    Hawaiian Avalanche With Almond Milk
    Steve A.

Best place in Parma for ice cream. It has an endless amount of good flavors. Zero Zest always seems to have a long line at the window. For sure it's worth waiting awhile. They have mix ins and lots of non dairy selections. A specialty here is the Avalanche. It mixes in candy or fruit with any ice cream. There's almost unlimited combinations you can make. It's about $5 for a medium cup. They have a vegan vanilla ice cream flavor that can also be used. It's made with almond milk. This place is very good for vegans and they also have a few sorbets. It always has long lines but they are fast. It used to be just cash only. They now accept credit cards so they have slightly updated.

Good service, friendly and reasonable prices. Large assortment of choice and nice find away from Houston.

The best cherry dipped vanilla cone there ever was. A staple stop in the summertime. So many options on the menu!

I ordered the Turtle Avalanche. It was amazing. This place deserves more than five stars. The are quick. And friendly. The line was 20 people deep. But they moved it quickly. This place also offers vegan free and soy free ice cream made with Almond milk. You can't go wrong here.

Chocolate Brownie Avalanche - highly recommend!

I have loved this place since I was a kid. Is it nostalgia? Maybe a bit but honestly, there's a reason it's popular - just look at the lines during the summer. It's mostly a soft serve place with loads of cone options, avalanches (think dairy queen blizzard but better), shakes, etc. My go-to has been and will always be a chocolate brownie avalanche. Chocolate soft serve with delicious brownies, I always ask that they layer instead of mixing...the brownie pieces are larger and so so much better. But honestly I've sampled a decent chunk of the menu and have never been dissatisfied, there's something for everyone. They now have small cups for the avalanches and I find that to be more than enough. At under $4 you can't beat it. Great on hot days or just when you have a craving. Be sure to read the fact of the day located to the left of the left window, they're always interesting!

Though in plain sight, it's a hidden treasure for those who don't/can't have dairy. On top of regular dairy ice cream treats, they offer Silk almond milk ice cream products. I ordered the butterfinger avalanche with almond milk. Delicious! Never thought I would be able to go somewhere and have a " DQ blizzard" styled treat again. The ice cream was a normal consistency of regular ice cream where sometime things with almond milk are a little watery. And they are far from skimpy with the toppings. I had a lot of butterfinger in every bite. It never made it home! Highly recommended. Especially for those tired of "plain Jane" ice cream because of allergies.

New to the neighborhood and was recommended to try Zero Zest which I was told is under new management. I was impressed when I saw they had vegan ice cream, so I had to give it a try. The service was great. With Zero Zest being on the same street as another local ice cream competitor that gets a lot of praise I am glad to say that Zero Zest gives them a run for their money. They have some similarities, but what makes Zero Zest is their unique styles of ice cream and variety. I look forward to coming back

Vegan almond milk vanilla ice cream is great. Can add in plenty of items to mix it up.

Love that they have vanilla and raspberry swirl ice cream( for vegans / lactose intolerant). A great summer treat.

"large" avalanche. Medium or small cup at DQ that comes half empty.

It's like you never know what exactly you're getting or how it's going to be packaged. Well I was completely underwhelmed. Shame on Guy Fieri! I went per him featuring them on Diners Drive Inns & Dives. I got the raclette ramen, which he enjoyed. It was just a big bowl of flavorless milky broth, noodles and vegetables. I kept going back for more, hoping for something to be flavorful, but no! The cheese was ok but that's it. The $19 bowl didn't offer anything delectable for the price at all for me. I actually wouldn't even pay less for it. I guess this is kinda like pho? I tried a pho bowl in Cleveland's China town which was not great. The best I've had is a beef pho bowl at Lobster and Pho in Independence. Super delicious and flavorful broth and a lot cheaper than $19. I also had the crispy rice musubi. Also no flavor. The crispy rice tasted like a tasteless hash brown. The spam and chile topping was fairly flavorful. A bit salty but was ok. I sampled a few of the ice creams as well and was equally flavorless! I'd be happier with a container of butter pecan ice cream from Aldi for less than $3. I like to be honest with my reviews and hands down this isn't a place I'd return too and the menu didn't offer a ton of choices to go back to try anything else. The best thing I got here is the nice reusable bowl with a lid and the broth containers.

The place still looks as new/clean as ever, and I like that their menu clearly illustrates the number of scoops/flavors allowed. Today I opted for a split single of fresh strawberry and mint chocolate chunk. I'm usually quite a chocolate snob (flakes all the way, frozen chips are the worst!) and the chocolate in the mint was pleasant despite being a "chunk"!
