I've heard of zero degrees from some friends and I was excited to try it out! This was my first time here. Wear a mask when you go inside (for COVID) and follow the physical distancing in the store. No indoor dining right now, but they have take-out, curbside, and delivery available. Hand sanitizer is available at the counter. The staff are super friendly here, and you can tell they're enjoying their work. A+ for customer service!! I especially loved the chalkboard with the joke of the day! I ordered a Mangonada with tahín, great refreshment for a hot summer day, and lots of mango chunks on top! It was good but not a match for my flavor pallet. Zero Degrees is a fun spot to pick up a snack or a refresher. I have stopped by a few times for a boba tea. Their flavors are really limited. They don't even have the regular milk tea or the regular tapioca boba. They do have a split cup feature that allows you to choose to flavors. They have food but I have not given it a try yet. With seating inside and board games for you to play, it's a decent spot to hang out. Their menu is very small and the staff isn't very friendly. read more

Honestly, it was exciting to see the twist of this restaurant featuring Asian-Mexican fusion treats, such as "Elote" or corn, plus a unique tea selection among other drinks. I saw the many reviews,running across Yelp searching for something to delight the family and like other people I was hoping for the best. Customer service: Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed that the girl at the front area was visibly and throughly unhappy with her job. I checked in and let her know that I had an offer from "Yelp" for checking in. (It was a free drink if you spent over $25, our purchase ended up over $30...An average price as portions here are great.) At first she appeared confused and I totally understand,so I politely showed her the offer, as this sort of drew us in. I would have been just fine if she said something like "I'm sorry but unsure of what this is let me ask", or "we don't apply any offers" . Simple, just be nice- instead she had a very demeaning manner and was completely dismissive until another young gentleman approached and said- "I don't know what this is but sure, we'll take the offer". Which was very kind of him. I was still excited and went ahead with my order, after each item I ordered, total of 7 items, she was still very annoyed, and each time I added an item, she responded with "that's it"? My kids along with my husband became visibly uncomfortable with her demeanor, so I decided to cut our order short. They definitely do take some time to get the order, which isn't a big deal. It seems only 3 people were working, so we sat and waited. Please note that people behind us got their items rather quickly, but that is only because they make the drinks out in the front area, and the food items are all made in the back. So, as another reviewer mentioned, please, they are trying their best, I believe. Indoor notes: The hallway towards the bathroom was empty, dark and unlighted. Definitely a hazard for those walking back there if they can't see. I didn't walk back there but saw many people heading that way, so I am assuming there are restrooms back there. It was delightfully blended. I absolutely enjoyed it! Elote XXTRA- came in a cup and it was fresh. I enjoyed it. Spicy watermelon- super sweet. Delicious and not really too much of a spicy drink. So feel free to indulge, You get a hint of the lime, peppered Tajín. Steak " Carne asada" Fries- the best item on their menu, it was so different but it was served on a huge plate. All the toppings were fresh and my husband enjoyed it! Thanks to the gentlemen that brought us the order he was very kind and courteous. Flamin hot cheese fries- per my son- who loves anything "Flamin" he wasn't thrilled. It was a great idea- though and others truly like it on Yelp. Lastly, Monster Cookie drink- my kids did not like this. They said it tasted like frozen water with cookies, so it's at the bottom of the list. First thing I'll say is "Damn I wish these drinks had alcohol in them". My girlfriend and I just tried this place yesterday for the first time and it was pretty good. I'm not sure why I thought it was a bar style restaurant but clearly I was wrong. Anyways, we both ordered one of the slushies listed on the menu. I had the Pink Lychee slushie and she ordered the Watermelon Slushie. OMG, I thought both of them were delicious. My only rebuttal would be to remove the seeds from the watermelon before making the drinks. As far as food, She ordered the 6(pc) lemon pepper wings with a side of plain fries. OI ordered the carne asada fries. Typical to lemon pepper wings, they were extremely salty. The carne asada fries were a hungry mans dream meal. Stopped by tonight for a quick meal & drinks. The establishment is small & intimate, with indoor and outdoor seating. My boyfriend ordered the Carne Asada Fries and a Pink Lychee Slush. After ordering we looked for a clean table to sit at & couldn't find one (yes, every table was either wet or dirty). We finally sat at a shared table a few seats down from another couple dining in. I noticed the restaurant uses a buzzer system to signal when your food is ready, however, we weren't given one. When our drinks were ready they were sat on the counter & an employee brought our food out & asked for a receipt to verify our purchase before leaving us to enjoy our meal. Even though the food was brought to us, we had to get up to get our own silverware & napkins. I asked for a side of cheddar cheese to dip my fries in & was actually surprised when I wasn't charged for it (lol it's the little things). My lemon pepper wings were fried hard & packed with flavor. The fries were a little over cooked but also very flavorful. My boyfriend says his Carne Asada Fries tasted great but the portion size & overflow of condiments made it difficult to finish (lol he said he felt guilty eating it all). Both slushees were amazing. My Watermelon Slush tasted as if a fresh watermelon was blended with no added ingredients. Very refreshing! The only thing I could have down without was swallowing the seeds. This place is ridiculous. Ridiculously good. It opened up about a month ago and the restaurant was packed when we got there around the 5:30 hour. However, the line moved quickly and we got our food within a reasonable amount of time. Don't go if you're on a diet ;P There's a check in offer on the app for a free add-in to your drink. The box packages include the entree, side, and a refreshing juice drink. I saw some of the milkshakes coming out with marshmallows and Oreos on top of them. It was very intriguing, but I settled for the strawberry horchata. The fresh strawberries and the horchata mix along with the crystal boba was good. The elotes (corn) I went with had cheeses and some kind of other sauces on top of it. The fries were plentiful that came with it. I wasn't a fan of the popcorn chicken that my husband got and he enjoyed it. He got it hot, which I wasn't a fan of..lol. The inside is cute and there is a decent amount of seating. Went to this place on their 2nd of grand opening and it was packed! The line kept growing all the way out the door. The place was not big but decent in size compared to the other Boba places located in Lantana rd. and Gateway blvd. Not only do they serve Boba drinks but they also serve a few food items as well. For drinks we ordered Ube (also known as Taro or purple yam) smoothie with Boba. Cookie Monster smoothie, and Matcha milk tea with Boba. He smoothies were topped of with whip cream, sprinkles, airhead strip, and a big marshmallow. They looked great and tasted great. They were not too sweet as well. Tiger Milk Tea looked good, had good taste, a bit on sweet side, but the Boba pearls were hard as rocks. That means they were not freshly made. It's all about the Boba, if you're gonna sell Boba Teas. Could not drink it. Our drinks were done when I saw a worker spray cleaning the table behind the counter with open cartons of tea sitting on top. Probably should be covering those first. This was about 3 on a Sunday. I was a little disappointed with our experience here. My wife and I ordered drinks online. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with boba and my wife ordered a Lychee Crush. When we arrived, we decided that we also wanted to try their food, so we placed an order of Garlic Chicken and Cheddar Jalapeno Elote. I thought my Jasmine Milk Tea was pretty good, however, I would have liked it a little stronger than it was. It tasted a little watered down, but it wasn't bad. My wife really liked her Lychee Crush. I, honestly, wish that we would not have ordered the food. My chicken was so dry that it actually hurt to bite into it. It was almost like biting down on rocks. Way too much garlic! (And that's coming from a huge garlic lover.) My wife did not like her Elote either. She said that it was way too sweet and she was unable to finish it. The fries that came with both of our orders were not good either. Overall, I wish that we had not ordered the food. I feel that it took away from the experience. I'm honestly so happy that there's finally something worth visiting near Forest Hill! Zero Degrees is typically a franchise that specializes in Asian desserts (such as the one in Gainesville), but this specific establishment chose to combine Asian desserts with a Hispanic twist! I absolute love that they merged two cultures, and you can see how well this idea came together just by observing the diversity of its customers! As for the food, this is probably my favorite boba place in the area. The boba place in the mall is trash to be honest, and the other boba place near Okeechobee isn't so fantastic either. The actually boba pearls here are cooked well (soft but chewy) and the drinks themselves taste good and not like a powder like some other boba drinks! Also, their mango drink with tajin has the right amount of kick and flavor to it! My personal favorite is the strawberry horchata! The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the Flamin' Hot Cheetos Cheese Fries. I really had no expectations for this since I love fries and flamin' hot cheetos, but the taste was a little underwhelming here. The fries had little to no cheese, the fries itself were really thin (so they got soggy fast with whatever cheese was on it), and the cheeto experience did not make them spicy at all in my opinion. Welcome to my scathing review! This is my opinion is based upon the soft opening and it's a bit crowded I'm sure when the traffic slows down the place will take its shape but this is my initial review. The crowdedness is actually a plus and here's why. For how busy it was they served everyone pretty quick. Our meals came out minutes after we ordered and now the pictures they show really is what you get! A box of food but the flavor makes up for presentation. Let's talk about the main thing the food and drinks and honestly I would come here mainly for the drinks. That's where this place really shines its the honest reason you should come here and I would give that a 5/5 for consistency while crowded. The food is honesty a share with friends thing and great conversation and not a stand alone meal. The boxes of food I will call conversation boxes for the rest of this review because it's not big enough to fill you but enough to share over a conversation. Let's go a little more about items I personally tried. The lychee crush was as to be expected from a lychee tea drink. I would definitely order that again it's a good refreshing drink and something of a classic. The Horchata must have and if you had horchata anywhere else like tacos al carbon locally you will not be disappointed. The Mangonada was a little on the sour side if you don't mix it well enough but once you shake it up it's a go from me and again refreshing. The spicy watermelon is well as it sounds, fresh watermelon with a chili twist and very refreshing I would take it on a hot day. If you're a tea person check out the tiger sugar milk tea and it's a sweet dessert like drink. It's not a go to menu item but good on flavor and if your in the mood for something sugary sweet. The peach blossom was also a very good balance of peach and refreshing tea. Its a (4/5) for the Elote Box was on point for a quick grab and go kinda meal with a drink of your choice. The meal was flavorful and well you can't really mess up Elote and add it with friends and fries it's a good combo. It's a little pricey at $12 for corn and a drink but what the hey. The real cost is the drink to be honest but if you're in the mood for Elote you will not be disappointed flavor-wise. Again it's a conversation box more than a meal also the hot Cheetos topping was a bonus. The next box is the Pop Corn Chicken Box and for how crowded it was the chicken was cooked on point, soft and overall very flavorful (4/5). This is worth closer to the $12 cost to have it and the drink again probably covers more than half the cost but $6 and $6 if you think about it isn't so bad depending on the drink you get and again a good box to share with friends. The last box we tried was the Crispy Chicken Wing Box and this was a box a little bit more pricey at $13 and this one is not a conversation box this one is I want this to myself box. The fries you can probably share but the wings you'll want to hoard cause you only get 6 and they're flavorful. This may actually fill you up and you will walk away happy. Overall I would give this place a 5 on the tea and drinks that you get but on the food aspect again less of a meal and more of a conversation box to share. You'll probably be more full ordering two drinks but it was good! read more

I decided to visit this place after seeing so many advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. I always love checking out a new boba place. Unfortunately this place fell short of expectations. The food was okay at best. Very simple dishes, chicken wing and popcorn chicken weren't up to par for a normal place like this. Drinks were okay also. The service was bad, I counted about eight workers in the front of the house while I wait about 20 minutes for my drink. The place seems very inefficient in terms of workers knowing what to do. I often saw many socializing or drinking drinks in front of customers. It would be okay to drink some drinks, but do it in the back. I asked about a couple drinks and dishes to the cashier but she didn't know anything about them. My first time here and it was definitely worth the drive. The drinks were amazing with so many different options and choices to choose from, there is something to satisfy everyone. I'm a vegetarian and others in my party love meat, we were all able to find something we loved on the menu. The server was very helpful at recommending popular dishes that we might enjoy and the food was cooked fresh to order and didn't take long at all. I was worried that the food wouldn't be very filling but the portions were more than enough and everyone was completely full after their meal.
