) emails with my concerns - as I wanted to discuss options to see if they would do a partial refund or a discount for my next treatment. But no one responded. This is why I cannot give them a positive review . Customer service is key in a business such as carpet cleaning & the fact that they were on it prior to my scheduling & then bang - didn't respond once to my reaching out - that shows me they didn't care - they got their payment from me so they were done. I feel taken advantage of by Zeroex. read more

I have a mixed review. I received a casual call a couple hours before my cleaning window telling me that they were cancelling my cleaning due to an ill tech. I explained that this was the only day that would work as tenants were moving in the next and I had promised them clean carpets. At first Zerores was pretty casual about the whole thing and said there was nothing they could do. Eventually, I am very grateful that they pulled in a tech from somewhere else and followed through on their obligation. Andy who showed up to clean was fantastic. Although running late he was clear with his communication and asked if we still wanted him to come. Once at the apartment he was professional, thorough, and did a great job. Thank you for pulling it off. read more

We needed to get our sofa's cleaned and some of our carpet cleaned. I have used Zerorez before and they have always done a great job. Today Ryan came out and he did a excellent job of explaining what he would be doing and had a nice quality about him. He really enjoyed doing what he was doing and did a great job and was done alot sooner thanI thought which was great. The Sofa's look great and the carpet also looks great. We will request Ryan the next time we need to have our carpet cleaned and will be calling to have him clean our tile and grout. Thank you Ryan ! Also the price was reasonable and organic a big plus! read more

Zerorez is my "go-to" carpet (and now gym floor) cleaning service for many reasons: * Scheduling online is easy, and I get an appointment quickly. * Pricing is abundantly clear and their promotions are very compelling. * They text me when they are on their way. * We do a walk-through before the service to align on expectations. * They protect stair newel posts with plastic guards. * They share how long the service will take and how long it will take to dry. * They are flexible on adding services while on-site based on my concerns (eg. paint on gym flooring). I have chosen Zerorez for many years, and I will request Jason and Asia specifically to keep our flooring clean and our home healthy! read more

I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks ago. I received an email yesterday confirming that I was receiving service today 8-10, and instructions on how to prepare for the service this morning. I trusted zero Rez because of the reviews. I had never used them before. This morning I got up at 5am and worked really hard to move all furniture and vacuum extensively I had been waiting 2 hours. I called up and asked when they are coming as they were late. The woman on the phone was rude and she told me that they did not put me in the schedule. I did not get an apology until I asked for one and when I did, she talked talking over me and raised her voice. After I told her she was raising her voice and talking over me as I told her how much this inconvenienced me and she was still not giving me an apology. She finally apologized and did not offer me any discount for future service. She said they could try to get me in the schedule today but I would have to wait at home as they could not give me any exact time. Zero Rez was unprofessional, unfair and I trusted them but their online system is not reliable and their customer service is unacceptable. I am disgusted with what I just went through over the phone after it was their mistake. read more

Alejandro from Zerorez just left my house and did an amazing job cleaning my carpet. As a customer who has used all of the major carpet cleaning companies, Zerorez is by far the best. Alejandro offered me a better deal than what I had signed up for, as I didn't even think I could afford having the carpet clean in my whole apartment. The best part is he was able to remove stains and leave my carpet looking new. In addition, he was very professional and friendly. Thank you Alejandro and Zerorez. I only plan to use Zerorez from now on. read more

LOVE HOW CLEAN AND WHITE MY CARPET IS NOW!!!!! DRIED WITHIN 24 HOURS. The technician (Ryan) was very nice and told me a lot about how the carpet gets cleaned with their special machine. I was REALLY happy I didn't have to have use my faucet for the water and that they have their own specialized water that they use in their VAN. Ryan spent A LOT of time cleaning it. He was very cheerful, and a lovely man to talk to. It was a lovely experience AND my carpet feels and smells and looks GREAT! read more

I want to give them five stars because they came back and made sure everything was right. My initial review wasn't positive because of all the remaining stains. Zerorez actually called me and wanted to reschedule a follow up visit. I didn't even know about the 30 day guarantee. Christian came out and really addressed the stains. Wow. What a difference! I am thankful that Zerorez has a 30 day guarantee and will do everything to make sure their customers are totally satisfied with the service. read more

Sergio was on time, and worked very hard. He pointed out some areas that were a challenge, which I appreciated and understood. My online assessment and the actual scope matched, and therefore the price. I've used Zerorez before and the quote was a lot higher then my previous actual cost - so a bit of sticker shock. Like everything, their prices have gone up. I knew it would be done well and since I don't do this very often, I booked the visit and I am very happy with the results. I would also request Sergio again for related services in my home. The schedulers were also very responsive to my questions and calls. read more

VERY EXPENSIVE! Carpets look good but they weren't very dirty. Even the Tech said so. We like the steaming vacuum method. Got the few spots out. Over $400 including protectant which we won't do again since it only lasts 6 months. He cleaned the carpets for 40 minutes. Adding set up and take down maybe he worked for one hour all together. He makes more than a piano teacher or a babysitter or a server without having a college degree. Would've been about $340/350 before the regular cleaning without protectant. Tech was very nice and listened to what we wanted. Do the math; that's $10/minute! Service good. Cost almost prohibitive. read more

Zerorez has been my carpet cleaner for fourteen years now! I've enjoyed great service with excellent results. Today I have to give a special shout out to Ryan! Out of all the technicians that have come over the years Ryan's service was the best! He went above and beyond and left our carpets looking like new! He was super prompt, bright, courteous, cheerful, professional, and efficient! I will totally request him the next time I need my carpets cleaned. Thank you Ryan! read more

The star should be zero. A cleaner showed up on time, reviewed the carpet and tried the standard bait and switch tactic that the carpets needed deep cleaning ($399) which usually means they turn the suction up. When I said I'll take just the shampoo cleaning ($109) he said he would go outside and call the office. HE NEVER CAME BACK!! I called the office and they said that he refused to do the job I requested and that it was his right to refuse the job! Totally unprofessional! read more

ZeroReZ did a good job on my carpet. The tech was very nice. He was very quick. They do not vacuum beforehand like other Carpet cleaning companies. And they don't set the legs of your furniture on any foam protectors. I have very small rooms and beds and couches take up most of the room but I still have to pay for a full room? They should measure the area they clean and charge only the area they actually clean. They don't give you an estimate over the phone when you call, so you have no idea what you are paying? They are a bit expensive so you have to wait till they have specials. They only do a once over and they do not focus on stains or high traffic areas. You have to pay more for that. Make sure they don't leave lines. Dark and white lines where they clean. A lot of the techs are very new. I don't know how much training they get? Don't let them leave till you look at all the rooms for dark and white lines. They don't explain much after they are done and they don't really clean up the water mess much. Make sure to ask for shoe protectors or you will be slipping on the wet carpets. Ask questions cuz they don't give much information... read more

Zerorez cleaned our carpet and area rugs recently which involved a change in dates for their service. They were very professional in accessibility by phone, drawing up the estimate, changing the date of service, doing the work, cleanup and post-work instructions. I have used them several times and recommended to many friends. I am now posting widely in my groups NEVER to use them again. Despite the shelter in place order, they are actively advertising discounts and taking appointments. I will not use a company that recklessly disregards my safety, and neither should you. Carpet cleaning is NOT an essential service, regardless of what they try to argue. Pure greed trying to profit off of fear. I am looking into how to report them to the police and department of public health. read more

I've been using Zerorez to clean my carpets for over 10 years now. They are great! Always professional, prompt, polite and they do an excellent job. I debated for years about having our stone floors in our kitchen, laundry room and bathroom cleaned. They are travertine with lots of natural pits in them. Over the years the water settled in the pits and grout. Taylor offer to clean them for me after doing the carpets. He gave me the price then showed me a sample of how it would look. I was shocked! I could instantly see the color of the stone and grout again. I was blown away! They also sealed the stone and grout. Thanks Taylor for convincing me to do it. Forgot to mention my 12 year old rugs look great too! I highly recommend Zerorez. read more

So I went with ZeroRez because I have a baby that's crawling and it's advertised as non residue green non toxic etc. Now the little guy has a rash on his face just on the side contacting the carpet he fell asleep on. My baby has fallen asleep on the carpet before, this is the first time he's had a breakout like this, he's not prone to rashes. I was hesitant to post, I waited a few days to see if maybe it spread and was something else (like roseola or one of the other random spotty things babies get) but he took a carpet nap again and even more spots turned up only on the areas contacting the carpet. My carpets are clean, the service people were awesome and it dried in a reasonable amount of time. If I didn't have a spotty baby I'd be pretty happy with the service. If they didn't make a big deal about "detergents and toxic chemicals" regular carpet cleaners have and "empowered water" does not I wouldn't be motivated to post this update. If you have a kid that has more sensitivities you might want to stick with a steam only cleaner. read more
