We have been FanDiego believers for some time, first in Palm Springs and now in San Diego. We had…read morepreviously installed a dozen ceiling fans, including five in our most recent home of 11 years, but somehow never got around to replacing the klutzy, heavy old one in our family room, which has a very high ceiling and slanted beams. So one day when we had nothing else to do, we plotted a tour of several fan shops, just to see what was available, but one stop at FanDiego in San Marcos/Escondido and our shopping was complete. Jess was a pleasure to talk to, had exactly the fan we wanted, as well as a family connection to Specialty Electric for the installation, which was a fabulous choice for the work. Easy peasy purchase and easier peasier installation. The new fan looks better, more contemporary, with a bright light if we need it, whisper quiet and a great pusher of air. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

This company is deceiving. We are doing a bathroom remodel and loved the 3 light Whitman vanity…read morelights and ordered 2 based on our original design. Unfortunately our design had to be changed during the building process. I was disappointed because I like the look of the lights but the finish is a little cheap looking for the price and they do not use standard bulbs. Although the website states there is NO RESTOCKING FEES and FREE SHIPPING, upon calling to process the return we were told there is a RETURN PROCESSING FEE and we would have to pay back the "free" shipping charge. WHAT? Along with paying the return shipping fees. We asked if we could return the lights directly to the store and were told then there would be a restocking fee because they don't sell these lights in the store normally. SO MUCH FOR NO RESTOCKING FEES..... they just change the wording to "processing fees". I have shopped on their website and in the store in the past and spent a lot of money on custom lights and home decor. I am very disappointed in their customer service for returns. We ordered new vanity lights from another company. Make sure you don't need to return anything to this company or you will be out quite a bit of money.

This is a long overdue review for a really cool place called Re{x) Designer Furniture Store. I've…read morebeen going there since 2016, and I think it's amazing. At Re{x), there are three super talented people who work there (one of them being the owner) who know a lot about fancy furniture. They've been doing this for more than 50 years combined! They're really good at finding special furniture that's really old, really nice, or even one-of-a-kind. They're also on Instagram, where they share awesome pictures of each item (however come into the store where you can see the complete inventory...its a warehouse space and its HUGE!) They have a really nice website, rex.haus. If you like things that look really nice in your home, this is the perfect place for you. I also like the fact that the staff here are SO friendly, helpful and nice and I've always had great interactions with them every single time. There are many different styles of furniture at Re{x). They have stuff from a long time ago that's still super cool, things that look really modern, and even furniture made by famous designers. Some of these cool designers are Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Marcel Breuer, Vico Magistretti, Phillipe Starck, Knoll, Drexel Declaration, Saarinen, Haywood-Wakefield, Charles and Ray Eames, Paul Evans, Poul Kjaerholm, Florence Knoll, Goerge Nakashima, Gio Ponti, Hans Wegner, Charlotte Perriand, Eero Saarinen, Carlo Mollino, Marco Zanuso, Anchille Castiglioni, Franco Albini, and Gaetano Pesce. What's even more spectacular is that they have the famous and very Iconic UP Chair by Gaetano Pesce,... its the anniversary edition and in a silver metallic fabric. Love It! Check this store out... you won't regret it So, if you want to see really neat furniture, have a lot of fun, and locate that hard to find designer piece that you have been looking all over the world for....you should definitely go and visit Re{x) Designer Furniture Store in Palm Springs. Rarely do I enjoy such expert advice and service at various businesses, but I am sending a huge…read moreshout out and recommendation for this store. Simple need: I have six recessed lightbulbs from a 9-year old kitchen remodel, and four of them were not working. Googled 'Lightbulbs' and Siri guided me to this place from my home in La Verne. Kind of confusing to find the entrance to 'Lightbulbs', but found a door and realized it's all one giant place. I questioned a very pleasant guy on a ladder about 'where do I go for lightbulbs?', and he immediately stepped down and accompanied me over to where he found the perfect replacement bulbs which were an absolute match, but a much lighter (weight wise) version. Info on the original LED bulb was barely readable, but he found what turned out to be perfect replacements. Upon arrival home, I replaced the non-working bulbs with the new ones which are an absolute match in brightness and look. Amazingly, the final bill was only $23.98 (including tax), which is just under $6 for each bulb. According to the box, these LED lights could last up to 22 years. I hope I'm around to see that when I'm 91 years old! Wait: There's more! This place is filled with every type and style of high-end lighting, so if you're in the mood to re-do any room or entry-way lighting, check out what they have. But again, I was so impressed with the expertise of the associate. I didn't catch his name, but his initials may be RM. On my receipt it lists the 'Writer' as RM.
